My mother has been a resident for three months. I can honestly say I am so impressed with everything. The building is always bustling with staff that are smiling and caring for the residents. I have never witnessed any negativity or neglect. The most impactful experience is the change in my mother. She went from a poor quality of life to now thriving due to the care and attention she is receiving. I highly recommend this "home away from home"!

I visited TerraBella in Athens several times in the past year. The management team is caring. The residents appear happy. The staff talked and treated the residents with dignity . The facility was very nice and clean every time I visited. The facility is decorated well and changes often during holidays and events. There are special events to engage residents with costumes and activities. There are many other opportunities available for families and friends to participate with their loved family members.

I have an aunt who I have been looking for assisted living. It goes without saying I want her in the best care at her age. I did visit Morning Pointe and they looked nice but it didn't feel warm. When I went to Terra Bella Mindy was so inviting. Jessica showed me around and I saw the care givers smiling like they enjoyed their job. I was thoroughly impressed. I am going one more time and that will be with my aunt. It felt as much like home as an assisted living facility can, and sometimes that's the best you can hope for.

I have been so impressed with the care my Mom is receiving at TerraBella. It is small enough that each resident is well known to everyone that works there and each resident feels loved and important. Each staff member that I have had contact with has always been helpful and caring. The facility is also immaculate and beautifully decorated.

I cannot say enough about TerraBella and their staff. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. Executive Director Mendy is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with grace and kindness. The Wellness Director, Rachel always puts her staff and residents first in her decisions which is invaluable. Kerry serves in the roll as the Life Enrichment Director and keeps smiles on everyone's face with all the fun being had. The Community Relations Director, Jessica has the ability to put anyone at ease and will be your closest friend by the time you walk out the door. I have stayed with a resident as a private sitter here and I have nothing but great things to say about Terra Bella. The facility is clean and taken care of, Every single staff member we came in contact with including the nurses, cna’s, resident assistants, house keeping, are all genuinely kind, respectful, caring and overall great at their job. Mrs. Kerry, the activities director goes above and beyond for her residents here, giving them a wide variety of fun, creative activities to engage in, she gives her whole heart to her job and to every single resident. Beautiful and clean facility! I recently visited this facility to drop off items requested by their wonderful activities director, Kerry Miller. She often gets the community involved to make sure the residents there have everything they need to do all kinds of wonderful crafts and she is awesome at recruiting entertainment for them. The residents are blessed to have her. She goes above and beyond to make sure they have everything they need for their activities.

I've been to quite a few senior living facilities and TerraBella of Athens is consistently impressing me . We volunteer and come at random times and scheduled times both . The cleanliness of the facility and kindness of the staff are consistent. The residents are happy and have given reports of the great care they have experienced and that they are extremely satisfied with their living environment. If the need arises , and there should be a spot available. I would definitely consider this facility for either one of my parents it's a great place. Above all the others I've been in hands down .

My Mother in law was a resident at Terra Bella in Athens and my Mom is currently a resident. I regard the staff not as employees but as family. They do an excellent job of taking care of the residents. There is an outstanding activities program that has something for everyone. They also have many activities that include outside family members like hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for families. If you are considering assisted living for a loved one I highly recommend Terra Bella in Athens TN.

My daughter’s dance team was invited to perform for the Residents of Terra Bella Athens last week. I attended the performance and was pleasantly surprised with the welcoming atmosphere of the building and staff! I was also impressed with the amount of compassion shown by the caregivers, nurses, and Executive Director as they interacted with the Residents.

I have found the Executive Director and every member of her staff to be very approachable and easy to talk with. I feel that the staff genuinely loves and cares for the residence. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the executive director Brant, and some of the wonderful staff at Terrabella/ Athens Place. I loved watching how Brant was so visible in the community and interacted with the residents. Many of the staff have been here for years. That speaks volumes to the stability and wonderful care that is given to their residents. The building was well maintained and presented in a very homey and welcoming way. The outside grounds had an old fashioned, English garden design that was picturesque. One of the areas I was interested in seeing was their memory care wing. The residents have a lovely outdoor area to enjoy and the hallways were adorned with interactive artwork. I have never seen this before and it was impressive. I encourage you to meet the staff and tour today!

Having had my husband in the memory care ward with Alzheimer's for 2 years and my mom in the assisted living side for awhile I feel qualified to give Athens Place 5 stars + in every dept. Except for meals. I would've given that a Superior rating too up until the last few months. I know they've had staff issues with meals and the quality is not what it is was in the past. But even so I've been pleased that in spite of the challenges, this group has joined together to overcome and make sure residents still had adequate meals and felt loved. Full time staff have gone over and above to answer every question I've had. To help me connect -sometimes in creative ways- with my husband during covid restrictions. They've kept me updated on every front and I know he was not only safe, cared for, but allowed to be himself when he thought he was there to "work". I never knew anyone whom I felt was only there for the job. Athens Place is truly a dedicated team of caregivers and staff who I feel have become my other family.
