Newhaven Court didn’t just provide a place for my parents-in-law to live”they provided our entire family with peace of mind and profound and life changing support. From our initial tour, we knew this community was different. Every team member treats residents like family. The hallways are filled with smiles, and the low staff turnover means our family sees the same dedicated caregivers week after week, from the clinical team to the front desk and maintenance. Every team member from the Directors, Doctor, Physician Assistant, Aides, Housekeeping, Dining, Maintenance go above and beyond. The team at Newhaven are always kind, patience, understanding, professional and above all else dedicated to doing everything they can to support their residents and their family. When you have team members volunteer to be away from their own families, and stay during a snowstorm to ensure the residents are cared for, you know Newhaven is a very special place. Their compassion was on full display when my father-in-law transitioned into hospice. The grace, expertise, and love shown to my husband, my mother-in-law, and me during that time was unforgettable. Today, my mother-in-law is happier, healthier, and more alert than she has been in years. Having researched and toured numerous facilities, Newhaven Court is truly the gold standard for care and value.

New Haven Court at Linwood is a very nice place to live. My Dad and Stepmother moved into their apartment in January. Every member of the staff that we have interacted with has been kind, professional and caring. The Aides are very quick to respond to needs of the residents. New Haven does a nice job of providing residents with activities.

My mom has been in Memory Care at Newhaven for over a year and a half now. It was a very hard decision to make when staff suggested we move her from Assisted Living since her dementia had progressed and she needed more care. I know now we made the right choice in doing so. Tracy and her staff are absolutely the best caretakers! They are so attuned to my mother's needs and efficiently handle all of them with the utmost care and respect. I also appreciate that I feel I can ask them any questions or express any concerns I may have about my mother and always feel satisfied with their responses. I feel very blessed to have these special people taking care of my mom and would recommend this wonderful group of caretakers to anyone needing to place a loved one in a memory care facility.

My transition to New Haven came as a bit of a surprise, but I could not be happier. I have been here for several months now and I’m very pleased. The staff are all friendly polite, respectful, and will go out of their way to assist you. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The food served in the dining room is good with some room for improvement but very difficult to please everyone all the time. There are always several choices at each meal to choose from. I especially would like to thank Michael Brandonio, who is the head of community relations and has assisted me from the beginning of my journey and has gone out of his way to help me and continues to keep contact with me checking to be sure everything is going well. I have read some negative reviews but again it’s difficult to please everyone and you will never find any place that is 100% perfect. Overall I would give New Haven Court an excellent review and suggest anyone looking for an assisted living give us a look.

The residents are amazing here! The staff is all about TEAM. The schedual is perfect for each staff member. Newhaven Court at Lindwood in Greensburg is so heart warming.

The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is utter lack of a dietary program. What they call food is not what others call food. This is more of a summer camp food program. I believe with price you pay, a good culinary menu with some variation shouldn't be too much to ask.

Newhaven Ct @ Linwood is a very good choice for senior or assisted living. It is professional run, well maintained and organized. They brought my wife back to me. The aids are compassionate and caring. Michael Brandonio is a professional and a pleasure to work with.

I was in a rush trying to find a good place for my grandmother to live at when I stumbled across this place. The staff are wonderful and if not for the marketing team I would have never found it! I even got to talk to them while I was there and Noelle and Michael were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good home for their loved ones. 5 Stars!!!

Words cannot describe the genuine prompt care we had with my Mom as we moved her into Newhaven...she was in a skilled nursing facility due to a fall and her current place of living did not help at all to get her moved to personal care...I reached out to Newhaven on a Friday and was invited that day to come visit the facility...Carley gave us a tour in the late afternoon and seemed genuinely excited we were there to tour the facility one though it was late on a Friday...we immediately fell in love with the place and camaraderie between the staff and how they treated their residents...my daughter was with us and she is an NP at many skilled nursing facilities and she too noticed how the energy seemed so positive...Michael came that weekend to meet my mother at her current facility to see if she would qualify to move into their facility...we were grateful to learn she could move in right away...have no idea how they puled it off but they did...we were able to move her in a few days later into a beautiful one bedroom unit...the staff including maintenance had the room ready and we moved our Mom in 5 days after we visited Newhaven...the staff immediately started taking great care of her and they were all so kind, patient and understanding as she was a bit disoriented and confused with the move...my family is so incredibly grateful for all they did for us and our Mom...shout out to Laurel, Mia and Chris too who have been wonderful and Michael and Carley are truly a gift to this facility and the residents...thank you ALL for your continued support.

