There don’t seem to be very many recent reviews here on Google, so I figured I’d share my experience for anyone looking for up-to-date information on this place. Escalante of Draper is an absolutely wonderful home. After my mom survived a terrible fall (and subsequent stays in the ICU and rehab hospital) I toured seven different assisted living facilities before choosing this place. The one big difference was that the director introduced me to the residents and let me get their perspective before making a decision. The staff are now slowly becoming like family to me. They bend over backward for their residents, and believe me- my mom was about as cranky as a person could be when she showed up, and often still is. They have offered her endless patience and love. Her second night there, the MAs made rounds to bring bedtime snacks and check on her. I was leaving from a visit, but heard my mom’s helper Rene say, “Good night- I’m so glad you’re here- we love you!” One evening she walked out in the hall to ask for headache medicine and the chef was the first to see her, ran right to the med tech to alert him. When she felt uncomfortable with an outside home health nurse (not an employee of Escalante) helping her with showers, the MAs and nurse on staff told her, “You just say no, I’m uncomfortable, and press your call button for one of us to come be with you. We never want you to feel forced into something, or nervous, or scared.” They give my mom dignity, respect, and they communicate with me. When she had a bad memory day and wandered off the property, they gently helped her, then called and texted me immediately (thank you Michelle.) They gave me the chance to talk with her first, so as not to make her feel embarrassed, and they continue to monitor her cognition. Making the choice to move a loved one into an assisted living facility can be very difficult, but finding this place felt like an anvil was lifted off my shoulders. Brad, Shauna, Jenny- the entire kitchen staff, all the MAs and med techs- they’re just wonderful. I know particular management teams can make a difference, so hopefully this crew sticks around and gets the proper recognition for the incredible work they do. If you’re interested in this place, call Shauna and talk with her. She answered about a thousand questions, let me cry in her office, and kept her promise that my mom would be taken care of. Can’t thank her, and everyone at Escalante of Draper, enough.

I absolutely love Escalante at draper. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a smile from the receptionist. Their staff is always willing to go above and beyond for the residents. Escalante has a beautiful facility that is well maintained that makes you feel at home. This is a wonderful place to intrust the care of your family members.

There is a Culinary Arts Director who has been with Escalante for over 16 years her name is Lupe, and her loyalty and hard work does not go unnoticed. She keeps everyone’s diets organized, and treats the residents like they’re her own. She is truly a blessing to Escalante.

I Love Escalante of Draper! I visit there pretty often. Everyone there is so kind and makes me feel welcome. The people who live there always look so happy. I can tell they are well cared for. The building is clean and always smells really good. I can tell the employees there love their jobs. Highly recommended!

It had been a couple years since I last visited Wentworth At Draper. I couldnt believe how incredible it looked and felt. Steve and the team there have done an incredible job in such a short difficult period of time. I look forward to each visit and the happy compassionate faces I see.

Ive worked here since March of this year, as a housekeeper and I gotta say this is by far THE BEST place Ive ever worked. The job atmosphere is so positive all the time; everybody is always willing to help each other, the food is really good, the managers are always there for you and the whole staff care about the residents like if they were their own relatives. Overall, is an amazing family! So proud and happy to be a part of this awesome team 🙂

Wentworth staff have done a great job taking care of my moms needs and keeping us informed. My mom says its a good place to live for her. Her nurse Jenna takes the time to text me to let me know how things are going. I appreciate that very much!

The Wentworth at Draper is a wonderful community. Steve, the Executive Director, leads an incredible team. They do a great job of keeping the residents entertained and busy with fantastic activities. The Director of Memory Support, Maddie, is absolutely incredible. She is great with the residents and is so creative with the activities.

I have a special love for Wentworth At Draper. Its a very dynamic community that offers more than most! It has a history of collecting incredible people. Matt and Steve are driven to make this world a better place and they are making the community at Draper so much the better. Constance and Andrea are always so welcoming and willing to help. Lupe has a heart of gold (and the most beautiful smile) and feeds me the most delicious meals when I visit. Cheren and Saunders are always so happy and helpful. Rebecca goes the extra mile in life it seems (literally, she is the driver there :D) The care team is just that SO CARING!!

I have been a CNA-MedTech for around 5 years and I have loved it. Recently I began working at the Wentworth and it has been a pleasant surprise. Many buildings I worked at in the past had a revolving door of administration. While this caused issues with staffing and morale, the residents felt this lack of leadership the most. If you look at any reviews of assisted livings you will always find those that have had bad experiences. However, while there are those bad experiences there is a silent majority that have loved their homes and treatment at assisted living facilities.The Wentworth is not a perfect building, but none are. Where the Wentworth sets itself apart are the people. The administration work as a team to make the residents lives better. The CNAs are hardworking and willing to improve. The cleaning and kitchen staff do an amazing job, and Last but not least, the residents here are amazing.f you are looking for a future home for your family member, Wentworth is worth a look. Come visit us and see for yourself!

The Wentworth at Draper team is simply amazing! Dedicated, compassionate staff who go above and beyond beginning with the front line clinical staff of medtechs and CNAs, and includes housekeeping who ensures the buildings cleanliness. Housekeeping works tirelessly to make sure the building is warm and welcoming. The Food Services team also goes above the call of duty day in and day out. One example of this is the Food Services Director, Lupe, putting together a special anniversary dinner for a husband and wife who are residents at the Wentworth. She planned and surprised them with a candle lit meal, dinner music, flowers, and a delicious cake for dessert in the private dining room. They were so surprised and it meant a lot to them! That is just one instance, as there are many other examples of these above and beyond moments displayed throughout the Wentworth team on a regular basis. I am truly blessed to work here with wonderful people!

