I visited an old family friend here at Hearthstone Beaverton. He's 94, and been here only two months. He was able to have us for dinner in the separate dining area! He was so proud. There were 7 of us and he sat at the head of the table, just beaming. Julia waited on us and she made our dinner so special. My friend is very happy here. The staff is wonderful!

Words cannot express my family's appreciation to Hearthstone for the exceptional care that was provided to my Mother during her stay there. The staff is A+ in their approach to providing an environment that is enriching to the residents and focuses on aging with dignity. I want to give recognition to several of the outstanding employees at Hearthstone. Beth who made herself available to my family with any updates on my Mother's progress settling in and giving her support throughout her stay, Nick at the front desk who always has a smile and a laugh making us feel welcome in the facility, and Will who went above and beyond in his care for the facility and always willing to help. I highly recommend Hearthstone of Beaverton if you want a quality home that provides stimulating activities, a clean well kept environment and a loving caring staff for your loved one. Look no further this is the place!

Staff is amazing. The feeling of warmth and comfort is quite evident from the staff. My mom has fit right in to this community. A lot of activities and she has made many friends. My only concern is the housekeeping. I do need to stay up on the condition of her apartment to include laundry and clean sheets. They are working on it. A work in progress. 6/24 update improvements made. Mom is very happy. The quality of care is great.

My mother and I toured eight assisted living facilities before choosing Hearthstone of Beaverton. Mom, who was reluctantly looking "for when the time comes," liked Hearthstone the best because of its smaller size, quiet location and family feeling. Mom moved into Hearthstone three months ago. Honestly, she had a bumpy time at first, missing her home and independence. Through this period, other residents shared how hard it was for them at first but how, after a month or so, they were able to relax and enjoy having delicious meals made for them (with no dishes to do!), fun activities just down the hall, and a community of loving staff and fellow residents around them. Staff could not have been more supportive during this period, staying in contact with me and brainstorming ways to help my mom with the adjustment. Sure enough, after a couple of months, Mom tells me how well taken care of she feels at Hearthstone. She loves her spacious apartment. She is getting more exercise because she feels safe walking there. She is socializing much more than she was at home because doing so just entails opening her front door, rather than making arrangements and driving. I can't imagine a better place for her to be living--thank you, Hearthstone!

My mom is very happy at Hearthstone. She has made some good friends. There have been times when her room hasn't been cleaned the way she likes but lately she has been happy. My mom has always been a neat nick so that is part of the issue. We do wonder about the high turnover of workers.

My sister has lived here for 3 1/2 months now. And she says, "I love, love, love it here! Everyone is so nice and so helpful and so welcoming!" I can only second her sentiments. The staff is always friendly and even know many of our multi-family members by name. Everthing is clean, open and bright throughout. They emphasize to the residents that this their home. There are several daily activities, to choose from - thanks to the creative Activities Director, Shannon, including outings in the community. Help is always graciously offered at the welcome desk by Nick and Suzanne. The food choices are delicious and varied. The Dining Room staff is attentive and knows everyone by name as well as their food preferences. Julie comes to mind. Every request is considered and fulfilled - if possible. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Hearthstone - but I tried!

Moving a family member from their home because they can no longer care for themselves is always challenging. The staff of Hearthstone of Beaverton helped us navigate this process with warmth, care, and improving the well-being of our family member. Our family moved my sister-in-law to Hearthstone of Beaverton. From day one, my sister-in-law and our family were impressed with the entire staff, the beautiful home, and her welcoming room. We all received a warm welcome and met the staff who assured our family that she would be well cared for. She has made quick friends and is now known as "the life of the party".(No surprise to our family!) Each day is a new adventure with activities, movies, field trips, spending time in the beautiful outside courtyard, and a monthly dining-out experience. She is always eager to join in the fun! It has been a few months, and I asked my sister-in-law how things were going. She told me she was happy, cared for, felt safe, and glad she made the move. I knew we made the right decision! When I visit, Shannon and the entire staff greet me warmly, and it is clear they all genuinely love what they do for the residents.

