My mother needed surgery but my dad has dimentia while all of us kids all work full time or are in other states we needed a facility to take care of him. We contacted Corridor Crossing Place and found a safe and caring environment to care for our dad. They have a very clean facility with amazing employees that make you feel like you are leaving your loved one with people that not only care but feel like family. They have planned things to do so you aren't just placed in a room and forgotten until meds need passed or time to eat. We will definitely be back to Corridor Crossing place if we need help for our dad again. Thanks for caring for our dad.

My Mother is 95 yrs old and very independent. She recently fell and after healing at a skilled nursing facility, it was brought to my attention that she needed full time care. We looked at Corridor Crossing Place and loved the facility and the people. I was very anxious if my Mother would like it. After she walked into her apt she smiled and was happy. I'm thrilled with our decision to place my Mom at your facility.

Corridor Crossing Place is a wonderful place for my parents to live. The staff is fabulous. The dining room is lovely, serving wonderful meals three times a day. There are many activities. My parents get a lot of attention and receive very fine care. It is a very clean and homey environment. We are very pleased we chose this to be my parents new home.

My husband has frontotemporal dementia and needed 24-hour care. With the help of the Community Relations Coordinator and the Nurse-Manager, we were able to get my husband into Corridor Crossing Place’s memory care unit very quickly. They provided a safe, cozy and comfortable new home for my husband. He has been there 6 months and has received excellent care. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and willing to communicate the whole picture of what’s happening with the resident and his care. There are activities like Music therapy and Physical exercise that residents can participate in. The facility is small enough that everyone knows the residents by name, knows their likes and dislikes, and treats them as valued members of the community. The ability to easily coordinate medical care with the doctors at UIHC and Mercy Cedar Rapids is a bonus. The staff knows what they are doing and are so helpful and considerate as his condition worsens. The best decision I have made is having my husband under the care of Corridor Crossing Place. It’s not large and fancy, but I am confident in the staff and level of care he’s receiving. I would recommend this to families looking for a place that’s committed to safety, to quality care and to making every resident feel at home.

Our Mom was a residential Corridor Crossings for over three years. It was hard for her to leave her home, but it wasn't long before she was calling Corridor Crossings home. Sometimes Mom would get cranky, but the staff was always patient and professional with her. The quarantine has been handled VERY well. The derecho storm and subsequent power outage forced Mom to find a temporary place for her oxygen machine. Guests had an open invitation to join in meals, and MOM especially enjoyed that. Holidays are special times there, with crafts, entertainment, and meals. Thank you ' A Place for Mom ', and thank you staff at Corridor Crossing. God bless you all!

My Sister and I had our Mother in this wonderful place for a brief period of time and I can't tell you how wonderful they were. They assisted us in every way possible during a difficult time. They are in the process of remodeling but things were neat and clean. The staff was more than helpful and did everything they could to help our mother. Unfortunately she was unable to take care of her needs in this "assisted living" facility and needed to have more personal nursing care so she had to be relocated to a "nursing home". I wish we could have kept her there a little longer she was beginning to socialize and do the crafts and other activities they offer there. A totally wonderful experience in a confusing time. Thank You all.
