I have lived at Affinity Bellingham for 3 years. I moved here after a 35 year marriage, and was now alone. This community has been so inviting and the relationships I have built here helped me to become comfortable with living alone. I got involved in a couple of resident communities that worked with Affinity to support both the residents and Affinity. I have been able to communicate with the Director of Affinity Bellingham and been able to incorporate suggestions that the resident have presented to Affinity management. I would recommend this community for residents that are interested in a very vibrant and busy lifestyle. Please keep in mind that this is not an assistant living community.

If you are over 55 and would like to live at a beautifully maintained facility you should consider Affinity at Bellingham. Here are just a few reasons: Great, competent, and friendly management and maintenance personnel. You get attention on the spot. The facility (building and grounds) are attractive and impeccably maintained. Living at Affinity is tantamount to living at a resort: you have a miniature putting green, heated indoor swimming pool with work-out room and hot tub attached, outdoor barbecue and sitting areas. Indoors the apartments are functional with all the expected conveniences of apartment life. Quiet and well maintained. The building itself has many amenities such as a bar, movie room, library, Internet cafe, game rooms, and spacious sitting areas . The apartment complex itself has a gracious entry room with fireplace and many sitting areas. If you are looking for "retirement life" with hotel-resort like facilities within the confines of an attractive city--this could be the place for you?

We've been here going on four years this May and have found the perfect independent living facility. It's quiet, secure, with loads of amenities and activities. The maintenance is top drawer and quick to respond as is the management and staff. I highly recommend the Affinity at Bellingham for anyone looking for an independent living facility.

I have lived at Affinity for almost 2yrs years now & I have enjoyed every second of it! The Mgr. Laurie does her job extremely well to ensure that we feel safe, secure, happy, heard, and genuinely cared for! What other apartment complex does that?? The Affinity staff is second to none also & the Maintenance staff is top notch!! The list of amenities that we have here are amazing so if you are bored, it's because you want to be bored! Lol

This is a wonderful place to live and we have enjoyed being a part of the Affinity community. There are so many opportunities to take advantage of within close proximity, as well as the social events available here. We've met so many lovely neighbors who have become friends as well.The Affinity staff are also very caring and accessible to the residents. We highly recommend this carefree lifestyle!

We love living here at Affinity in Bellingham! The staff are simply lovely and if we need anything at all they're quick to help. The community of residents are friendly and there are many ways to be involved and stay connected if you want to. The amenities have something for everyone from the pool, library, theater room (amazing!) wood shop, craft room, game room, billiards, large outdoor fire pit, large BBQ patio space.. We have dogs and there is a wonderful dog park on site along with beautiful open areas to walk. The location is prime with nearby shopping, Starbucks, Costco, and quick access to I-5. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need (including AC, which was a must have). The windows and slider to the deck are very insulated making outside noise unnoticeable. As you can tell, we're huge fans and highly recommend living here!

My wife and I have found living at Affinity convenient, comfortable and pleasant. The current management staff is responsive, efficient, dependable and friendly. Since the new manager came on board, facility upkeep and appearance are better than ever. We find the many amenities and services outstanding. Rent is a value because it encompasses amenities, maintenance, and utilities - including satellite TV and Wi-Fi. In addition we can work out right here instead of paying for a gym membership. The maintenance staff is committed to resolving any issues to our satisfaction, communicate well, and are courteous and respectful when they need to enter our home.
