My mother went to Langdon Family Place following a hospital stay. They took the best care of her. Ultimately, my mother passed away in this facility. During this difficult time, they were compassionate and understanding. I called them late one night towards the end of my mother's life and they knew my mother's case and immediately went to check on her. It was a big relief to know that my mother was not just another patient but they were caring for her during a difficult time. Towards the end when I stepped away from my mother's room, they called me to tell me to rush back to her room because she didn't have much time. Their extra effort to do so ensured I was with my mother in the final moments. I will never be able to thank them enough for giving me that time with my mother.

Truly incredible staff that runs the place, from the e. director to the nurses. My grandmother lived in assisted living here and the staff made what could have been several difficult years of her life so much better. I cannot say enough about LPK

The initial security sign in was a bit onerous but probably necessary in this day and age. My mom was there for 6 weeks 25 years ago. Virtually no security then.

LP is a wonderful rehab center and I enjoyed my stay. I learned a lot of valuable information as my abilities returned. Only their meals could improve. The nursing staff were all so wonderful and helpful.

My mother, who moved into Assisted Living at Langdon Place in January, has received excellent care! The move was tough for mom at first, but the LP team worked very hard to help her feel at home. The staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the residents. They've gone above and beyond to care for my mom! Mom's gotten great PT and OT on-site. She's also benefitted from the social opportunities, like the art group and book club. We're so thankful Mom's at LP!

So far the staff have been very attentive. My mom has only been at the facility for 24 hours. They have been on top of her pain and reach out to family multiple times with concerns or questions.

My mother moved here just over a year ago. The facility is always clean and maintained but what really makes this place exceptional is the staff. From the kitchen crew, to housekeeping to nursing, maintenence and administration, they treat the residents with dignity and compassion.

My mother has been at Langdon Place for 6 weeks. She is recovering from 2 broken legs. From the very first day of her stay she has been treated with kindness, caring, respect, and patience. The RNs, LNAs, therapists, and administrators have been responsive to all of her needs. They are very professional and highly competent. If she has a concern the relevant staff person listens and then does everything in their power to address and resolve the issue. The facility is kept very clean. The laundry personnel are dedicated to making sure the clothes are washed and returned promptly. My mother also really loves the food and she looks forward to the meals every day. She appreciates the effort the cooks make to provide tastiness and variety. When I come to see her every day the staff is very friendly to me. They are happy to answer my questions and update me on my mom’s progress. We both feel very, very lucky that she is there for her rehabilitation!

Langdon Place of Keene is a really beautiful, clean, and homey facility. The staff are very friendly and willing to help in whatever way(s) they can! They treat my dad with respect and always maintain his dignity and that speaks volumes! The staff also does a great job with communication and keeping the family updated. I was blessed to be at Langdon Place for rehab. What I had anticipated to be a 2 week stay, due to insurance, was able to be extended for several weeks. I got excellent care by the staff and the physical and occupational therapist helped to prepare me to do well at home. The food was good with a varied menu. I would recommend Langdon Place , to anyone in need of rehab.

My wife spent a month at Langdon Re-Hab after a fall. Facility was clean and well-managed. Nursing services were good and got her pain under control. Therapy (OT and PT) was adequate and got her moving again but not as in-depth or frequent as we would have wished. Overall, a very good experience and we would recommend it for RE-Hab.

My husband came here after a hospitalization, and we were very happy with the care he received. He did not always like having a roommate, but Langdon tried their best to find someone compatible. The concern and care of all staff was fantastic. And the food is quite good.

Who is spoiled more? The resident or the family? Langdon takes care of their residents: Hang a picture? Yes Hair and nails? Yes Housekeeping and laundry? Yes Medical assistance? Yes Personal assistance? Yes Entertainment? Yes Necessary transportation? Yes Good food? Yes Resident meetings for questions, feedback, suggestions? Yes SAFETY? Yes The personal attention for my father cannot be measured. Langdon is a family. It's a place where everyone knows your name and cares.

The staff at Langdon Place Keene, from my first contact with Jenny at admissions, made it clear to me they were there to do the heavy lifting and give my mother the best care possible and to offer me support and peace of mind, as well, which they absolutely did for the 21 days my mother was a patient at LPK. The office staff, nurses, therapists and other dedicated members of the LPK team were professional, generous and kind not only to my mother but to me, too. Any comment I might make regarding my mothers likes and dislikes would be shared with, and known by, all staff I encountered the following day. This level of interest and consideration not only showed itself when I was on the premises, but it also extended to impromptu phone calls and emails from LPK updating me on my mothers progress, passing along messages from her, and asking how I was doing, do I need anything, and the like, which continues still, even as my mother is back home now.Nobody wishes to find themselves or a loved one in a health care facility, but it is reassuring to know, if the need arises, a place as wonderfully staffed as Langdon Place Keene is there for you. They have my full throated recommendation.

