I am very impressed with this location. My Dad is now a resident here. The food is good, staff is friendly. Met the director who was very welcoming and I was impressed with her. Cody is awesome. He has gone above and beyond with the help he has provided my Dad and with this transition to Brookdale. Finally I would like to also thank Bri, she has made my Dad feel safe and welcome. She is also to be commented for her above and beyond attention to detail. 9/20/2023. I would like to thank Harjot (Happy) she is very dedicated, caring and helpful with my dad and other residents. She should be commended for a job well done.

Shout out for the program coordinator Stephanie!! She is absolutely amazing she truly cares for the residents and has made their lives that much brighter can't wait to see what she does next! Minus one star for the clueless Director of the facility she does not know what she's doing and does not have time for the residents, so sad.

Everyone here deserves five stars - I inspected 16 various facilities before choosing Brookdale. Not the cheapest, but proof that you get what you pay for. Thanks 2 the staff (specifically Luz, Rudy, Francisco, Patti & Jeri) as well as the residents who have made MOM feel so welcome. This was intended as a 90 day respite care for me (sole caregiver for last 8yrs.). Mom has asked if we can afford for her to stay longer (Yea!!!). At 94yrs old Mom's quality of life has Improved GREATLY (& now, so has mine). She Eats Better, Sleeps Better, has become a Social Butterfly & has taken up Hobbies (before it was Eat, Sleep, & Poop - that last activity was unpredictable...). Brookdale will eventually be my future home too.

A must place to visit if you are looking for a forever home for your loved one. Received a warm and friendly greeting by the staff. From the Executive Director, Sales, and the staff that I met everyone had a smile! I visited during lunch and let me tell you the food looked amazing! I didn't feel pressured or felt that I needed to make a decision right away. The community has a warm and inviting feeling. I saw the courtyard's renovations and I can already see it's going to turn out beautiful. Thank you for the tour and definitely considering.

The food is amazing the staff is wonderful and always willing to help the residents seem content and friendly. As a former employee myself the Executive director is completely unprofessional. She speaks badly about her subordinates. They pitch this we are family and team but their own leader is tearing employees down not because they’ve done anything wrong but simply because she doesn’t like them. Everyone works hard for the residents while she hides in her office all day, at least she’s easy to find. Bad leadership leads to losing great employees and I hope my fellow co workers have found a place that treats them with respect!

Visited today with my mother for a tour and was greeted by Luz, a warm kindhearted receptionist, very polite. Director Jeri Miles was very professional and extremely helpful along with sales team Cody and Kelly. They answered all the questions we had and were very informative. Residents were happy and looked well looked after by the caregivers. Staff were professional and polite to everyone. The renovations in the courtyard look wonderful not to mention the food looks amazing! They have their own diner with servers, table side service and if needed they also do room service. Definitely considering Brookdale.

I've lived here 6 months. I like the location, the area, the neighborhood and there isn't a lot of graffiti in this section. We have plenty of stores around to walk to and see. Even though you'll hear some complaints, I can see the people here really are trying to help. They work to try and do their best.

Mary (the former activities director of 21 years) immediately made us feel at home! All the residents we passed by said hello and let us know how well they like it there. We met the chef and tasted his delicious dessert for that night. The front reception staff know who the residents are and who comes to see their loved ones regularly! My dad, in the 3 months he's been here, has made a few friends. Enjoys playing bingo and some of the card games. He calls it home now.

Brookdale has been a great experience for my 100 year old grandmother. I was terrified to have her live anywhere but with me but I didnt have the space or resources to keep her safe anymore. Brookdale has made her new home welcome. Its been a year now and she fits in nicely! The care team is AMAZING! Big extra thanks to Joanne and several others who make it special for her and for my family to feel comfortable❤

My family member had been a resident nearly 10 yrs at this facility, in which they made the decision, nearing 90, that an assisted living would be the best environment. One comment I hear often is how enjoyable being able to help with meal planning is for those who want a say in what is served. The staff is always friendly and saying hello. Often I feel like they treat me and my son like family (since we are always there). The involvement and volunteer opportunity helps the community greatly. Also I often hear stories of the older gentleman who are such charmers and the ladies and the catty behaviors some have... it sounds like the dorms at college. And YES some of the residents still do the old sock on the doorknob routine. I am beyond grateful to this facility and the only comments against them would be that it is expensive! (Any other suggestions have already been made to the people in charge) The life is what you make of it and many people learn to love the daily interactions this place offers!

My dad lived at Brookdale Garden Grove. The director there was totally awesome!! His experience there was excellent. The staff took very good care of him. We only moved him to bring him closer to his family. We will miss Pamela!!

Most of the staff are good, caring people. I really liked the set up and the fact my mom could keep her cats. We did have an issue with theft so cant give them more than three stars.

We loved it! My sister and I agreed that this is the place for my honey (my wife).it is new and bright... just the right size... max of 26 residents if all 13 rooms are shared. All the caregivers are women and they have all been trained in caring for Alzheimers patients. Rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are the best... comfortable and easy for the caregivers to help the residents take a shower. I am starting the paperwork tomorrow. It only took me 15 minutes to to get there from home!

I highly recommend this facility to other families looking for a location for their loved ones. The staff team held my hand and took the time to go through everything with me. They have an Alzheimers support group, plenty of activities, and a nice dining area. From what I have seen they have a variety of choices. For the activities the staff takes their residents to random outings like movies and restaurants. They also offer transportation services for those wanting a ride to their doctors appointments.

I took a tour here when I was trying to find a place for my loved one and I felt like maybe we wasted each others time. I was told that the room was one price at the beginning of the tour, but then everything else is a la cart almost, like everything is an additional cost. I kind of wish they had been straight forward about that at the very beginning. The person that gave me the tour seemed knowledgeable and nice, so theres nothing bad to say about them in that aspect. The facility looked a lot nicer than some other places, but there was a big price difference.

I am beyond thrilled at how well my husband is doing here. He has surprised me in how well he has adjusted to his new surroundings. He is starting to mingle and interact with the other residents. He is doing some of the activities he is physically able to do he is just enjoying himself there which makes me extremely happy. He loves the food. The staff is amazing they are so nice and kind very accommodating. The community itself is lovely very bright and clean. I may have chosen another community over this one but because at the time they were offering a move in special I couldn't pass it up especially considering this community is much further than I wanted to travel.

Michael Bender, Memory Care Program Director goes above and beyond to take care of his Residents and treats the loved ones as we are his family and he is ours. Definetly and asset to the Brokdale Staff. At some point I hope that the Brookdale staff become a team.

Mom has been there a few times for Respite Care. We would love for her to move in there. The staff is very loving ,caring, and supportive.
