My visit to Yakima was enhanced with having a tour of Cascades of Chesterley. The Administrator came to greet me and my friend as we walked in. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and offered answers to the many questions that I had. The facility seemed overwhelmingly large, but as I became familiar with the campus, it evolved in my realizing that it is actually quite intimate. The memory care unit was as I expected and the staff was so caring to the residents and to us, as visitors. I loved the menu being displayed in the dining area. The choices were many, with a standard being offered to all. Cleanliness and organization is important to me and I found the facility to be well maintained. But, what most impressed me as I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the lobby area is how relaxed and happy the residents were. They came and went and seemed to be totally content. That reflects how the caregivers are actually doing their job and tending to the residents needs. Congrats to you for offering me a wonderful tour of your beautiful facility.

I would recommend for the following reasons,Amazing care is provided to residents, they maintain a Sanitary Environment,they’re located in a Safe part of town,there is resources available for those in need and most of all the management team’s main focus is to ensure stability,safety and a clean environment so they can provide the best care possible!

Every time I go in I am always greeted by the friendliest group of people. I have met with so many great individuals. You should go in sometime and meet with Virginia the Executive Director or get a tour from Kayla the Community Relations Director. All the staff at Cascades of Chesterley are very inviting and make you feel at home. If I were ever to decide I needed a place for a family member this would be where I would take them.

I was here caring for my grandfather in his last days. To say their Staff were amazing, is an understatement. So many staff members made a difference: K.C., Christina, Mary, Andrea, Evelyn, Cassandra, Donya, Anjelica, Henry, Julian; I could go on and on... A sincere THANK YOU for all youve done!!!

This is a great facility! My loved one is doing quite well here. The facility is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are sure to cater to my loved one's needs. She is receiving healthy meals and she enjoys participating in the activities that they have to offer.

I was very happy with how things went for my mother while she was at this community. All of the staff where wonderful and took great care during her stay. She had a lot of health issues so it was important that wherever we had put her had a knowledgeable nursing staff. The only thing I was not expecting was it was a little more expensive then we had planned for.

Chesterly saved my mom life. I am so grateful for everything they have done for her. My mom did not want to go into assistant living but after a problem with hers meds then she was not eating it because a medical issue. When I moved her in she had not eaten anything solid in 4 days. She was more like a mental patient. The evening we moved her in she ate dinner and loved the food. She has never missed a meal. She keeps telling me how great the food is. She loves the activities especially the exercise class every morning In less than a week my mom is smiling laughing and talking with other people. Yesterday she told me I love it here! Thank you for bring me here. I should have come a year ago. What a change in less than a week.

I got to take a tour of this community. It seemed and looked nice. It looks and feels like the other communities. The only difference from this community than our final choice is the price. The price is too much in my opinion.
