Today Rodney Rasberry played. So much fun. The residents love it. Smiles everywhere. Marcus and JP took care of everyone. Brit made sure the event was a success and then they took the residents on a scenic tour. Just a fabulous place

My Uncle has been a resident at the Belmont for the past year and a half. We were very blessed to have had the help of all of the staff to make his transition from the hospital to the Belmont seamless. As I live and work in Dallas, many of the details had to be taken care of by phone or email. It was a great comfort to know that they were there to help in any way possible. He is doing much better now, and I attribute a part of this to the Belmont staff. It is a great relief to know that he has all of his meals prepared. (He says the food is quite good!) He enjoys the company of other residents and occasionally joins in the community activities they provide. He is provided with transportation to any doctor visits, his laundry is done, and his room is the perfect size for him. Living in a different city, all of these things mean the world to me. The few times that there has been a problem, they get in touch immediately There is no business that hasn't experienced challenges in the past couple of years. The Belmont continues to make improvements and changes for the better and that's what counts. I look forward to my next trip to visit him as they treat family members very well!

We moved both of my parents to the Belmont from another senior living community because our father really needed memory care and our mother was completely exhausted and isolated trying to care for him on her own. It was the best thing we could have done for them. As our father’s needs have changed, the staff have created a completely individualized plan for him to be in a safe place, engaged in activity that he enjoys, while our mother is able to participate in the activities and programs that she really needs and enjoys. They are much less isolated and far happier, now. The staff have all just been lovely. They are well-trained, experienced, and love the work they do. They are so good with our parents — they really know them and notice changes. They know when it’s time to tweak Dad’s programming because they can tell that Mom is more stressed and Dad is more agitated. There is always something going on at the Belmont, and they go all out every time. For the 4th of July, the whole place was covered in red, white, and blue — including the complementary face masks that are at the check-in table. A few days before that, they had a casino night — everything and everyone on staff was in red and black. They had an Elvis Impersonator, a special menu, and the whole nine yards. The memory care wing is set up based on the current research about what is most helpful for dementia patients — a circular layout so residents will always eventually come back to the place they started, an interior garden/courtyard so that they can freely and safely go outside and enjoy the sun, birds, etc.. There are outings to interesting places every week — like museums, performances, gardens, etc. and a whole slew of activities on campus, too, plus exercise classes (including water aerobics), and happy hour with live music on Thursdays. The Belmont has really been a blessing.

I cannot tell enough how much I appreciate each and every single staff member at The Belmont. It has been so difficult not being able to see my mother regularly, but the staff does an exceptional job working magic to make sure we can connect. I know she is happy there because she is always cheerful on the phone. You are all rock stars!

Caring
Belmont Village West University is very nice, bright, and sunny. There are open spaces, and it's very clean. The dining room and common areas area very nice. I'm so impressed. Everybody was so friendly and caring, and everyone knows everybody's name. They have a group in assisted living called Circle of Friends for people with early dementia and not part of the memory care unit. They have chair exercises every morning and discussion groups. They also have activities all day and movies all night, and there's a lot of things listed on the bulletin board.

Caring
My aunt chose Belmont Village West University because she knew people who had lived there and loved it. The food, memory care, and the way they take care of the medicine were very important for what we needed for her. They have a pal system where my aunt has a pal who reminds her to eat and take her medicine. The staff has been outstanding. My aunt is extremely agitated and angry, but they have helped me be able to do things for her and work around those limitations. They've been very accommodating. Caroline, in charge of sales, Bruce, head of nursing, and the front desk staff have been great. My aunt's pal, Bobbie, has been wonderful working with her. Theyve just remodeled everything, so it's nice and clean. Food is excellent, presentation is good, and there are lots of selections. If they only want to eat half a sandwich and take half of it back to their room to eat later, they'll send somebody to do that. Their snack bar is very comprehensive and I like the way all of it is done. They have a set menu but you can ask for separate things, and it's not gourmet but it's very good food. They have tried to include my aunt in activities and she has gone to a few of them. They have lots of things to do. They have lectures in the museum and go out. Everything we've seen has been good. They're delivering on everything we're paying for, and it's still expensive but what we're asking them to do is expensive.

Caring
They were pretty good people, and they seemed supportive. I think they can help you out an awful lot. The rooms at Belmont Village were average homey. You can interact with the other people who were there, and I think they had Internet access and things like that. The area was good, and it gave me good vibrations for that location.

Caring
Belmont Village was well secure, and the people were very nice. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They had one floor that was very secure, and they had like independent rooms and a lunch area. They had a nice view at the back, and the yard is really big. The dining room was very nice and very clean. They had activities like reading, TV watching, dominoes, and puzzle games.

Caring
Belmont Village was beautiful. I was very impressed, but it's too far away from home, so we would never consider it. On all points, it was exemplary. You could just put a check mark all the way across. It was a wonderful place, but I would never consider it. It's too far away.

Caring
Our mother has resided at Belmont Village for four years, first in Assisted Living and now in The Neighborhood (memory care). The management team has helped us determine her best care plan as she has aged and her needs have increased. The caregivers and nurses are excellent, we have great confidence in their compassion and expertise. We are pleased that we chose Belmont Village after considering many options, and we value our ongoing trust and confidence in the care they provide to our mother.

I visited the Belmont Village. I saw some of the smaller apartments there. I thought it was OK. Its not brand new, but its very clean. The staff was nice. The residents looked happy. It was a good experience.

Caring
My father is living at Belmont Village West University right now. His wife was the one who found the place and everything like that, and when I come into town, I come and visit him. I guess the room is fine for him. He doesn't seem to be negative. He seems to be happy there. Everyone there seems nice and that's about it.

Caring
Belmont Village is our first choice. They have the basic services of assisted living. I just like everything about it the food, the facility and the accommodation. It has the best overall package from the facilities I saw. It's a little bit expensive but we really liked them.
