It is such a,beautiful place of love and sharing. You are offered such comfort and care during your illness. Family is so very welcome and are kept informed as to your health and activities. Marianne and staff are such sweet and accommodating caregivers.

The Assisted Living of Durand, in my opinion, is an excellent facility. My sister lived there for eight years. We were so fortunate to have her with Marianne and Doug, she was treated like family and so were we. Since my sister had a disability we were blessed that Marianne took the time to care for her and had the patience to teach her many things. I certainly could see that the staff and residents loved her. It was comforting to know that she was so well taken care of, we could not have asked for anything more. The assisted living of Durand was her home and she loved it there. This facility is well equipped to take care of all your needs.

I would highly recommend assisted living as a choice for families to place there loved ones. Exceptional love and caring was provided to our Mother in her last month's. We were always welcomed and truly treated as family by the entire staff. Thank you to all of them for making our Mom happy!!!!

If you have a family member that needs some extra care, I would recommend this place 100%. I felt completely at ease knowing what great care my mom was receiving 24/7. They tend to your needs plus you are treated like family. You feel like you are in your own home. You are informed and kept up on any changes that may occur in your family member. Marriane helped us through the good and the bad times. She helped the last moments of our mother's life a little easier to deal with. We could never thank Marriane and her team enough for all they did for our mom and our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

If your looking for a place to take your loved one I highly recommend the Assisted Living of Durand! Marianne is wonderful with each one of them. She treats and loves them as they are her own family!! I had the pleasure to work here for almost 10 years and enjoyed meeting each person that came. They all will hold a place in my heart.

I've known Marianne for years, worked for her, and encouraged my Mom to go to Mar's Assisted Living of Durand when she could no longer live alone. It was the perfect place for Mom because Mar and her staff treat all of their clients as FAMILY, and that makes all the difference in the world! I'd recommend the Assisted Living of Durand to any family that wants a loved one to have very personal attention in a loving home setting.

If I could give Assisted Living of Durand 10 stars I would. In the time my father spent at Assisted Living of Durand we felt at ease knowing he was in good hands. The staff always treated him with the love and care he needed and made us feel like we were a part of their family. Living 500 miles away was not easy for us, you always want the best care for your loved ones. I think often about all the special things that ALD did to make Louis' time special, even having a live Polka Band in the street and inviting the whole town to join in the fun. But by far the most special moment was having Marianne by our side during my father's surgery. That is when you realize that for everyone at Assisted Living of Durand, it's not just a job, it is so much more.

I can not say enough good about the Assisted living of Durand! My Grandma was very fortunate to live here in this beautiful home setting which I believe gave us extra years with her do to the care she received! Marianne and her staff care deeply about everyone they get the opportunity to care for and they become family. They go above and beyond what I ever imagined. Marianne is all about making memories with loved ones, Every time I would visit Grandma with my young kids we were all welcomed in and treated? like family. Then when it came down to our last week/ days with grandma Marianne still went above in beyond to help us and her through it in any way she could. I know I found comfort in her and very much appreciate her for everything she has done for our family over the years!

Mar and her staff helped my Dad through some very difficult years at the end of life. She showed him and the other residents a great love and treated him like family. If you need a place for a loved one, please consider stopping by for a visit.

My father suffered from dementia, but thank God we found Assisted Living of Durand. This is not some cold, sterile nursing home, but rather a warm, family setting that is actually a home. Dad was treated like family by Mar and her wonderful staff, and we were able to stay in very nice guest quarters when we came to visit. Mar Van Stedum helped our family through tough times through patience, compassion, and took very special care of our father in his time of need.
