Words is alone cannot express the gratitude I have for Spring Oak at York. Not only did they jump in and help me get my father in last minute after another place fell through, But my dad is so extremely happy. The staff, and residents are so kind, so thoughtful, and put my heart to rest, as a daughter, knowing that her father is thriving in a new environment and down this new path. Today Spring Oaks took about 7 residents fishing, my dad being one of them. The pictures filled my heart, seeing my dad so happy. If you need to think of somewhere to go for assisted-living, think no further Spring Oak at York is exactly your place!!

The staff at Spring Oak has been wonderful to us. Nathan, Francine, Linda, Tammy, Kim, Lexi, Daisy and all the others have been very caring and compassionate to my mother. I have received text messages every morning during the first week to give me an update on mom's nighttime status. The rooms are nice and the food is great. I can't say thank you enough for helping us with this move. I feel my mother is in good hands. Thanks Spring Oak!

I have only been to this facility this week. My aunt is a resident here and when I came in from Minnesota this week I wanted to go see her, everyday the same friendly girl(Amanda) came in at 7 and told my aunt her name and that if she needed anything to let her know. Sometimes Amanda came with medicine others she came with just water or juice and food. My aunt said everytime this girl works that she comes in with a smile, kisses her forehead and asks if she needs anything. She also tells her that if she does to let her know and that she will get it for her. My aunt said she had never seen someone care so much about her residents or the way that people feel. Also Teresa is amazing she always makes sure my aunt is take.n care of whenever she comes in. Both these ladies go above and beyond to make sure people are comfortable in their home and it is extremely comforting to know that they care so much.

Honestly, this facility (Carolina Gardens-York) isnt too bad. Assisted living facilities are basically all the same. I have been affiliated with many different facilities; over a 25 year period; from high end to low end. What makes the difference is the staff! The staff at this facility care about the residents! They know residents by first name and are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate them! Their response during the pandemic has been phenomenal! Communication was a little spotty in the beginning but once they worked out all the kinks; I saw improvements daily. I applaud all the staff for juggling the care of the residents during COVID! Thank you for caring for our loved ones!

This community is working out well for my mother since her move here. She is doing a lot better, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. She has gained some weight, and her health is improving. She has a doctor there on site at the community. Everything is working out well, and I would recommend this community.

We toured this community for care. We liked the staff that seems to be very helpful. This is a close location for me to visit. We were happy that the community was clean. They do have activities and everyone likes too. They have a nice variety of meals. We would suggest families tour this community for the care of a loved one
