My mother has been a resident here for about a year. We couldn't be happier with how well she has been treated. Her situation was difficult at first as she wasn't on board with needing care and assistance since she is such an independent individual. But the staff were able to build trust with her so much so that she accepts their help and care willingly and gladly now. She has lived at other facilities like this but never has she been happy with her care until now, which has been a relief and peace of mind for myself and the rest of her family. They have the magic touch to make her feel safe and at home. I would highly recommend Barrington Place to anyone with a loved one that needs care.

Amazing memory care facility! I am a nurse and have worked in many buildings from Brigham to south Jordan. This is a wonderful memory care unit. Residents can roam freely while still maintaining supervision at all times. The rooms are in the shape of a circle with big windows looking outside. There is a beautiful outdoor area with water fountain in the center of the building. Residents can go outside whenever weather permits. You can always find staff to help you. All staff have been welcoming, friendly, and caring. The staff to resident ratio is lower than most places so residents are not left waiting for help. The staff have activities going all the time to engage residents. Management and nursing staff are always willing to jump in and help out. I highly recommend this place for a loved one with Alzheimer/dementia.

I’ve seen a few care centers - even worked at one - this place is hands down better than the others I’ve seen or had a grandparent at. My favorite was watching how they’ve integrated my grandma into the activities - very much not her nature - she definitely needs encouragement. I walked in today for a visit and found an awesome activities person coloring with them then we played SkipBo and Uno together. My dad visits daily and had this to say about them “ It’s a very good home. Best we’ve found.”

My father has Alzheimers and we were instructed by his Doctor that he needed to live in a special care facility. Barrington Place was recommended to us by a social worker and I am so happy that we followed up on his recommendation. Barrington Place is wonderful in every capacity. The people are loving, the care is second to none, the prices are very reasonable and the home is beautiful. If you have a loved one that is in need of a special care center, you owe it to them and yourself to visit Barrington Place.

I have worked at other care centers through this general area and Barrington is by far the best one. The facility is beautiful, the kitchen staff know how too cook great meals, administration is always willing to help, housekeeping-laundry are wonderful, and overall we just have caring staff across the board. Being an all Alzheimers care facility it does have its challenges but I believe every staff member has their hearts involved and give it their all.

Barrington is the BEST place someone could place their loved one with this awful disease. Our family LOVES it and ALL the people. They are so good to them and they take the best care of them! The place is also brand new and clean. We would give Barrington a million stars if it was possible!

Im beyond grateful to be given an opportunity to be a part of this company-team. This is an amazing place, whether staff or loved ones being here, everyone is treated amazingly! I dont think I have been at a place or seen a facility that is so hands on with residents. Whether its an activity or someone coming in and singing and dancing with the residents , there is always a smile on everyones face. The management is exceptional and is always alert and always on the floor checking on residents or helping in any way they can. Barrington Is by far one of the best dementia-Alzheimers centers Ive been in and can proudly say I love everything about it.. =]

Barrington Place provides exceptional care to the residents and their families. Placing a loved one into the care of others is often a necessity when caregivers have exhausted themselves and can no longer provide the care their loved one requires. Often the caregiver has not taken care of themselves for so long their health is impacted and creates a gap in the care we want to provide to those we love. We as lay persons may be full of love for our family member, however we are not trained in the special needs for memory care and often not physically able to provide the proper support required for the best care to support their needs. Barrington Place provides this care in an exceptional way with the resident first and the families as part of that equation. The staff, care, food, laundry, facility cleanliness, and medical support are top notch. We often eat there with our loved one and are now able to enjoy him and his good days. On his bad days we know they have the patience and no expectation of him to be the person we remember, which often causes frustration and heartache for caregivers. They support him as he is for that moment with care and compassion. I cannot tell you how often I see the love the staff has for the residents by the care and words exchanged. Cannot say enough about the lovely caring and professional staff. We can see the residents in the context of their memory care needs and the compassion that makes their quality of life better. We have grown to love many of the residents and their families like our own and look forward to seeing each of them during our visits. Barrington Place fosters interaction and this sense of community which greatly enriches the lives of the residents and their unique needs.

I cant say enough about their staff and facility. They took great care of my Grandmother until the day she passed. My Grandmother was the first resident at the facility and I have watched the facility grow. It has been an amazing experience to see how loving and compassionate the staff are to each and everyone. I am a caregiver my self and toured many facilities in the area. Putting your loved one in a care facility is not a easy task. We choose this facility before it even opened because we felt it had great concepts and really understood how to take care of Alzheimers-Dementia. I have never looked back or regretted our decision. I am so glad that we selected the Barrington Place, they are hands down the best in the area!

I dont know where to begin with how truly amazing this facility and its staff are. My grandfather is now a past resident and I cannot impress upon anyone how incredible the care is at this facility. Barrington is far superior to any other memory care facility that Ive seen. The facility is clean, tidy, and smells nice. Each member of the staff knows so much about each individual patient; what makes them tick, what works to redirect a situation. Not only do they care so much for their patients, they care about their families too. They make you feel so warm and welcome. They are punctual with their duties and truly understand memory care. They are angels and an absolute blessing during the most difficult time in your loved ones life. God bless you all at Barrington Place. I appreciate the care, compassion, and love that you showed my grandfather (Jim K.) during his time with you. Keeping dignity in healthcare at the end of life is important, and you did just that. Thank you so much. You all deserve a raise.
