The staff is great and I know my dad is well taken care of here. The caregivers really care about him. It reassures me that I found him a great place and he is safe and cared for. Jessica went above and beyond for me before he moved in. Emma, Hector and his caregivers are amazing people who always keep me updated on him.

As primary care taker for my mum I could not see her go somewhere where the memory care was less than what I would provide. Vitality living is a home filled with loving family and an extension of my mother’s biological family. We went through many places to find this miracle. The aids are the most caring and truly loving people. I am grateful every day to have found Vitality living because unlike other places, there is a walk in anytime policy that only the finest establishment can offer because they know their care is of a constant high standard. In building relationships with my mother’s aids (Vitality Living family) they always express how much they love working there. My mother had not smiled in any other care center until she care here and this makes me cry with joy. My biological family has been expanded, and mum’s room is just a bit further down the hall. ❤️ ❤️❤️

Questionable hiring and firing practices. They only hire foreigners as staff because no one else will work for such low wages. Underpaid overworked staff. Good people they just cant get to all the residents as they would like to. I would be hesitant to be a resident there. I think for the prices they are paying they deserve better.

Cant say enough about the entire team here. The care given to our father was the best of the best. We could not have found a better place for his care. So thankful for everyone

Brookdale Arlington Pecan Park is an amazing place for a loved one. I moved my mother from another facility in Arlington (I had a lot of trouble at that other facility) to Brookdale and she has thrived there. The staff at Brookdale is not only fully trained and professional, but they have a heart and truly care for their residents. I am amazed each day by their dedication, caring and passion towards excellent care for our loved ones. They treat my family like their own family. My mom is their mom! I can sum this up with "Wow" and thank you to the entire Brookdale team for helping my mom and making life better for all of us. I am forever grateful. Steve Burke

I have visited this retirement home every 4 months for 2 years now. I am consistently impressed with the attentive and polite staff. The residents are varied in age and mental “with-it-ness” but they all seem healthy. It’s certainly not cheery, but this is understandable considering they are managing the aged and mentally vulnerable. They have various floors and levels of care management. They have less managed residents and then some in the 24/7 round-the-clock párkinson floor to care for residents who need constant assistance. The dining room offers decent food and restaurant style service. It’s not going to compete with any local restaurant on yelp, but it gets a passing grade. Their real skill set (as it should be) is in its care of the residents. The facility is consistently clean, and in good repair. No large scuffs or stains which can make a place feel drabby. The staff can be found throughout. I have never had to search more than 10 steps before encountering someone to help. They smile and chitchat and know my relatives names and even some facts about each. They are not only courteous but trained to greet every person with eye contact and a how-do-you-do. I am very impressed and I only hope that I find myself in a facility as nice as this when it’s my turn. Your work is appreciated Brookdale.

Brookdale has been a Godsend for my father. Their staff is extremely well trained, kind and caring. Colleen, the director, is unparalleled in her compassion for residents and their families. She has very high expectations for everyone on the staff, and they are all amazing. I have to say that it feels as though the people who work there feel a calling to do what they do. Not saying everyday is easy, but the compassion for each individual shows.

I liked Brookdale. It has independent and assisted living. The staff was very nice; they have nice balconies and courtyards for the summer. The dining room has nice linens, tablecloths, and china. The layout was nice. Everything was nice except I didn’t like the bedrooms. There’s nothing in the room except the bed, dresser, and TV. The bed didn’t look comfortable either, and it looked like a cot.

I liked Brookdale Arlington's location. The building was nice, clean, and well maintained. The manager or sales representative we met was very pleasant.

Brookdale Arlington just didn’t feel right to me. I am not looking to buy-in anything. I'm not sure if the information I got is correct, but you have to buy-in. I am not interested in doing that and I do not want an assisted living. When I got there they were very busy and they were unable to take us around. I did see the lobby and the dining room only. You must make an appointment, we just walked in and it was not a very good idea.

I liked Brookdale Arlington (formerly Emeritus at Arlington) very much, but they did not have skilled nursing care and they said they couldn't take care of my sister after they evaluated her. It was very nice. I liked the rooms that they showed me. It seemed a little more institutionalized than I wanted, but all in all, it looked very clean. I was pleased with it. I would've put her there had they accepted someone with her problems.

My Aunt is currently living in Brookdale Arlington. The staff was helpful and the rooms and apartments were fine too. What impressed me most is their individualized kind of care. Overall, the facility was good.

I actually went and visited Brookdale Arlington several times. Every time I went, the staff was very helpful, attentive, and very pleasant. There is a good number of staff. They are helpful with me seeing all the residents. I actually moved my dad in there, so we are very pleased with all the staff and the program that they offer.

It was a very nice place, and my visit was very pleasant. The woman was very helpful and answered all my questions, and I like her approach. When I needed to go to a place, Brookdale Arlington (Formerly Emeritus at Arlington) is the kind of place I would certainly go to. I was very favorably impressed and well treated. The environment seemed very friendly, and the staff were very good. I have nothing but compliments for them. They have all kinds of activities, but I'm pretty much a reader, so I'm not going to be interested in many of the activities that they have. The rooms seemed small to me, but I understand the need for that. I'm just not used to that; I'm used to having more space. I would probably get a one-bedroom if I went there. The facility, the location, and the rooms were fine. It's just a couple of blocks from the Metro Station, which would be very important to me.

I had been to Emeritus before. They had in-home in the facility or some of the staff was available for the PT. It was bringing in PT that was a plus in our consideration. The attitude was good when we went around seeing the different residents because we probably bumped into more residents there. The staff was calling them by names that they preferred. It was creating a neighborhood and an atmosphere of family type thing; that was outstanding. It was very clean, and the rooms were appropriate for the needs of my particular client at that time.

Emeritus at Arlington was gorgeous. At the end of visitation, my comment was that I would stay there. It was beautiful -- the lobby and the dining room for the residents. It really was a beautiful place, but it was out of our budget for my mother. Their rooms were like little apartments. If you have a single room, it is a good size room with a private bath. If you have a roommate, it is not a shared bedroom. It is two bedrooms. There was always something for people to do.
