Everyone can imagine that needing help for a parent who is suffering from dementia is an incredibly DIFFICULT situation. You hear of horror stories of assisted living places, and I feared I could never find an acceptable place for my Dad. I stopped in on a Saturday just to inquire, and was greeted with kindness & care! I was incredibly impressed by how Clean, warm and welcoming it was!! I left my phone number for the Leasing Coordinator to call, and when she spoke to me I was BLOWN AWAY!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE it got even BETTER! Amber and her entire staff WELCOMED me and my Father as if we were FAMILY! Amber went ABOVE & BEYOND to meet our families needs!! She took the time to talk to myself & my family answering all our concerns and questions, no matter what day or what time. I cannot Thank her enough for the help she provided & I know without a DOUBT this is the BEST PLACE in Florida for anyone in need of help with a family member or friend in need! Grand Villa is a warm and welcoming place and it has been a wonderful experience for my father. The staff and caregivers are wonderful and it warns my heart to know that he being well taken care off. Grand Villa made the transition very smooth for my father and that was extremely comforting since my siblings and I are not local. I recently visit my father with my daughter and she commented on how happy my father is and how wonderful all the caregivers are to him. I am very pleased that they take the time to talk to me every time I call and inform me of how he is doing. It is very comforting to be able to be able to check on my father at any time of the day. I would like to extend a special thank you to the activity director in memory care. They are always available to talk and give us updates and they made the transition smooth for my father. I was able to see what activities they have as well as sample lunch. Although it is further away then we'd hope, this is our favorite community thus far.

I enjoyed this past Christmas with my family in North Florida for 8 days. On my first morning there, my son prepared me a delicious breakfast but, there was no fruit garnish on the plate. When I asked about the garnish, he told me that I was not at Grand Villa of Palm Coast so there would be no garnish. We laughed! Then it was time for lunch and we had some roasted turkey leftover so we decided to have turkey sandwiches. Then it dawned on me that he expected me to make my sandwich myself. Then he announced that I could just take my dishes to the sink. We laughed again that I was not at Grand Villa! I have resided at Grand Villa of Palm Coast for 18 months and I am served elegant dishes with garnishes, I do not prepare any food at all because the meal costs are part of the rent, and, I certainly am not expected to clear the table. The servers, CNAs and Med-Techs and in fact, even the executive director, pamper all of the residents, not only at mealtimes but also at other times. And less I forget, our activities director always has fun, entertaining and/or educational events to fill each day. Grand Villa does look like my home and it feels like home-in fact, better than home. My son has challenged me to thank each person that pampers me to tell them how much I appreciate all they do to make me feel like Grand Villa is my home. I have accepted his challenge and suggest you plan a tour to see for yourself what a great place it is to live at Grand Villa of Palm Coast.

My husband and I toured the facility and moved my mom almost immediately. Everyone was so very helpful in working with the hospital to facilitate the move. She loves it there and is acclimating nicely. The facility is nice, the apartments are nice.

I had been watching my mother decline in her abilities to live alone and my search led me to Grand Villa of Palm Coast. I knew the day that I toured the facility and spoke extensively with Amber the leasing coordinator that this was the place for my mom. Amber and her staff have lived up to my expectation and mostly exceeded them. Moving day came for my mom and the bed I had ordered for her had been delivered the day before but the "pro" who was supposed to put it together cancelled at the last minute I texted Amber not knowing how I was going to overcome this obstacle and she responded with a message saying she would take care of it. Her maintenance director put the bed together before we arrived and the day was saved. That seems to be the philosophy of this facility - someone will take care of whatever issue it is from the housekeeping to the medical personnel and every other function the place has a very "can do" attitude. I am extremely satisfied with my choice to move my mom to Grand Villa of Palm Coast.

I toured the community recently, looking at options for a neighbor. Although this is not the right level of care for her, the community presented beautifully. I was able to meet with Amber, the leasing person and she was very knowledgeable and kind, she was able to direct me where I needed to go. While touring, I was met by the director Timm, he helped me understand what Grand Villa is all about and I left feeling empowered to find the right place for my friend. Highly recommend if you need this level of care.

