Horrible place! Most of the caregivers are great, but the management is awful. My mother with Alzheimer's experienced terrible things including sexual abuse by a male resident, which the management felt was fine because "they're adults", but they were both adults with dementia. He shouldn't have been allowed to take her into his room and lock the door. He also caused injuries to her. These and other incidents are logged in their own words in a daily log. An employee totally rearranged my mom's room one time - so confusing! Items were stolen. Many medical administration errors. They're chronically understaffed due to poor management and very low pay. The food is very carb-heavy with hardly any fresh fruits & vegetables. If you're considering this place for someone you love, please think again for their sake. I have moved my mom somewhere safe.

The care for my elderly mother with Alzheimer's by the staff at BeeHive Homes has been exemplary. She was welcomed with love and continues to enjoy life even with cognitive decline. They respectfully support her needs including social interaction, medical, hygiene, meals and safety. Our family feels blessed to have found a place that is joyful and full of life where she can feel at home.

The people at this wonderful place made my fathers last days meaningful, comfortable, and filled with love. His caretakers were empathetic and treated us as family during a very difficult time. I moved my dad to the Edgewood Behive in July 2017. He was at Bear Canyon in Albuquerque after a stay in the hospital, at Bear Canyon he was neglected and got a huge bed sore, they never bathed him, he was total care. I had to get him out of there! The beautiful people at the Edgewood Beehive were awesome! They ARE NOT A MEDICAL FACILITY, they are an assisted living home. Armada Hospice, another awesome company sent nurses and aides to care for my dads medical needs. He was treated with kindness and respect in his final days on this earth while he was at the Behive Home! I highly recommend them for a place for your loved ones that cannot care for themselves at home! I visited at least twice daily during the time my dad was there and never once heard or saw any disrespect of any residents.

I have been in long term care for 20+ years when I started working here I was amazed at how well run and organized the building are,the residents are very well taken care of compared to most "nursing homes" they are unlike any other place I've worked in my career. If you are in the surrounding area and need this type of care this is the place to be.

There is a new Administrator that has a huge heart. I think it starts from the top and trickles down. Ive been to the BeeHive numerous times since the new Administrator started and experience nothing but love and compassion. The bad weeds are gone and new staff are there provide care and love to the residents and their families.

Just over two years ago, I moved my husband (who was living with Alzheimers) from a VERY neglectful care facility in Albuquerque to Beehive Homes of Edgewood. He has his heavenly birth the end of Feb. 2013. While he was al Beehive, I spent several nights with him. His care day AND NIGHT was wonderful. I now volunteer with his therpy dog and have had several Hospice patients at Beehive. The care continues to be given with love and patience. I strongly recommend this loving facility to families who are unable to keep their loved one at home and want a Safe home-like atmosphere.