We had to scramble quickly to find a place for my parents and discovered Newhaven Place at Lindwood. We’re glad we did. The setting is beautiful, the building feels homey and the staff is kind and welcoming. My father passed away soon after they moved in but we know mom is safe, comfortable and well cared for there.

I've worked for Newhaven Court for over 11 years. During my working career I have to say this is the best company I've ever worked for. The administrator (Lori) treats you with respect, she is kind funny, most importantly she works side by side with ALL staff she is absolutely amazing. The employees that work here are dedicated to providing excellent care to our residents. Newhaven is my home away from home. My 2 children are working age and now are also working here because they see me coming home talking about how much I love my job.

My wife and I researched all the assisted living communities in Westmoreland County and selected Newhaven because of the positive, helpful attitude of the staff, cleanliness, room set up, beautiful shared living spaces and planned social activities. Six weeks ago when my Mother entered Newhaven, she was despondent, withdrawn, uncaring about her appearance and generally depressed over the passing of her husband of 72 years. Since her arrival, she now showers regularly, dresses, applies make up and fixes her hair daily “ what a change! She is even doing better cognitively: her memory has improved and it is easier to carry on a conversation with her. As an added bonus, her outgoing personality and sense of humor have returned. Placing my mother in Newhaven was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make. I can honestly say that I made the right decision “ and my mother agrees. The Newhaven staff is excellent from top to bottom. It is obvious that all employees like their jobs and truly care for the residents. Newhaven truly deserve a 5 star rating. Rob R.

Ok, placing a parent into a personal care home is tough. My mom was very independent before falling and breaking her hip. She never wanted to go to a facility, but after rehab, it was clear she needed more help after discharge. The folks at New Haven worked tirelessly to ensure she had the room type she wanted and that all her care was taken into account. They manage her meds (such a relief!) and come quickly when she hits her button. The director of nursing and the charge nurse have been great about communicating any updates or changes in meds. Her place is super cute and is just enough space, without being too big to navigate in a walker. I’m so very happy we picked New Haven! Mom is happy, too

I can’t say enough about the care of my mother received at New Haven Court at Lindwood They took care of her like a family member would and let her still be herself through the years. Whether it was enjoying a meal or dancing to the jukebox or the piano sing-along or even attending a church service, planting flowers and vegetables in their garden, she thrived there. Every one of the staff members treated her her like their own family member. It was so reassuring, knowing she was in such good hands to be there for all of her years. I am forever grateful for the care she got there. They will always be a part of me and the memories that we created while she was there’™

My brother is now a resident of Newhaven Court. He just arrived 4 days ago and the service has been fantastic!! The staff goes above and beyond and has made my brother feel so at home. My brother needs assistance with many things and the staff is always there to help. Their response time to the call button is amazing, and they always respond with a smile. The facility itself is very clean with beautiful decor. I would highly recommend this place for your loved one.

Making the decision to move a parent or loved one into an assisted living facility is never easy but, Mom moved in a week ago and so far we are at a 5-star care facility!!!! We just love the ease that the staff, especially Sarah and Michael, gave us with moving her in. My dad and I now have peace of mind that she is safe and being well cared for. She is participating in activities and interacting with other residents daily! Looking forward to watching her thrive as she gets more comfortable with her new home.

I never knew a personal care home could be so understanding, so patient, so caring, so loving. We picked Newhaven for our mom because of the feeling we first got as we walked past the patio chairs filled with residents. They all smiled and seemed genuinely happy. The building itself, inside and out has that warm & cozy feel. After a month & a half, mom is settling in nicely. Newhaven has given her a sense of security and has provided everything we could not. The activities that go on are tremendous and get the folks moving which is so important. We are forever grateful to Newhaven.

Finding a new home for my father-in-law, since he was not safe at home by himself, was extremely difficult. We toured several places and chose Newhaven Court. It was a great decision! Very caring staff who love their residents. Very well maintained. In fact, they just are about finished with sprucing up the walls and carpets. Dad is very comfortable in his studio apartment and we, his family, are relieved that he is being taken care of so well! Thank you all!
