Perfect!! Everything at Whitewood is fantastic! Pet friendly at no charge. Great food and fun activities. Plus rooms are large with private baths. Care is constant. Owners are good about keeping up building, paying well for good employees etc. Parents like it better than living at home.

In 2006 my beloved aunt (and godmother, my second mom all my life) moved in with us. During that time, whenever we went on vacation, we needed somewhere for her to stay. She stayed in a couple places the first few years, but then the old Mink Hill was taken over by new owners—thank goodness! At that time, Whitewood was born and became my go-to for a place for her to stay while we were gone. I got to know about this facility and knew what a great place it was. As the years passed, and my aunts health changed, and I realized I just couldnt give her the 24-hr care she needed, I had to make the decision that no one ever wants to make—to have to put her in a facility for the rest of her life. But I knew, without a doubt, that she would receive the best care provided by the loving people at Whitewood. I never even thought of any other place for her. When she did pass away May 4, 2018, their compassion was immense. I will be forever grateful for the love and compassion, not just for her, but for us as well. One of the last times I visited after her passing, I told them that they had better take care of themselves because I expect them to be here when and if I ever need a place to go! It is now almost a year since my aunts passing, and I miss her every day , but I will forever be grateful to them for the compassion and dignity they gave to all of us in her last days! A 5-star review for sure!

BEST ASSISTED LIVING!!!! Dads been there for 3 years and the staff (new people run it now) is amazing!!!!! Facility always clean, no bad odor. Better than any assisted living in area. I think bad reviews are lies put up by competitors because they aren't true. Staff is 3 or 4 residents to 1 caregiver, so dad gets alot of attention. Activities. Great food. Great management and fair prices.

I never in a million years would had though we would need to put a family member into a facility. We could always rest assure my grandmother was in the best care!! Than it came to the final days of my grandmother life and not only were they so compassionate to her. They opened their door and heart to me and my family. Made us feel at home and took care of us as well!! Although I hope I dont need this for a very long time again. Dealing with a family member with the need of round the clock care I highly recommend Whitewood Assisted Living. The care for my fragile grandmother and made her a part of their family. We couldnt have been more blessed to have such great care!! Thank you ladies for all you do!! We love you!! 5star

I highly recommend Whitewood. They took excellent care of my father. They are a small facility, which is a huge plus in my view, as everyone gets hands on personalized care.
