Very clean and great staff!

I wanted to give it a year after my grandmother moved in to have enough time to give an honest in depth review. First off, my grandmother moved here after selling her house. She’s not from the area and had zero friends moving in. With me (her grandson and only family) being a little over an hour away, I left my grandmother in the hands of the staff and community at Fairwinds as I can only visit her on the weekends. There was a big adjustment period, both for my grandmother and what seems to be a shift in personnel and operations (possibly due to COVID and the recession). But Fairwinds has been the best place I could have hoped for. Brent welcomed her in and really listened to her and any complaints she had. They have been extremely patient and kind. The staff learned her name quickly, what kind of things she liked and encouraged her to be apart of the community. Now a year later she knows everyone. Has a schedule full of events like exercise, book club live music on the weekends etc. I don’t have any other places to compare Fairwinds to, but they have met every expectation I’ve had. Hats off to the staff here for being so great.

My daughter works here. She is in love with the residents. She would do anything for them. The relationship they have with her is like they are all her grandparents. They are lucky to have her. She is grateful to have a job she loves

My grandfather lived at Fairwinds for many years. The staff are amazing and overall it exceeded our expectations. They offered so many events, games, social activities, a fitness center transportation, all while keeping residents happy and healthy. I visited often and enjoyed participating in everything.

Fairwinds is a special home for me and love the activities and great help. Each day is a gift with something to look forward to. One can make many friends and enjoy the great service from the great help. Life is more than I could expect in a smaller home but enjoyable.

Best Staff Ever!! Ashle was so great with residents-staff in her dining room position Im sorry to see her leave there but excited that she is now in the receptionist position. She can answer all questions and if she cant she will find answer from her supervisor. If the dining room manager position ever comes available - Residents and Families would recommend her. Thank you Ashle - Our parents love and respect you with all their hearts!

Good food, comfortable and lots of stuff to do. Hey, anybody looking for a retirement place Independent living or Assisted Living, come and look at FAIRWINDS - SPOKANE - 520 E Holland Ave, Spokane. There are lots of activities for you to keep busy with, transportation available, we are in great shape as far as COVID-19 is concerned, Fairwinds has done a super job in keeping us safe. Wear a mask and come on and take a tour. You can exercise in the athletic room on all the machines etc. Sit out on the patio in the nice sunshine, also during happy hour.. Ladies, look at this, your apartment is cleaned weekly, with changing your sheets and towels done by Fairwinds, wow such a deal???? Also you dont have to cook, eat in dining room, whenever your schedule is set. Come and look?!!

I absolutely love working here. My coworkers and the Residents are all so special. Working here during a pandemic has been challenging and rewarding. You can really tell this company cares for their employees as much as their residents. Highly recommend working here, and living here. We are a five star fun community and wouldnt want to work anywhere else. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a beautiful place to live. Check the pictures of the holiday decor. There are so many things to do that the days are flying by. Thank you, thank you, thank you to our very generous residents for giving to our special Christmas fund for the employees. We set a huge record this year which tells me, as President of our FAIRWINDS Resident Council, that the workers here are appreciated and go above and beyond to help we residents. I wish I could name them all. I also want to thank management for their wonderful caring and positive attitudes toward keeping us safe and making sure everyone follows the rules. Thanks everyone. Love love love this place! Staff is wonderful and you feel like your at a beautiful resort. Food is great and very clean facility. Everyone is willing and happy to help. Dad has been here for 5 years and just loves it. That is so important since we are so far away

I may be considered biased because I work here but then again in many places that could make a person jaded. This is a great community! They offer a wonderful resort style place to live. It isn't cheap, but if you can afford it it sure is worth it! They plan all sorts of in house activities for the residents to be involved in if they so choose. They also have regular field trips that they can sign up for. They have a beautiful full service restaurant staffed with wonderful people and a Bistro that serves breakfast in the mornings and soft alcohol in the afternoon/evenings. They even host a happy hour for the residents and their guests 3 nights a week! They are a very caring company that shares it's compasion with not only it's residents but it's employees as well! This is the first place that I have worked where everyone actually seems to like their job! This is a unique environment to work in and one I thoroughly enjoy! So come on in and check us out if you're interested!

Everything is fairly close there's a Trader Joe's Burlington you have wrote Ross sorry there's also was Sherry's that's fairly close Chase Bank and there are a couple of other little stores in between there so yeah it's pretty cool

I was employed at Fairwinds for a couple of years, and now work for a staffing agency where i travel to multitudes of hospitals, skilled nursing , assisted and independent living facilities. I have seen so many places in Spokane County that can not ( or more like, do not) offer the same level of care as Fairwinds. None compare. After seeing employees at other facilities, walking around on their cell phones, ignoring residents, or refusing to answer call lights it dawned on me, i never saw that kind of behavior at Fairwinds. They valued and respected each and every resident from housekeeping to the kitchen staff, from front office to back office, health and wellness to matienence, everyone who worked there, treated the residents like family, with dignity and valued each individual and strived to met their needs, in every aspect. That is how much Faiwinds cares about their residents. Fairwinds is the kind of community I would find for my loved ones.

When you visit Fairwinds you will see many things for yourself - how beautiful and spacious and modern it is; happy people doing things they like to do; fairwinds people smiling and greeting and hugging as they go throughout the complex. But you might not see, yet, until your loved one lives here, how very much every single person at Fairwinds cares about each and every resident and their family. They know every face and name, because you are important to them. They genuinely love being there with your loved one. AND, if that's not enough, they are experts at all that they do, even saving lives, as they did for my mom. We love this place and can not say enough wonderful things.
