Harbor Chase is heads above the others for Sr. Living care. From your first contact with Cory, to meeting Crystal, the head nurse to Ashley, the GM, to the front desk staff, to the kitchen staff to the caregivers and nurses ...there are not enough positive words to describe what an exceptional experience they provide for the seniors who are lucky enough to call this place home. Our father lived here for 14 months and needed a fairly high level of care and they were exceptional at providing and communicating all the things he required. We could not have asked for a better or more compassionate God filled place for him to call his final home here on earth.

My 83-year-old mother has been a resident of Harbor Chase for at least three years. While all retirement homes struggled during Covid, Harbor Chase came through with flying colors- and continues to do so. They provide fun activities, plenty of music, monthly festivals, love family visitors, and the staff is incredibly compassionate and love what they do! The location is incredibly close to our home and is somewhat of a boutique residence, exactly what we were looking for with assisted living for my mom. You pay a good penny for what you get, but I would highly recommend checking out Harbor Chase!

Austin was the acting director last weekend and was a tremendous help to me and my 88 year old mother. His compassion, concern and excellent communication skills were instrumental in making a sensitive situation so much easier for my mother. After looking extensively for a care facility for my Mom, HarborChase quickly jumped to the top of my list. All of the caregivers truly care for every single resident and will do anything they can to help. The administration team are very hands on and have done a wonderful job keeping me in the loop about my Mom. They have truly created a loving atmosphere for my Mom.

Larry and I toured Harbor Chase-McKinney with his mother yesterday and we knew we had found the perfect place for her when we saw how excited she was with her apartment. She sat in with a group of ladies putting together baskets for teachers and before long she fit right in and was talking and laughing.

HarborChase has been such a blessing for our family. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we were in a place with caring people. The staff has been amazing. From the first tour of the building to move in day, they were most helpful. Sloan made they change from our previous assisted living to HC seamless with the insurance company. The level of care is unsurpassed. The food is surprisingly great for an assisted living. That has been one of the most refreshing changes from the previous facility. I highly recommend HarborChase.

My best friend spent a little over three months at this excellent facility before succumbing to his illness. The entire staff, Ashley, Andrea, Shelley, Pat, Tamara, Sloan, Richard, and Darius all took my friend under their wings and made his last days as comfortable as possible. I have had previous experiences with my own family at several similar facilities and the all fail miserably in comparison. While I hope that my wife and I never have to take advantage of this kind of care, neither of us would want to be anywhere but Harbor Chase McKinney. When I realized that our loved one needed assisted-living care, I began the search. My desires for a good facility were broad and many, but I wasnt about to settle for second best. Here is a partial list of my criteria: Cleanliness, good food, varied activities and outings, committed staff, complete levels of care available as residents age, on-site nurse, community involvement, family interaction and the list goes on. Of course, the price each month had to be reasonable. I looked at 15 different facilities in the Richardson, Dallas and Plano areas. I saw places I would never let my loved one go into. I worried that my loved ones needs and my standards were never going to be met at a fair price. Then one day I visited HarborChase in McKinney. This facility was exactly what I had been looking for and more. As we toured around and I met several staff members, I was struck by the happiness and positive atmosphere created there. It was comfortable to be around everyone and I knew right away this was the place I could trust to take over caring for our familys loved one. After a long meeting with the executive staff, all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. We then took our loved one to check out the place and look at a beautiful studio apartment with a patio. He was hooked immediately and HarborChase became his home and our second home. We have never looked back, and our entire family is so grateful to the caring staff for always, every day, going the extra mile to ensure everything promised to us is delivered. Vicki Moore 5 stars
