Come and meet our leader of the pack Alexander he is a real nice fellow unless you meet him on his off day. All is good here, food is absolutely needing help people are complaining but nothing being done the meat at dinner is always camouflage so you dont know what it is potatoes are always baked or cooked with alot of seasoning on them hardley ever a baked potatoe if things dont change heart burn or indigestion will set in were not allow to have another food service and.it isn't good otherwise ypu might get your rent higher if you complain to much.we will all go broke or be sick from the food. The staff is really is nice and helpful. The people who work here try there hardest to make you feel at home. Claudia is a really nice person she is our greeter at the front desk and runs the ship so to speak along with Mary Crystal Beth Sue Reva Joy you'll enjoy there visits.Us Seniors don't need our rent raised and we need a good meal. Alexander tries but we have trouble making him understand Oh by the way I could use a new friend we have a few empty cottages So think about it I could use a new friend my name is Pam There is always some activity you might also like. Mike and Shane and Sue help keep things clean and also work able.Not to forget the other nice people who make this a home away from home. Come and meet a new friend and shake hands with Alexander he's and ok guy unless you meet him on his bad day. To tell the truth I wouldn't come here. Sure I need a good friend but not that bad.

When my mother-in-law was trying to move in and sell her house at the same time we got incredible help from Emberlyn who went out of her way to help us through our ups and downs. Very courteous and professional help. My mother-in-law enjoys all of the meals that are made, the beautiful grounds, the helpful employees and staff, and her new friends that she's made here. I look at this place and think about moving in myself one day LOL!

At Cascades of Grants Pass you are going to find the single most accommodating, understanding and thoughtful group of employees and staff imaginable. In particular you will find a gal, Emberlynn Nordhaus. In all my years of hospitality, Emberlynn is a shining beacon of what service and care for others should be. Her driving heart for those around her is unmatched from any person I have ever met, and I have never experienced such an honest and deeply invested approach to human beings than I have witnessed in herself. Tara is the crown jewel of The Cascades. Kind, compassionate and very detail oriented so we knew all the ins and outs re. both memory care and assisted living for my parents. Though we were not able to choose assisted living for my mom, due to needing more one on one care with a foster home following her fall, I would love living there myself. So many room choices from independent cottages to the big array of assisted living accommodations and memory care right there as well. With dad we chose a smaller facility as well for we felt he may do better with a smaller setting, yet this may change down the road.Thank you Tara for walking us through a terribly stressful time having to place 2 parents in a matter of days, and being so kind when after all your help we felt we needed to make a different choice.

Seems like an excellent place. Tara was amazing in giving us all the details we needed for my step mother in memory care. She'll have her own apt and live in a 'neighborhood' with only 14 residents. There are 4 separate neighborhoods in memory care, but it's a huge facility.

My mom is a resident in the independent living facility at Cascades of Grants Pass. Moving her to a facility was a difficult choice for us. We knew she was lonely living with my sister because she didn't have any friends nearby, but she weren't able to drive herself any longer. Mom is a social butterfly and moving her into a living environment with her peers has been the best choice we could make. Not only does she have wonderful new friends, but the staff helps us keep watch to make sure she's safe and still gets out to do fun activities. She loves not having to cook and she regularly goes to classes for arts and crafts. A few weeks ago, she was one of the judges at a resident dog show. This week she put some of her projects on display at a resident art show. I love out of town but when I was visiting her, we attended a card making class with a group of her friends, then joined a group of them for dinner. My mom chose to ride with her friends on the facility bus! The fact that she enjoys her friends and her home at Cascades makes me so happy we made this choice.