My mom has lived here for 6 months now. This is not a large, corporate owned place. It is a smaller, family feeling, loving and caring environment. It is very clean, the care is amazing. Everyone knows you by name. They know my mom likes strawberry ice cream each day after lunch. I like that it's flexible, depending on the care needs and addressing changing needs is no problem. The staff is very responsive to any issues that arise. The courtyard/garden is lovely and well maintained. My mom loves to walk the loop. Her apartment is lovely with a garden view and high ceilings. There are activities, music, daily devotions. All are encouraged and welcome to engage. Main thing is the quality, loving care in a clean, fresh, safe environment. I highly recommend.

I worked here for just under a year and only left to pursue a masters degree in teaching. I worked the day shift (6-2) as a caregiver and had the best day-shift coworkers, who truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to ensure the residents have their physical and emotional needs met. Sarah is a career caregiver and is the best caregiver I have met and she is a fantastic coworker (unless she feels you are going to be a neglectful or lazy coworker, in which case she will let you know that you’re in the wrong field). The care coordinator, Katrise, is also fantastic and you can hear her laugh from the opposite end of the facility. Like so many other places after covid, there were some staff shortages but the caregivers worked hard to ensure the resident’s needs were still met. I miss the residents and am not so sure I will enjoy teaching more than I enjoyed caregiving, but the time I spent there was a blessing.

Hearthstone is a specially good care facility. I volunteer there for morning devotions once a week and musical events every two months.

We moved my mom to Hearthstone after my dad passed away. We chose Hearthstone of Beaverton because it was a smaller place with a homey feel. My mom fit right in and even with her dementia she was able to navigate around. The staff was wonderful and caring. We appreciated that they always made sure she was included and she enjoyed the exercise classes, art classes, church services and so much more. We are sad that she only had 4 months here before passing away as she was enjoying herself and really blossoming. Thank you Hearthstone staff for all your care.

My mother lived at Hearthstone of Beaverton for 2 1/2 years. She recently passed away and I will miss the staff, residents, and overall feeling of this place. I cannot imagine a better place for her to have lived. The entire staff seems to have very low turn over and gets to know the residents well. The place is always welcoming and decorated beautifully, the activities were perfect for my mother, the secure garden area is a lovely place to wander or sit in (which she often did), and both my mom and I enjoyed the meals. I have recommended HoB to a number of friends when considering assisted living for their parents. It is a small community and when she passed, the outpouring of love for her and caring for us was sincere. I have met staff and a visiting volunteer who were there because they had a parent that lived there previously, something I completely understand.

There is an amazing group of people who run Hearthstone. It is a small facility with a warm and welcoming, homey feeling. They treat their residents like family. I can't say enough about the care my mother-in-law received. When she rang her buzzer they were there within 5 minutes to help. In the middle of the night if she was uncomfortable the nurses would rub her back with lotion to help calm her and get her back to sleep. She said more than once that she moved into the Taj Mahal. This is the go to place for anyone whom I know will need a facility such as this. When we looked at Hearthstone to move her into I thought there's no way this can be as good as they're describing. Well, I was completely wrong....it's way way better than I ever imagined.

The staff and management of Hearthstone of Beaverton of is wonderful! They are kind and considerate. They make a point to call each resident by name, and know them personally. The facility is lovely, and the enclosed large garden is magnificence. My frail, 92 year old Mother feels very safe and secure. That is worth a million dollars!!!!

The care and love at this facility is like none other that I have seen. The facility is small, welcoming and very comfortable and homey. They took such good care of my mother-in-law that this will be the only place I ever go to for friends and family who need assisted living. The staff are so caring...they treat people like family. When we toured the facility I thought there was no way e care can be that good. I was completely wrong. It was way better than I would have ever imagined. Too bad more places don't follow this places lead.

In the vary short time that I was at Hearthstone as a resident. I found that the staff, was loving, caring, genuine people. The concern for our care was evident from everybody. They all were vary willing to chat with you whatever they were doing. The joy that the staff showed lasted all day. It mattered little if they had a 12 hour shift, or just an 8 hour. If it were possible I would still be a resident at Hearthstone. Should you be looking for an Assisted Living Home, check out Hearthstone. Take a tour.
