Our Mother was only there a short time, before shepassed. But everyone was so welcoming and as came quickly when called. The office staff was outstanding answering all our question.

Lived here for 4 years. LibertyVillage has steadily gone down hill. Left in October 2022, and still waiting for deposit. These people are out of compliance with State of Wisconsin regulations for Land lord / tenant agreement. This has been a constant battle with this administration and owner Jonathan Moyer. Future residents, beware.
January 2023
Management extremely disorganized, and dishonest. We moved out of LibertyVillage on 10/28/2022. Have inquired about our $1000 deposit with no success. Not answering my phone calls or voicemails. I have called daily for 2 weeks, only to find out the Director left her job. I made one last call, 3 weeks ago and spoke to new Director. She stated she would get hold of Jonathan Moyer CEO OF BAY HARBOR ASSISTED LIVING LLC. Jonathan sent an email stating our $ 1000 deposit was used for unpaid expenses. We have no unpaid expenses, since our rent was on automatic pay from our bank. My accountant answered the email informing Jonathan of this. We have not heard anything back for 2 weeks. I am a RN, and would not recommend having your loved one at LibertyVillage. There is one elevator in the building which chronically breaks down. Majority of residents one 3 rd floor are unable to walk down the 26 steps of the stairs. High turnover of staff, leaving because of the disorganization of this facility, poor food, and double shifts.Resident care is not consistent and medications error exists. This is nota safe place.

My husband and I moved from here after 4 years. Reasons for leaving: Highly disorganized management, one elevator, which breaks down chronically, residents on 3rd floor that cannot walk the stairs when elevator is down, FOOD!!!,poor working conditions because of mismanagement, high turnover in staff, IMPOSSIBLE TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK WHEN YOU LEAVE. I WOULD NOT PUT MY LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY. I am a RN, in my working days. We felt we had no where else to go until we found a new place in the area. Staff is professional, management top notch and food is excellent.
December 2022
My husband and I lived here 4 years. Upper management very disorganized and not professional or dependable. LibertyVillage is steadily going down hill. Most of the food is not eatable. We complain to management and have been told “ If you don’t like here, go somewhere else “ There is one elevator in the whole building servicing 2 floors, and is chronically not running. We were told the last time it was fixed, if that didn’t work the elevator would have to be rebuilt, and could be up to 3 months before running again. We lived on 3rd floor and when I was admitted 4 years ago, I was wheelchair bound for 1 1/2 years. Over half of the people on third floor are unable to walk without assistive equipment and certainly cannot navigate the 26 steps to first floor. This is an unsafe situation. We moved out end of October, and I thought our problems with LibertyVillage were over. Now we are having a problem getting our security deposit of $1000. back. According to the State this should have been returned in 21 days. Two weeks in December I have called and left messages, with no response. A Company owns LibertyVillages, and it is Bethany Assisted Living and memory care. I have looked online and cannot find them. Our next step is to take LibertyVillage to small claims court. I would Not recommend this place to anyone. Care is not consistent or reliable. There are a few staff members that are conscientious. High turnover rate among staff.
November 2022
Upper management very disorganized and does not communicate well with staff and residents. Very unprofessional. Large turn over in staff, chronic elevator problems, which is an unsafe situation for those unable to walk, who are on 3rd floor. Night shift has only 3 staff on for the entire building. The public siren goes off during threatening weather, and no one comes up to 3rd floor to see that Residents are in the hall or in their bathroom. Food is unhealthy, poor meat which is unable to chew. Meals are small. Residents are not getting the amenities advertised. The problems here have not changed in the 4 years we lived there.

My father in law lives there. He has a nice room and is able to have his own furniture. It's a nice looking place - very clean and homey-feeling. I like the fireplace. He loves sitting outside on the porches. There's a really nice enclosed outdoor area with lots of flowers. I recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place for someone to live who needs help taking care of themselves. He doesn't participate in a lot of the activities but he loves when they have entertainers who play music. The workers are friendly and helpful.

Liberty is a nice community for people who are more independent, as the personal living area for residents is more spacious than some other places. The staff is helpful and accommodating, and the community seems well kept and tidy. I havent had a meal there yet, but my mother says the food is average tasting. The portion sizes are good enough for her, and the meals are nutritious. They do have lots of activities like Bingo, which my mother loves, crafts, music, and others. We liked Liberty the best out of the other places we toured, and wed recommend the community to others.

The staff was awesome, my Mom loved the attention. She enjoyed the exercise program and entertainment. . She was very well cared for. Her rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff. On the down side she did not like the food. We also noticed an unpleasant "nursing home odor"