My mom has been a resident at Spring Meadow (Independent Living) Cascades of Grants Pass for 2 years now. She absolutely LOVES it there. The staff is kind and attentive. If they have a concern, they don't hesitate to reach out to me. We feel very lucky to have found her the perfect apartment overlooking a beautiful lawn and gurgling fountain. This community is the perfect size for our mom. She loves the interaction with other residents, and the opportunity to go out for the occasional excursion in the "fun bus". They have a newer activity director who knows the residents by name and has them busy with all sorts of different activities throughout the week. If mom gets bored there it is her own fault - there is so much to do! The Executive Director holds an interactive meeting each week that includes him reading to them and opening the floor for discussion! Of course my mom always has an opinion to share! She thinks the food is amazing and the servers are absolutely the best ever in her book! The chef holds meetings with the residents as well to hear what they have liked and what they haven't liked, or what they might like to try adding to the menu. They always have lots of choices at meal time. Let's face it, we all want this type of a positive experience for our parent. The staff there is an extension of the family. They want what's best for mom and have helped me through a couple of matters that I had questions about. I know if (when?) the time comes that she needs assistance, they have assisted living and memory care on the same campus. I highly recommend Cascades of Grants Pass.

This assisted living facility is beautiful! . I arrived a couple of days after my sister moved in. I’m super impressed with the maintenance, the units along with the staff, and amount of care that they give to individuals! They have a study, game room, fireplace and a great dining room. It is beautifully landscaped with lots of windows, and the main dining room is large and inviting. All of the staff is so helpful and the food is served fresh and served timely. It’s so heartwarming to know that my sister will be taking care of with warmth and kindness.

My mom was a resident of The Village assisted living facility at The Cascades of Grants Pass. Shortly after she moved to The Village, she was placed on hospice. The compassion, respect and care the staff at The Village provided to my mom and to our family was amazing. Every employee of The Village is incredibly caring and patient. My wife and I were looking for a place for her sister to move to. We just dropped in with no warning at all. I always feel this is the best way to see how things are REALLY run. Well, the minute we walked in the front door we were very impressed with the cleanliness and how bright everything looked. It was almost like walking into a very nice hotel. We were greeted by 4 of the residents that were just sitting around talking. They seemed to us to be very happy, as they welcomed us to their home. Since we had not made an appointment to see this facility we were afraid we would not get to see how the rooms were or how small/large they are. One of the residents asked if we wanted to talk to a staff member. Before I could answer, a woman came up to us and again, we were welcomed to Brookdale Village. After talking to her for just a few minutes we could tell she worked there because she loved her job. We explained what we were there for and before I could say another word she asked if we would like to tour this facility. We got to see everything we came to see. We were impressed with all of the things they offered. We found the one thing we really liked. It was one of their cottages. We went right in the office and put our deposit down to insure it was ours (our sisters) . It wasn’t just the cottage, it was everything. We had seen many of the staff members as they were doing their jobs and every one of them stopped what they were doing and addressed us with a smile and great attitude. It was obvious to us that with this kind of surroundings (all being positive) this was the place for our loved one. It showed in the people that live there and ALL the staff members as well. If you are looking for a place that you can trust to take care of your loved ones, Brookdale Village, Grants Pass should be one of the first places you look. It may save you lots of time looking. BTW, we found that the price were much less expensive than we ever thought possible for what you get. We all are so happy with our choice for our Sister. Thank You once again Bryan for you and your excellent staff.

Brookdale is an affordable assisted living center. They do a good job for the price. Its not a high end assisted living center, but your not paying a high end price. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice. The food is not bad. They could probably use more staff, but most assisted living centers have a staff turnover rate... My Grandmother currently lives there and I visit her as much as possible. Seniors can be very picky, grandmas complaint is allways the food, but she has all her teeth and loves well seasoned food. Most seniors need softer food and fairly bland at that so they cant make everyone happy. But their fried chicken is AWESOME!!!! Thank you for caring for my Grandma! Btw the guy that rated Brookdale 1* also rated Little Ceasars 1* because they dont take EBT (EBT does not allow hot cooked food genius)

I have to say, that I have seen a dramatic decline since Brookdale took over. I can only speak for the Assisted Living Facility. I am finding that my loved one's room will go long periods of time without being cleaned. They are "Short-staffed". Why? That isn't a good enough excuse for me to accept the fact that there are only a few people trying to do everything instead of dedicated people doing specific jobs. The same people who serve the meals, clean the rooms and run around trying to do too many things!! No complaint against the staff....It's Brookdale in general for not keeping enough staff and or management for not making sure that things run a little smoother.
