My mother has been here for over 2 years, I visit her regularly and she has always been well taken care of. This is the third place she has been in (and the longest) and never seen her neglected (something I can’t say of other places she lived at) I go unannounced and the place is always clean and all the residents well taken care of. I have seen the food they eat always homemade and from scratch. I thank the owner and the caregivers that give my mom love and care. It gives me peace of mind to know that I can be at work and take care of my family without worrying about her the days I can’t go.

If you have more money to spend for your loved one's care, avoid Bella Nova Villa II. If, like us, funds limit your choice, beware. The owner lacked integrity on more than one occasion and wasn't always honest. Whatever she agrees to do for care, get in detailed writing before signing anything. Educate yourself on California laws regarding patient rights in residential care. Be prepared to monitor medication yourself. Also be prepared to supplement the full cost of boarding with the cost of food for special diets. Our family member was vegetarian. The food quality was appalling - tortillas and cheese most days. Staff members, except for a few, were substandard. At night the lack of English-speaking employees was dangerous. The skill level also dropped drastically at night. Lastly, the place was not clean. We found layers of dust and dirt over everything when vacating the room. It was disgusting. If you can, choose a place other than this. You'll sleep better at night.

After looking for a 24 hour skilled nursing small care home , we were blessed to find Bella Nova. The owner and staff treated our father with dignity and honor. They made us feel part of the Bella Nova family. The compassion and care shown my father was stellar. Thank you to Maria and the staff at Bella Nova.

We looked at several places before placing my mother at Bella Nova Villa. The staff, are knowledgeable, caring compassionate. My mother has severe dementia, sundowners behavior. The owner has advocated so much to help my mother cope with her anxiety and hallucinations. She is constantly in contact with Kaiser adjusting medications. We could not have chosen a better home for my mother. Thank you for your hard work. Bella Nova Team.

I see a comment saying that the owner supposedly extorted money. However, I can assure you that this is false, and possibly even a conflict of interest after having my father at Bella nova Villa for two years. The staff and owner are nothing but friendly, caring, and on top of all of their duties. Every month after paying for my father’s room, I would always get faxed receipts. Not one time was the owner ever late. Shame on you for trying to go after such a hard-working facility.

We used a few different care giver services for my older grandmother. Bella Nova is by far the best around! Their staff is honest and communicative, they provide great service. I also asked a couple of favors and the supervisor was very sweet and accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better home care. I felt 100% safe to have my grandmother with their care givers. Highly recommend!!

We looked long and hard for a compassionate and patient caregiver for my grandmother. After getting referred to Bella Nova Villa and paying a visit, as a family, we met with Maria (the owner) and could tell she truly cares about the residents. Maria communicated constantly with us and updated us on anything that needed to be addressed. My grandma loved her time here and I know her care could not have been better. If you are looking for an easy transition for your loved one and like us the thought of putting them in a care facility is terrifying, this is the place for you. You will feel at ease from the first day and your mom or dad or grandparents will enjoy the family atmosphere and light hearted nurses that make being cared for so so much easier.