My mother has been a resident for about 3 months now and I am very happy with her new home. From the pre-screening process to intake and now that she is settled, very smooth transition. The staff has been great and they have all done a very good job with the Covid issues.

Langdon of Keene is a five star CMS rated rehab unit as of February 2021. If you are researching options I would encourage anyone to view the virtual tour and educate themselves on what is involved with earning that rating when choosing a center for rehab! My genuine experience is that of an employee with longevity. We stay at Langdon because we love what we do!

Langdon Place of Keene is a true blessing! I cannot begin to express how amazing the staff were when my family was going thru the most difficult and painful time of our lives as we transitioned my mother into their memory care unit. To say they went the extra mile for us, and my mother, would be an understatement! The compassion and love they show for their residents (and family members) still brings tears to my eyes. They have done an absolutely phenomenal job during this pandemic keeping our loved ones safe, with not one resident contracting Covid. Because we cannot have normal visits with our loved ones they also hold regular Zoom meetings for family members to keep us up to date and informed with everything Covid related. They are the most professional yet genuine people in the healthcare industry I have met. They truly care about our loved ones and as my father still lives there, I remain ever so grateful for them.

Healthy and happy. We made the decision to keep our loved ones healthier by moving them to Langdon Place despite the pandemic. They are now safer and healthier than they have been for years, not to mention happy and well nourished. The frequent hospital visits have stopped because of the good care of the staff. Both of my parents have received excellent care at Langdon place. They have, at times, received care in the assisted living, nursing care and memory care settings. Living on the other side of the country, it has brought great comfort, knowing they have received such wonderful care from such compassionate care givers. Given these difficult times, I have found it extraordinary that they have been able to navigate this pandemic safely, following stringent protocols, organizing telemedicine appts, and providing weekly communication with families via email and zoom meetings, thus keeping our loved ones safe and the families informed. Our experience with Langdon Place has been nothing but positive. Within hours of a referral there for rehab help for a family member, Jenny was in touch and helping to walk me through a process with which I had no experience. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and professional. Everyone is accomodating to the needs of the patient and his-her family. A difficult situation was made much easier because of the people and facilities of Landgdon Place.

This is a wonderful facility to come to and be cared for. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is tasty with many options, the therapy department gets you back on your feet, and there are always smiling faces. You want to come here to be cared for and nursed back to health!

He is very happy there and often favorably remarks on various aspects of his life there, especially its caring staff. LPK has done has excellent job keeping its residents safe and healthy during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as communicating with residents families about its protocols. My family has always been very grateful that our relative is at LPK and doubly so during the national health crisis. Thank you LPK!

I have been familiar with Langdon Place since my parents moved there in 2018. From day one I have been pleased with their professionalism and concern for the residents. Since the coronvirus, I have been even more impressed. They have worked tirelessly to safeguard the residents and heeding the state guidelines. They have been open and transparent with families. They go above and beyond to share information. They hold weekly conference calls so families can hear the latest news. They set up a weekly Zoom call with my mother so we can see her, because we cant visit during the virus. They have never withheld information or been reluctant to share information which I appreciate more than anything. We had a few different choices of where to place my parents when they were no longer able to live at home. I truly thank God that we chose Langdon Place.

My 94 y-o mother was there for 80 days with fractured humerus in the Skilled care unit. During her stay, there were some excellent LNAs and nurses kindly caring for her. And high praise to the Rehab group for getting her up and moving and her strength back so she could return to her Assisted Living facility elsewhere. I do feel there could be better communication-coordination between the different departments and shifts. The Dietary department, however, is appalling and needs an overhaul as it concerns the skilled care dining room. Completed menus by residents or family were very often not followed and mistakes were many. Sandwiches in warming units were limp or soggy from being steamed and difficult for residents to pick up. Food needing mayonnaise, ketchup, salad dressing, salsa was frequently not sent with meals and nursing had to call kitchen daily, often more than once during the particular meal, not only for condiments, but also for the correct meal ordered for resident. There was no ice machine in the skilled kitchen area so when ice was not delivered by dietary for the meal, nursing had to walk down to the nurses station to get ice. I also do not feel the kitchen area was particularly clean. And the refrigerator could be better stocked daily with items nursing needs for meal times...a simple checklist on the outside checked daily would work. Nursing wastes too much precious nursing time getting items missed by dietary.

Langdon Place of Keene offers amazing care. Their memory support unit has such an amazing staff that offers support to the person with dementia as well as the family members. I cant say enough good things about them. If your loved one needs memory support care, you cant do better than Langdon Place of Keene

Langdon place received an A- from my mother. Super clean, provided for everything she needs. Close to where she lives now. Unfortunately a studio is not available at this time and an efficiency is above her price range.

I came here from the hospital to learn to walk again after IVIG treatments. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They do their jobs and I appreciate that. The food is good. The physical and occupational therapy staff work very hard to get you back on your feet. Everyone is concerned with your care there and make sure you have all of your appointments, medications and home care (if needed) before you discharge. I would definitely recommend genesis langdon place of keene for rehab services.