I have an acquaintance at this community, I was visiting recently and I had to leave a comment. The community was very clean and well maintained but above all else, the staff of the community were so engaged with the residents and seem to know them well, what I observed was exactly what should be happening across every senior living community. Hands down, the cleanest, most positive and supportive assisted living facility in Palm Coast. I recently moved my disabled father to Grand Villa and could not be happier with the staff and environment. Collectively, they’ve made his transition a breeze. They’re easy to communicate with and eager to learn their residents. Their overall approach is to assist with purpose, encouraging their residents to age with dignity and independence. Very blessed and fortunate to find a place like Grand Villa! The staff has been so accommodating and actually care for the well being of their residents. My mom is happy and thriving and especially loves all the activities that are scheduled and planned each month. A few months ago we began the emotionally challenging process of transitioning our parents from their home to a facility where they would more easily have their needs met. We began searching for a facility where we felt our parents would thrive. We visited three facilities in the area. While they all had something to offer, we immediately knew when we drove into Grand Villa that we had found what we were looking for. The tour with Amber was informative and only served to confirm our initial impression. Our parents have now been full time residents at Grand Villa for two months, and are as happy as we hoped they’d be. Their apartment is cleaned, laundry is washed, and they get three full meals a day. They see the doctor weekly, and get their medication administered daily. While we are local and are involved in their daily routine, it’s a relief to know that they are well cared for, and that if we need to, we can travel without fear for their safety and security. Everyone at Grand Villa that we have had the pleasure to work with has been professional and responsive. We highly recommend this facility.

What can I say about Grand Villa? I've been here six weeks now, and I LOVE it. I am in a Villa, and it is amazing. The staff is so responsive to my requests. The other residents are fantastic. I can be as busy as I want to be with everything that is happening here, or I can just hang back at my place. I can have three cooked meals, or I can prepare my own in my full kitchen (who am I kidding? I don't cook all that much!). My dog and I are so happy here. First of all, I have never been treated so respectfully anywhere I’ve been in my life I moved in here in mid December. I’m 61 years old. I moved from South Florida to here because South Florida is not what I moved to in 1988. There’s crime there’s shootings and one shooting happen about 3 miles from my home. I said I have to get out of here and since coming to grand Villa, I rarely think of where I came from the staff is amazing. The Director is incredibly amazing and more than that. Is this person who didn’t have to convince me about this place, but has been the most in touch with me since I’ve been here and when I wasn’t here yet, and we had regular conversations almost on a daily, it was like I would call and if she was busy I could text her and she would respond to me almost immediately never more than three minutes. Amber is a great addition to this facility as well as Tim the Director the restaurant staff and the people what are what makes this place a jewel I use a place for mom as my search engine and I want to tell you that Desiree in Boca is a outstanding representative of a place for mom. And with Ambers help I have really made this my home Palm Coast is a wonderful place to live people say well how long are you gonna be there? I said I feel safe and secure and the people are very nice. I have no reason to leave there’s wild turkeys that are walking around the property. I’m not saying there’s 50 of them in the flock there’s 45, but it makes the place very special And I can’t think Amber enough for being there for me and being there for all the residence if you’re looking for a place and I’m serious, call Desiree at a place for mom. I am a divorced father and I think Amber and Grand villa for getting me closer to my sons because that’s what it’s all about right.

From the first visit, before my sister moved in, I could tell this was the place she should be. Feels so homey. We casually dropped by several times to show other family where my sister wanted to live. They were impressed too. Now that she’s moved in to her cottage this place is even better than expected. She’s made new friends and loves her new home. Everyone is friendly, greets you with a smile and the place is clean. They have a ton of activities for residents to participate in and soooo much more.

The Grand Villa was the best choice we made for our family friend. He is so well taken care of and we no longer worry that he is alone or not getting proper nutrition. I recently placed my Dad in Grand Villa of Palm Coast and feel I couldn’t have made a better decision for him. My Dad had memory issues (dementia) and needed some assistance with his daily routine. He also needed social stimulation, daily activities, and the opportunity to be around people his own age with similar experience, people he could identify with. After visiting numerous assisted living communities, we ultimately chose Grand Villa of Palm Coast. During our tour, we noted how meticulously maintained and updated the structure was. The grounds surrounding it were equally well-thought-out, inviting and well-kept. All of the staff, from management to caregiver, were incredibly helpful and friendly. After observing all of these qualities and interviewing the residents (who were very happy and highly recommended the facility), the decision became a no-brainer for us. I’d like to pay a special thanks to Amber Wagner, their Leasing Director. In all of my experience in business, I have never worked with someone more friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and efficient. As most of you know, the decision to enter a family member into assisted living is no easy one, as there are multiple concerns and stressors on multiple levels. Amber made the transition, as well as the paperwork as seamless possible, always assuring us that Dad was truly cared for and taken care of. For that, I will always be grateful. Bravo!

