SeniorCorp is a cut above all other agencies. They really care about each client and always strive to make the client happy. The employees in the office and in the field strive for excellence. As my 88 year old mothers health began to decline, my siblings and I found ourselves in uncharted waters. We were finally confronted with the fact that our beloved mother was beyond our care and we needed assistance from professionals. I quickly began searching for home health care agencies and called several to discuss care. I was delightfully surprised by what I heard about Senior Corp and what they had to offer. I made an appointment with staff to discuss care We were immediately impressed and started care within the week. Mom has had absolutely amazing care givers and we thank Senior Corp for that !! Teresa, who has cared for mom from the beginning, is such an incredible human being, we think of her as family. I never imagined that a total stranger could come in and care for my mother like Teresa has. I love her and my brothers love her too!! I also need to give a shout out to Carol Gentry, the private duty-home health scheduler. Carol finds care givers to work moms shifts and adapt to our constant changing needs. Carol has been there for us since she came on board with Senior Corp and I will sing her praises for years to come !! Hi, my name is Priscilla F. I have been working with seniorcorp for 3 years and a half and this has been the best company I have ever worked for. I had to recently quit because Im pregnant(my choice) but I can say they have an understanding staff for their caregivers. They are super flexible, will give over time. I was a single mother and needed understanding from them and without a doubt they always worked with me. Pay is great also for someone that doesnt have a degree. Seniorcorp cares for my great aunt. I was staying in town visiting with her for about a week and was blown away by the professionalism the caretakers exhibited and the dedication they all clearly have for their work. My aunt has dementia and they are so good with her. I would highly recommend looking into this company if you are looking for homecare for a loved one. Ive contacted Seniorcorp a few times for consultations and advice over the last few years as my parents have aged. They have always been responsive and helpful. My elderly father came to live with my husband and I and we took care of him 24-7 for seven months by ourselves. He was bedridden and had to be lifted and moved for every bath and bathroom situation. My father had suffered some injuries in an out-of-state facility and was very afraid of outside care and with the internet videos I was scared of outside care as well. When I finally realized that at almost 60 years of age that I could not continue the constant care without help I called SeniorCorps. I spoke to a wonderful lady named Elizabeth and she put my mind at ease instantly. She explained everything and even their hiring process. Not everyone can qualify for the care giver positions and that is a great thing. I highly recommend this company for your families needs. They do care!
