Senior Helpers has made a wonderful difference in our lives. My husband, who has dementia and Parkinson’s, looks forward to the days he spends with our incredible and reliable caretaker. They plan all kinds of activities such as: workouts, grocery shopping, haircuts, restaurants; she takes him to doctor appointments and comes back with detailed notes for me; and she’s even had her children teach her how to play gin rummy so she and my husband can spend afternoons matching their skills at his favorite card game. Above and beyond our caretaker though is the incredible support we received from the Owner/President of Senior Helpers, Eduardo Visbal. He has spent hours and hours with us not only to make sure we had a good match with our caretaker’s personality, but also to help with our long-term insurance claim. When we had given up, he refused to, even getting on the phone with them to discuss our case. After six months we were finally approved, something we credit to him solely. We could not have chosen a better care service company and as my husband’s disease progresses, we are confident they will continue to meet our needs.

This was our first encounter looking to get in-home support to help us with mom. Eduardo was professional, genuine and very informative of what we should expect with mom’s illness. He explained the gems program, which is very helpful, checked in on mom and the family and walked us through the support we could get. While we ultimately decided to make long term arrangements to move mom to FL, Eduardo and his team still worked on getting us short term support. I highly recommend seeking out Senior Helpers for support services for loved ones suffering from dementia living at home.

Making the decision and going through the process of deciding your loved one requires the skilled services of a care taker in order to remain in their home is not an easy transition for your loved one or the ones responsible for insuring your loved ones care. Senior Helpers, more importantly, Eduardo, patiently guided our family through this process and gave us the comfort and tools we needed during our decision process. He was very knowledgable regarding making a claim with our long term care insurance company and what VA benefits my father might be Eligible for. We are very Grateful for his patience, guidance, availability and willingness to get my Dad the support he needed.

I can’t say enough good things. My mom has Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. She is not always easy to be around. All of the staff to interact with my mom are amazing. They really work hard to make sure that you are matched with someone that not only fits your loved one but also fits your family. I really appreciate that. I would recommend them to anyone and they have very competitive rates in fact lower than a lot of places.

The best company to have take care of your love one like u would want someone to take care of you. Truly a blessing! Great customer service, very reliable, always on time, always professional and loving caregivers. The bonus was it is very affordable and they also work with my budget and gave me payment options. I must say that this company shows compassion and consideration for staff and clients. Ly and Sarah are very inviting and always understanding. Ive never been to a company that actually shows they care. Although I havent been here long I feel that I can learn so much more. They are hands on as well as pairing staff with client-patient. I would recommend anyone that has the quality that I have received from them.