Grand Villa has been an answer from heaven for me. The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. The food is AMAZING!!! The other residents are also friendly and know my name already. The move in process was seamless and after a few days, it's feeling like home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs that little bit of extra help, wants more activity in their life, and wants to feel they're in a secure & safe environment. Did I mention the food is GREAT?!

Each department has their own role in making this place truly feel like home. Food service has won awards for several years now on how great the meals are. The care staff are all amazing and work together to ensure all of the residents are made priority. We have amazing activities including church services, shopping trips and BINGO during the day. I absolutely love Grand Villa. Myself and several other residents have started a gardening group. Stephanie, Sarah and Chris in Nursing are so helpful and attentive to the residents needs. Sheri in housekeeping is wonderful and helps wherever she can. I am so glad I chose to come to Grand Villa.

After having my mother in multiple residences we feel we have found a home for her. This is always a difficult process, and some of us are learning as we go, but having the staff at grand Villa, especially AMBER, who has bent over backwards for me and my family, and accommodated us and our mother the best that she can. AMBER has explained things in a way that I can understand and knows the process and how it needs to be done. she’s very reassuring and patient. I would definitely recommend grand Villa and its staff to take care of your loved one. My mother has only been there for a month, but I could see she will be there for many more with the care she receives God willing.

Placing a loved one in a Long Term Care facility was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. Having worked in ALFs years ago, I had expectations of what I wanted for my mother who had Alzheimer's disease. Sometimes in the process of the disease it becomes necessary for a committed team to care for your loved one. The staff at Grand Villa met my expectations and were devoted to providing my mother with a safe haven and caring home in her last months. They truly became extended family. I would also like to mention the onsite physical and occupational therapy offered to residents. I can sum up the therapists and therapy in one word: Incredible.

This is the best place for our Mother. She moved here from Alaska after being independent and alone for over 30 years. The staff have each been helpful in getting her adjusted to the "Senior Living Community" lifestyle. Her apartment is roomy and she is enjoying the daily meals and activities. Grand Villa is in a beautiful location, the building is well taken care of and a pleasure to visit. Amber was so helpful in working with us to get just the right place for Mom.

I am proud to live at GV. Many things happen here that I have adjusted to and accept. My grass is cut- have once a week house cleaning- electric (light bulbs) and AC are included. The NEW LODGE is really wonderful. If I need a special help-GV is there. All the staff go out of their way to be nice, professional and handle any request, i.e. some times I need a special food select. What more can I say??? Each day I am thankful that I found GV --especially the new GV.

This is such a great beautiful place. I will definitely choose for my mom. When you walk in your first impression is wendy who greets you with a warm smile always ready to help. My greatest experience was assisting my friend too move her mom in.and I tell you Bob and sheri was there every step of the way helping out .Maureen always have Residents engage In activities Heather the bus driver is amazing. We met with Amber Wagner today for a tour of the memory care area and to get more information about finding placement for my mother-in-law. The place itself was very nice! Clean, bright, nicely decorated. Staff seemed friendly, patients looked comfortable and happy and Amber was wonderful. Soooo patient with all of our questions, very knowledgeable and passionate about the facility, staff and patients. We have a few more tours to go on before we decide, but Amber definitely made us feel more at ease with the process and the decisions we are making. Thank you!

Grand Villa Palm Coast has been through many renovations over the last year and it is unrecognizable from previous owner. With the renovations, they have also added onsite therapy services. Restore Therapy can provide Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services to any residents who are in need or interested in our services. Restore Therapy is located across from the Director of Nursing which is beneficial because they can communicate any changes regarding the residents medical status and functional level. The therapy staff is very pleasant and upbeat and willing to help out in the community when necessary. The treatments provided are individualized to the needs of each resident. As far as Grand Villa Staff, every member of the team is professional and upbeat and works diligently to put a smile on every residents face. Dan, the Executive Director, is one of the most supportive and caring people I have encountered in my 10 years in the medical field. I believe that Grand Villa Palm Coast embodies Looks like home, feels like family. If I were looking an assisted living facility to call home for my loved one, I would choose Grand Villa Palm Coast without hesitation.

