As the new Culinary Service Director I am excited to see what lays ahead in our Elevate Food Program! With over 10 years of experience in the food industry the process of properly training our chefs at Sage for the personal Chef experience is a challenge I know our residents will be excited for. With Food Demos, Signature Items, Special Holiday Meals & resident tailored daily menus Sage residents are in for a new palate experience. The atmosphere of the facility is very warming along with each of the residents! My fellow co workers are all very caring people who are very compassionate & always up for the teamwork in working together in the facility for the needs of the residents. Every Director brings their own special character which brings life to the facility. This is the first facility I have felt like home & not just a "job", so I know I will be looking forward to seeing these next years ahead!

I came to Texas to visit my sister and stopped by Sage Spring Senior living where she works as the Senior Vibrant Life Director. This facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and you can instantly tell how well taken care of the residents are. Porschee, the Senior Vibrant Life Director, pours her heart into every activity and event she does for the residents! The residents love her and really have an amazing quality of life because of Porschee's activities and her caring nature. Very awesome place!!

I realize I may be a bit biased because I've been here since the walls were going up, I'm James Mason the Senior Building Services Director here at Sage Spring Senior Living. I don't typically share things via the internet, but another employee who I shared an experience with this morning said "that is so amazing, I wish more family members could find that sense of ease during their transition." This was in reference to an experience I shared with a family member that came back in to deposit this morning after a tour yesterday. It was time to transition mom who shot holes in everything her kiddos were saying. I had the pleasure of meeting her & some of her family yesterday, and could immediately see that she was curious, but knew she thought she didn't want to be. This morning when family returned to deposit because we are almost 100% full, the since of relief, the fact that mom not only finally opened up real dialog on making a transition to assisted living last night, she really gave her family a since of comfort that she realizes she can make a home in a community like ours. That truly made my day when her daughter relayed that to me this morning. We are serious about our ideology on "this is their home", and we will do everything we can to make it so. I'm very blessed to experience these moments, I absolutely love what get to do every day. ~James Mason

Not only is Sage Spring a beautifully kept community inside & out, it has some of the most kind and professional staff I have ever had the pleasure of being introduced to. I am the evening concierge at Sage Spring Senior Living, and I've been working there since November 1, 2021. I would like to share my story, I'm a single mom, so I wanted to find something that would allow me a part time job and the flexibility to be with my little girl on the weekends. As soon as I walked into Sage Springs I felt an overwhelming feeling of love entering the community. All staff greeted me and were very welcoming and helpful. Fast forward to today months later, I found what I can call my second home. Working with all the residents on a daily basis and they thank you for being there for them and assisting them as they need help on items, is a thoughtful gesture to me but, the winner for me is when the resident will turn to me and tell me "they love me", that means everything to me, it means in that moment, I've helped them and made them feel cared for, this doesn't just come on my end, all the directors and all staff are the same. I can't begin to explain the constant times I see all staff (med techs, caregivers, wait staff, kitchen staff, and all the maintenance staff) go above and beyond for all the residents. Sage Spring has not only been a tremendous blessing for this single mom, but they are a blessing to all of our residents. Thank you Jennifer Lester and Jessica Salinas for giving me the opportunity to join the team at Sage Spring Senior Living! I am forever grateful and blessed for the amazing opportunity! We have recently visited Sage Spring. We were very impressed from the time we walked in the door. Everyone was very kind and immediately asked how they could help us. We sat with Lauren and talked about what we were looking for, and she seemed to really care about our situation. Looking at the community it was very clean, residents involved in activities, and the smell of the cooking from the kitchen was amazing. We would definitely recommend Sage Spring!

I have change my reviews of Sage Spring as my mother's required level of care has changed over the past year. She initially entered the facility as an "assisted living" resident and recently had to transition to "memory care". Jennifer Lester, the Executive Director, is a knowledgeable and professional leader of this facility. She oversees much and keeps the welfare of the residents at heart. As the "child" of an aging, failing parent it is often difficult to access their needs realistically. Jennifer skillfully and compassionately led us to the obvious conclusion that it was time transition mom to MC. The move has provided her with the greater attention and care she requires. The MC staff is sweet, understanding, compassionate and skilled. It's clear their hearts are all in for what they do. Why not 5 stars!? The "scoring" system that determines a residents level of care has been rather opaque and confusing to understand in the past. They say they're working on that and it will be improved in the new year.

I knew that my mother needed to be in a place that really cares about their residents. My mother needed an extra helping hand with her activities of daily living. Found it at Sage Springs Senior Living. Sage Springs provides assistance with my mom's daily activities and help coordinating services by outside healthcare providers to help to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of my mother. I love the fact that they encourage continued independence with assistance provided by their well-trained team members who are available around the clock, 24-hours a day. Sage Springs Senior Living is a great place and it's super clean. The staff is off the charts, from the top down to the maintenance man. They're really friendly, good, and they all look like they want to help. The activities director has a bubbly personality and they put activities up for the entire month. If you want to take advantage of the activities, you can, and if you don't, then you don't. The residents living there are very friendly. Highly recommend Sage Springs Senior Living in San Marcos, TX.

Such a great place for seniors ,from the beautiful building to the friendly staff I encounter going into the facility multiple times each week. The residents are happily busy with activities each day. I have never heard a resident complain about the food, instead they are taking pictures of it to show off how good their meal looked and tasted. Staff takes the time to get to know each resident which really makes it feel like a family .

My mom was the very first resident to move into Sage Spring Senior Living. From the time we toured while it was under construction until the time we moved her in, the customer service has been over the top. Amy is the best person you could ever want to have at the front. She always helps my mom with anything she could possible need, and I call on her often. If Amy can't, she knows who can and whatever we need, no matter how off the wall it is, she gets it done. From everything to helping mom with her iphone to send a picture, to helping her with a quilting project. It doesn't matter what my mom needs, everyone is very friendly and caring with my mom. And the food at Sage Spring is amazing. Mom was previously staying at a "high-end" facility in New Braunfels before we moved her here. The food was terrible there and we spent a lot of money for mom to stock her fridge and pantry with food so she could eat in her room and not the cafeteria. Or I would have GrubHub pick up meals from restaurants to deliver to her. Now at Sage Springs, she rarely misses a meal because the food is so good. I haven't ordered groceries for her since she's been here because she hasn't asked. That's HUGE! And she is a VERY picky eater. The facility itself is just gorgeous. Even I want to live here! We knew when it was under construction that it would be spacious and have a great layout. But when it was finished and decorated, it superseded all of our expectations. My mom is a leader in the gardening club and is always busy digging in the dirt and planting flowers and watering. It's nice that the garden area is enclosed in a large courtyard where there is privacy from the outside and has morning and evening shade. She can also see the beautiful courtyard from her apartment bedroom and living room. She is very happy when she can be outside with her garden. The staff and management here treat us like family when we come in to visit. They always remember our names and tell us what mom has been up to lately. I just can't imagine having her anywhere but here. All-in-all, I just cant say enough wonderful things about this place. I would break the internet because I have so much to say about it. In closing, our family sleeps better knowing mom is at Sage Spring Senior living, and I can promise you...so does my mom.
