We recently moved my mother-in-law into Magnolias of Chesterfield, and we have been very happy with her experience there after the first month. Madalyn was very patient with us and answered all our questions through a couple of preliminary visits. Every time we call to check in, someone answers the phone and can give us updates on my mother-in-law. Every time we visit, the staff is always very warm, engaging, and quick to answer questions. The facility is very clean. Amenities that were important to us that Magnolias provides are self-access to outdoor areas including two walking tracks, lots of indoor space (my mother-in-law loves to walk), larger rooms, and a hair salon. The residents always appear well taken care of. Magnolias also has an active Facebook page which is great. We would recommend Magnolias to anyone looking for a caring and well run memory care facility. Update (Dec 2021): Just wanted to follow up after several months and call out that we continue to be very happy with our experience here.

My mother has been a resident for almost a month now and has been doing well at Magnolias. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. My mom really likes sitting out on the patio designated for smoking, and they have lots of activities for the residents and for the families as well. We think that Mom will be very happy at Magnolias in the years to come.

Magnolias at Chesterfield is dedicated only to memory care residents, which makes it incredibly special. The facility is designed to allow secured open access, which is so important for those with memory loss. From the beginning, Jay Maxey, Sales and Marketing Director, represented the kind of care your family member can get at Magnolias: care for residents, honesty, creativity, and a willingness to go beyond expectations. Special touches include secured outdoor spaces that are lovingly set up and maintained with rocking chairs and bird feeders, as well as an indoor garden. Stephanie Quick, Executive Director, and Jay Maxey moved mountains to get our family member into Magnolias quickly and we truly appreciated their care. The people at Magnolias are what make it special.

So many wonderful changes throughout the last 6 months. The facility was clean, smelled amazing, the staff were engaging with residents. The front staff were helpful with smiles on their faces. They have a new administrator that is young with lots of experience. You can tell she truly loves her job, the staff, and most importantly the residents. Their DON is just as wonderful! Shes very loving and truly puts the needs of the residents first. I highly recommend calling and requesting a tour to see for yourself!

My father lived at Magnolias for 4 months prior to his passing. The staff was very helpful in getting him acclimated. It was nice to see the same staff, day in and day out. I knew if there was an issue, I could quickly track down someone to help. Everyone from the house cleaning staff to the kitchen staff to the nurses and med techs were all helpful and kind. They all made you feel at home. I had looked around at other fancier places before deciding on Magnolias., but I feel the care my dad received was great! I would say that Magnolias was the diamond in the rough. Im really thankful that my father was able to spend his last few months on earth at Magnolias of Chesterfield. Sincerely, Sharon Poe

I was in a very dire emergency situation regarding my parents (specifically my father) needing placement in a memory care community. Jay and Stephanie went above and beyond to help me, listen to me, and guide me through the process. They ensured my every need was met for Dad. Our experience has been great so far! Jay, who helped us is amazing and has been so thorough in making sure our transition was comfortable and easy. He helped us every step of the way, going above and beyond to help us in the evenings and on weekends. He is friendly and has a heart for what he does. The transition period for my family member was very difficult. Everyone was supportive and caring, both to her and myself. I cannot say or give enough praise for the excellent care she receives both emotionally and physically. She has received physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy when needed. We really do like this place. Mama had a hard adjustment due a medical problem (broken ankle)and they seemed to be willing to work with us as was needed. They got her therapy everyday which is most definitely helping her walk again. The nurses know the patients individually which is a plus. No where is like home for our loved ones but we feel good about her placement here

We ran into an emergency situation with my mother who has Alzheimers and needed an immediate placement. Jay at Magnolias was so kind and accommodating to our situation. It was definitely new and frightening territory for us and we had no idea how to navigate. Jay led us through the process and was available to answer all questions and to provide support every step of the way. Everyone at Magnolias has been so warm and friendly. Their kindness has made a difficult process so much easier for our family. They even bought my mom her favorite flowers and placed them in her room to welcome her. I can relax for the first time in a long time knowing that my mom is in such good hands.

We first sought Magnolias of Chesterfield because of its price point. So glad we chose this place. We absolutely love the programs and hats off to their kitchen staff! We didnt realize that the food requirements were different for people with Alzheimers. This is is an important part of their program. We made the right choice!

Since my father was diagnosed w- ALZ and dementia in 2017, I have found the staff of Magnolias of Chesterfield Memory Care to be sensitive and compassionate towards my father, Ralph Reavis Sr.s needs. I would highly recommend this community to any person who has a loved one that they are no longer able to care for at home. I have found that Magnolias of Chesterfield offers a home away from home for my father.

My Mom has been there a year. The staff has always been great and willing to help with whatever the family and my Mom needed. As her disease progressed the staff made changes to accommodate her needs. Stephanie the Director has been exceptional. She has worked very close with me to ensure my Mom was always taken care of. I highly recommend Magnolia if you find you need a place for a family member with dementia or Alzheimers.