My sister has been a resident of Grand Villa (formerly known as Princeton Village) for seven years. Since it became Grand Villa, with numerous changes in administrators, staff, personnel, renovations and activities for residents, my sister has become a different person. She is happy to call Grand Villa her home. Prior to that she was contemplating moving to another assisted living facility. She likes the facility, the people, the food, and the activities. Her attitude has changed from constantly complaining to being totally happy. She enjoys all that Grand Villa has to offer. Since I do not live in Florida, there are times that I need to be able to reach staff members at Grand Villa. Dan Weese, the Executive Director, has been wonderful. He is accessible, kind, caring, and helpful. I greatly appreciate being able to communicate with him. I honestly believe that Grand Villa of Palm Coast exemplifies Looks like Home. Feels like family.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The care at Grand Villa is by far the best of any ACLF in Palm Coast. The food is excellent and they provide many activities and transportation for the residents.

My wife (Joyce) and I recently visited Grand Villa of Palm Coast. This is a lovely community surrounded by more than 100 acres of undeveloped natural land. You get the feeling that you are out in the country even though you are only minutes away from shopping, restaurants and excellent hospital. The staff; dear Amber, Dan and others are outstanding and helpful as well as the friendly and smiling residents that we met. It was an easy decision for us to decided to secure a two bedroom cottage. We will be living happily living at Grand Villa of Palm Coast within the next month or so.

My husband and I have nothing but high praise for this facility. Amber is a pure gem. She has been so helpful to our family. So far my mother in law has stayed there for respite care. She loves the place and we are now making arrangements for her to live there permanently and receive the care needed.

We've been in Grand Villa of Palm Coast for just about 3 months now. The community is very friendly, welcoming, well laid out, private, and caring. We are very, very pleased with our choice. We are in a two-bedroom, two-bath villa. They have several different floor plans, and we chose this one because we are coming from a larger house and going into something smaller. We felt that this would give us the room we needed, and it's working out beautifully. The management and staff here have gone way over and above what is required. They have made us feel truly valued and welcome. Our physical home is more than we could imagine when we started our search for an independent living facility. But, it is the people who truly make this place special. There is an on-site beauty shop where an independent contractor comes in two days a week and a small general store where residents can get a few necessities. We have a community bus that will take us to doctors’ appointments, shopping, etc. We have not really used this service so I can't say how well it works. Our home is laid out perfectly for my husband who uses a wheelchair. We have no issues with doorways, rooms, or bathrooms. It's all very well done. The community does not have extraordinary amenities. This is not a place that has swimming pools or a golf course -- none of that is here. But that's one of the reasons we chose it. We don't value those things, so we don't need to be paying extra money for amenities we wouldn't use. Within our type of arrangement, we have our own patio, our own backyard area, and our own garage, so it's really very independent living. There is a small community room up in the main building, and a communal dining area serving 3 meals a day. If we choose to, we can do our own cooking. The cottages and villas have full kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, stove, and large refrigerator.

My parents moved into Princeton Village Independent living units a few years ago. They kind of kept to themselves. So it was not until they moved into an Assisted Living unit in the hotel’ and had declining health that I really got to know the staff there. I stayed with my parents through the last hurricane scare and spent a week hanging around the facility while I ran other errands, dining in, talking to nurses and staff to figure out my parents best health options. I was so impressed that every single one of the staff I met was sincerely interested in my parent’s best interests. The director Randy made sure to mix with the patients at various times and could be found serving a meal or filling in for a staff that called in sick, or just stopping by to say Hi. And he was always available to talk if there was a real need. The nursing staff were always available to talk to me or bounce ideas off. The various caregivers were friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and feel very comfortable that they are doing everything they can to look after my parents. Everyone has their own needs and should consider what location best meets that. But for what they do, Princeton Village does it very well. Craig Chicago, IL