Its a very good place. The staff are kind and friendly. They have treated the patients very good. The place feels loving and welcoming with open arms. The place is very clean, never dirty. The food service is very good for the patients. I would recommend this place.

My mother lived at Wentworth at Draper for 6 years. So loved it and felt like it was home. The staff was attentive and very kind to her. I thought the food was average but she loved it. She had access to religious services, physical therapy (Randy was fabulous) and hair dressing services not to mention social events when she felt like she wanted to participate. It was easy to visit her and even take her out to a movie or dinner. It was difficult when COVID hit as we had just put her on hospice and could not see her in person. Just prior to her passing the end of June we had a hard time getting in to see her while she was still coherent. That would be my only negative experience with them. I understand their need to be cautious but my mother was dying, there was no longer a need to protect her. All in all I would recommend the Wentworth at Draper. It worked very well for my family

Having the opportunity to photograph the residents at The Wentworth at Draper brings me fun memories of my own mother when she was still alive. This community is so welcoming and I always feel right at home. Each time Ive visited I dont know whos more excited to see each other, myself for them or them for me! Being able to provide my photography services to capture such beautiful moments is a blessing.

I have worked in healthcare for many years. Part of my job is visiting all of the assisted livings in the valley. Theres good ones and bad ones out there. The Wentworth at Draper is a great one. The most important thing is the care provided by the staff. Every time I go there I see the love the staff has for their residents. The residents are active with things to do and they are happy and content. The director of nursing is full of life and has a lot of experience. She has implemented some very important programs and processes. Theres also a nurse on the memory care side. She is warm and caring. Its very rare to see two nurses in one building. This shows me the dedication they have to patient care. I could go on about all the members of their team. They wont let you down. I recommend this building as a place anyone can trust for those they love.

The Wentworth at Draper is such a great place to be for both Residents and Staff! Along with all of our great staff, we have an amazing Nurse, fantastic Business Office Manager, and an OUTSTANDING Executive Director. Our Executive Director truly goes out of his way to make sure that every resident and staff that is here in the building is happy. He is such a loving man with a great sense of humor! If you have time to stop by and check out The Wentworth, dont forget to stop in and say hi to Steve, the Executive Director. You wont regret it!

The Wentworth at Draper has a homey feel. Residents are friends with each other and staff encourage the friendships. Everyone is welcoming and have a passion for senior care. I want to give Kudos to Andi the nurse. She has worked hard over the last several months to help the staff be the best they can be. She has improved the care delivery at that community.

The staff at the Wentworth are amazing. They are friendly, welcoming, and treat their residents with kind, loving care. If we have any concerns about my mother, they are addressed immediately. The staff, in our opinion, goes above and beyond. My mother has lived there almost a year and we are extremely pleased that we found the Wentworth. We feel like there is not a better place in Salt Lake.

The staff are very dedicated to their work and taking care of the people who live at Wentworth. They genuinely care about the well being of the residents, you can see the relationships that have been built between residents and staff members. Housekeeping is wonderful, always willing to address any issues that may come up. They work hard to keep the building nice and clean. The residents are friendly and welcoming, which is great especially if you are the new person on the block. It is an easy community to get involved in, they always seem to have fun activities to attend. Overall The Wentworth is a fantasic Assisted Living and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

I stayed at another facility prior to coming to The Wentworth and I had many problems at that facility. Since coming here it's like I've found paradise! The spirit here is a healing spirit and the staff and people here are very kind. The staff wants you to do well here and it shows in all that they do. Everyone really wants to provide a first class healing environment. I feel very much at peace here, which allows me to relax and heal. The dining room staff provides excellent meals that are very tasty and pleasing to eat and they really care about what they're doing in there. This is a critical component since food is essential to our well being. I can't believe my good fortune to find a place like this that cares so much about me.

My mom loved this place. They were so accommodating and made her feel welcome. It was comforting to know that mom was in a safe environment with loving people. LeighAn, Lorretta, Sharon, and America are wonderful caregivers. After hearing horror stories about abuse of the elderly, it was nice to find a place that we trusted to take care of our mom. I wish she could have stayed forever, but Dad needed skilled nursing and she wanted to be with him.

My dad has been living in the Wentworth for 2 years. I don't have any complaints. They are friendly and kind and respond very quickly when I call. The food and the care is really good and the atmosphere is upbeat and not depressing. My dad said that everyone is very nice to him. I enjoy going to visit him at the Wentworth. They are just as kind to me. My dad feels right at home there. I have been very happy with all of the employee's.

The staff is amazing...everyone from housekeeping to the dining room, the nurse and the care staff our top notch. I have been very impressed with how long so many of the staff members have been employed at Wentworth at Draper, over 80% of the staff has been there over 6 years or longer, that shows a lot to me, additonally, they are very sweet and always willing to help.

My mother passed away at Wentworth Memory Care last month. The staff, especially the CNA's who took care of my mom were so amazing. I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my mom. I recommend Wentworth to anyone.
