This review is a long time coming! My mother was cared for at new perspectives and I could not have asked for a better place. From all levels of management to caretaking and nursing, hospice to food service to maintenance. The care comes from the heart and there’s always someone to help you through whatever you need. The caregivers that are there are there because they’re amazing and management has chosen the best ones to care for your loved ones That’s the most important thing. I still visit there every once in a while and see very friendly faces and people who give me hugs and I hug them back because we all know what we’ve all been through. Thank you New perspectives!!!thank you to everyone who takes care of our loved ones with love and dedication.

Took a tour there in May. Beautiful building. The staff and residents were all welcoming and answered any questions that I had. I wouldn't change a thing about the building. I especially was drawn into the accessibility to antenna connection as that is a big deal for me. You can even eat in your room which I like as well. Beautiful place for folks to reside.

New Perspective Island Shores is a wonderful community with one of the most beautiful settings. The dining room and many of the apartments overlook the Fox River, creating stunning views for residents to enjoy every day. What truly makes Island Shores special is the team. Their staff has incredible longevity, and there is a strong culture of teamwork, with everyone willing to jump in and help wherever needed. The dedication, collaboration, and caring atmosphere make this a fantastic place for residents to call home.

My parents have been living at New Perspective Island Shores in Neenah for approximately one year. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone we’ve interacted with thus far has been genuinely helpful and caring, often going above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the residents are well-cared for and engaged in community activities.

I have lived at New Perspective Island Shores for one year and feel that now I can write a well thought out review.. The apartment is very nice, although I have been a little rough on it with my power wheelchair. 🙂 There are nice size windows which bring in lots of light and the outdoors. There is nothing dim or sad here! The facility is warm, welcoming and well maintained. The dining room is really pretty with windows wrapping around providing a panoramic view of the river. This is lovely in the winter, as well as spring, summer and fall. Menu offerings are good with daily specials, as well as menu options if the special does not appeal to you. Feedback and suggestions are always sought. The community area provides options to play cards, participate in arts and crafts, enjoy music performers, participate in exercise, attend church services and/or prayer group, etc. There is a TV room which is great for Packer games. There is a library and an area for jigsaw puzzles, as well as a library with a community computer. There is a Friday happy hour and shuffle board tounament. Also, there are scheduled outings to restaurants and parks. I personally have relearned cribbage and first-time learned bridge. I keep to myself when I want, but I certainly don’t have to. Residents here are involved and enjoying each other. That speaks volumes. I have MS and need a level of help that I cannot get at home. The caregivers/CNAs are kind and attentive. I can't think of any caregiver who is not kind, as well as professional. Frankly, all the staff is nice: administration, office, housekeeping, maintenance, dining, and healthcare care.

My grandmother was admitted there and it has been nothing short of royal! They cater to her, her meds are given on time, they have great meals and a wonderful dining experience. The staff are very polite and understanding. If you’re looking for a place for a loved one, this place is wonderful!

Island Shores assistant living facility is wonderful. My mother and father live here. The apartments are nice and the location is perfect, right by the water. They have wonderful activities, and the staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. I would highly recommend this assistant living facility.

Highly recommend for Senior Living - my mom is currently a resident at New Perspectives Island Shores and A+ goes to all care givers, culinary services, enrichment and activity staff, cleaning services, reception, and all volunteers!!! Exceptional leadership as the Executive Director and her staff are on it! Everyone is kind, caring and skilled. Beautiful environment, clean and engaging. Thank you all!!

Island Shores has been home to my dad since July of 2017. It has truly helped him become healthier & happier. He has been most impressed with dining & activities. I love the consistent care he receives. I can’t wait for visiting to open up safely again.

The staff here was very helpful and helping me unload a resident that I picked up from the ER while driving a taxi cab service. I've been to many Assisted Living places and that's generally not the case. Does a taxi cab service we are just there to give people rides from point A to point B. But we always help out Theda care Regional Hospital emergency room with getting patients back to their residence.
