Yama house was a godsend for me and my mom. Ama, Bill and the entire staff were truly partners in my mom's care. They were accessible and accommodating through every stage of my mom's journey. She had terrible wounds from a surgery and the improvement I saw in them during her time there was nothing short of miraculous. Ama was skilled and meticulous in caring for them. They were all so kind to my mom as well as to me as I was navigating her care. They catered to her requests in a way that was heartwarming to me. During the holidays the house was nicely decorated and they made special meals. They were always welcoming to me and to my Mom's visitors. In the beginning my mom had a busy schedule of physical, occupational and speech therapy. They worked with all of her therapists and always had her ready for therapy. All of the visiting therapists remarked that the staff was kind, competent and easy to work with. As she declined and went into hospice, they assisted me in making those arrangements and again, worked seamlessly with the hospice provider to provide the best possible care and make my mom as comfortable as possible. I am beyond grateful for Ama and Bill, Yama House, and their staff of caregivers.

Yama Adult services was an excellent choice for my father. Ama and her staff were always very friendly, caring and professional. The home was always very clean and organized. I was always well informed of any needs or changes that my father. I highly recommend Yama Service.

Yama House was a wonderful place for my mom . During her time living there, the staff was always kind, professional, and respectful. My mom lived in the newly acquired second house which was nicely updated, bright and always spotless. Since the facility is small, we were allowed scheduled visits during the Covid crisis which was a godsend for my mom and my family as most facilities have been quarantined for months now. Ama, the owner, always took time to chat on my visits and kept me updated on her status. She was very kind and supportive during moms declining weeks and eventual death. My mom was well taken care of, and I am grateful for the concern for her well being given by all the staff.

The agency was the best thing I ever could do for my dad. He was placed in her home services and I can truly say that he was treated with love respect and dignity . This was during the highest part of COVID 19 and not one of her clients were lost. She locked down and made sure everyone was safe Thank you Yama

My mother was a resident at YAMA House from 4/29/15 until her death on 7/13 of this year. During this time, she was well taken care of and treated with kindness, compassion and respect. I always felt confident that when I couldn't go, I need not worry. The home was always clean, tidy and welcoming! My family came to love and admire Bill, Ama, Mary and Mary and we miss them all very much. I thank God for guiding us to YAMA Services when we had no idea where to turn. I highly recommend them to care for your loved ones!
