My mother considers Amity Place her home. She has a lovely room, and the staff are friendly and caring”although my mother does have her favorites. I visit her every week, and she is always neatly dressed in matching clothing with her hair carefully combed. Whenever I ask if she has any complaints, she simply says, What is there to complain about? The activity coordinator, Dawn, has endless energy and genuinely cares about the residents’ well-being. One of the fall family events included farm animals”horses, goats, cats, and pigs”and my mother could not stop smiling. She loved petting the animals. The food”funnel cakes, soft pretzels, popcorn, apple cider, and more”made the day even more fun for everyone. The Thanksgiving dinner is another wonderful event where families and residents gather together, and the food is always excellent. My brother and I truly feel that our mother is well cared for at Amity Place, and we are very happy with the choice we made.

We had a very unique situation with a relative. This required understanding, caring, and coordination with several organizations just to accommodate our family and make this happen. My sister and I are very happy with the facility. We've had a few issues/conserns, but when communicating them to the Executive Director, things seem to be resolved. This place is a very nice assisted living home. My friend that I care for had a fall and became wheelchair bound. He is now unable to live on his own. Prior to his fall I would go to his house 4 or 5 times a day sometimes just checking on him and making meals and giving his medicine. I did that for years and it was becoming more and more and I feared him being alone more and more. When he was in the rehab after the fall they helped me transition him to assisted living. It was rough transition at first buy now he has a scheduled routine again and people that are always there. They have a wonderful community area that they do alot of different things with the residents and their families. If he doesn't feel like doing anything then he has his own room that he can do what he likes to do. The staff that's been here and hung tough arE the best you can see they really care. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the constant employee changes. They must have changed hands because one by one the people that i trusted are leaving. Still there are a few left, if they go i think we will look into a cheaper place. The price recently was increased by a ridiculous $600 dollars and its funny because he is now getting less care then before. I used to get regular updates and now never. I used to be informed what medications and the changes that are made. Now i don't. I Doctor that goes there seems to be spread too thin because when an appointment is requested its never followed up.

Very clean home like facility . The staff is exceptional . They really care for the residents and cater to their needs. They treat residents and family members with a lot of love and respect . Food is great!! Lots of activities if you would want to participate. I am a retired RN with a lot of rehab and geriatric experience. Since my grandmother resides here I would highly recommend this facility for your loved one!

Amity Place has been a wonderful home for my Aunt the last five years. She has enjoyed the wonderful activities, beautiful facility and companionship. I have appreciated the cordial, personal relationship, not only shown to the residents, but also their family members. The attentive staff has been a wonderful reason for my Aunt thriving since going there. I would highly recommend Amity Place for your loved ones.

Our mother/mother in law was here for approximately 6 months and will share the care she received was very good. The staff is very caring and when she would ring for help someone was always there within a few mins to help her. The room was always kept clean and tidy. Amity Place has the best employees!! They have helped to make my mothers transition seamless! Everyone is so accommodating and happy all the time! My mother is the happiest she has ever been. She participates in all the activities. They don't just leave you on your own when you move in. They come to and get to know the residents and encourage them to participate! I can not say enough positives things about everyone that works there. Oh, the food is excellent!!

We have been onsite for the past eight years providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. We have worked closely with the Amity Place team throughout this entire time. The community is well run, very clean, and their team members truly care about the residents. I would not hesitate to call to setup a tour and see if Amity Place is a fit for You or your loved one!

My mom was a resident from October 2022 through March 2023 when she passed away at the age of 93. Amity Place was excellent and my mom was very happy there. The staff is very caring and compassionate and the facility is very clean. The activities offered every day and the persistence of the activities director, Dawn, are just what residents need to feel as though they still have purpose at the end of their life. The entire staff was wonderful but I will always be grateful to Mark, Donna, Dawn and Brooke for their professionalism and for making us feel like family.

My father was at Amity Place from February until he passed in May. My experience with Amity started out with a virtual tour. I was immediately drawn to the open and inviting community area as you walk in the doors. Then the staff came to out home for approximately 3 hours for a one-on-one interview with me and my father.. During his stay, the entire staff were helpful and took very good care of him, especially Beth and Stuart. I did not want to put my father into an assisted living facility, but since I had to, I am glad I chose Amity Place. In my opinion, it was the best place he could have been for the last few months of his 96+ years.

They went above and beyond to get my father placed here. Especially since the hospital dropped the ball, they stepped in and did everything to get him placed and comfortable. It feels like a home, rather than a nursing home. The staff and residents were very kind and caring.

Our family recently was looking to move our mother from the facility she was in to another assisted living home. My husband stop in Amity Place one afternoon to look around and to get some information. From the moment he walked thru the door he was treated like family. No pressure, just WELCOME! Donna took him for a lovely tour. He came home and told me I must go over and see how beautiful Amity Place is. And he expressed how nice and friendly everyone was. Donna on her own personal time took my phone call and answered dozens of questions and concerns we had prior to a move for our mother. We made an appointment and brought our mother along to also take a tour. Well, what an appointment that was!!!!!!! Professional, educational, warm and inviting. We met EVERYONE, the director Marc, Donna again, George the RN, even the chef stopped in to talk to mother and our family. All our checks were marked off. Most importantly, our mother told us she loved the bright, one level, clean and homey surroundings. We proceeded to move mother ASAP! Our mother has only been there 3 full days and she has already participated in numerous activities because Dawn the SUPER DUPER activity director gets her to participate. Can't leave out Brooke who greets you at the front door with a bubbly smile(under her mask) and is always accommodating with any questions we may have. We are still meeting all the care providers but so far everyone is so friendly and caring. Her apartment is gorgeous and she even has a kitchenette. I know our family made the right choice with moving mother to Amity Place!!!!!! I can finally have a good nights sleep.

My Mother was a resident here and my Aunt is currently a resident. The staff is caring and compassionate. The facility is clean, warm and welcoming. We highly recommend Amity to anyone looking for support for a loved one. They truly listen and care about the residents and treat them like family. The activities are great and the rooms are beautiful.

Best personal care. The staff is friendly and attentive. They come almost immediately when you ring the bell. My mom LOVES all the activities and food. Hearthstone is very clean and well maintained.

I can not believe the improvements that I have seen in my mother since she has been there these three months. Her mental and physical improvements are so great. When she first arrived at Hearlthstone she could barely walk 50 feet. Now she is walking all over the place. The entire staff are really great and go beyond. I was so glad to hear my Mom refer to Hearthstone as her "Home" and she feels that the staff are part of her extended family. She is the happiest that I have seen her in a long time.
