It is SO refreshing to know the new team of managers are making MAJOR improvements! We didnt have the best experience with the previous executive director, but with changes in management, my family and I have witnessed firsthand the love and compassion our mother and the rest of the residents are receiving! Ryan, the new director, is wonderful and you can sense its in his heart to take care of our mother with the best care possible! The nurse, Cynthia, is EXREMELY knowledgeable, caring and great with communicating with me and my family! We are at ease now knowing our mother is being provided with exceptional care! Would I have recommended this community a few months back..NO. Do I recommend this place now..YES!!

I highly recommend you stay away from this facility. So disappointing to see residents being neglected (lack of staff, lack of dispensing of medications properly/daily, lack of hygiene care, lack of housekeeping and activities). We're paying good money to ensure that our family member is taken care of and that's not happening here. New ownership and it shows. Sodalis Garden Ridge was great but not the new name Graceland Garden Ridge. Beware!

Good location but not enough to overcome lack of staff and lack of safety. The meals there are nothing to crow about. The staff turnover is like the fast food industry, here today and gone tomorrow.

So thankful how the Executive director went out his way to look out for our mother and makes sure she is well taking care and he is always available to help me and my family when needed, it's a great place so peaceful and full of caring fun. The people that live there seem so happy and at home

Sodalis at Garden Ridge before had a activity coordinator that it seem that she was there for the pay and not the resident but finally Rick got that beautiful and lovely secretary in bridges job and she has put residents first and we see even memory care participating great job corporate on getting this wonderful lady in that position and turn this facility around that even the nurse Leah comes out and participate and know takes the phone calls from hospice great job Sodalis for the great job you all doing for this resident giving them a second chance in life

I have not been to Sodalis Garden Ridge personally but my father is at Sodalis Stone Oak where the new Executive Director Ricky Leonard just came from. Ricky has been such a blessing not only to my father but to myself and our family. He took in my father and all the residents of the memory care center as his family and cared for them with all his heart and soul. I honestly don't know how we could have made it through the transition without his care and support. Though we were sad to hear Ricky was leaving our community we could not think of anyone else more deserving and qualified to take over as Executive Director. Garden Ridge is in the best of hands!!!

Sodalis Garden Ridge is in the perfect spot and it's so nice on the inside the staff is do compassionate and gentle with our love ones that live there..They where in church the other day and the residents have election posters up in building for one of them to be the mayor or the assistant living how fun that is for them..The executive Director is a real earth Angel..

I have had my parents at Sodalis Garden Ridge since Nov 2018. I picked the facility because I needed one that had both memory care (for my Mom and Assisted Living for my Dad) they took real good care of my Mom as she declined with Alzheimers. They were very accommodating with allowing my Mom to have a room outside memory care so that Dad could be close to her (she couldnt walk so wasnt a flight risk). Mom passed in Oct 2019 and the staff was very supportive of the family and especially my Dad. The staff is very caring with the residents and have been very good during the COVID19 pandemic and the lockdowns. They are very good at staying in touch with family members when something happens or my Dad needs medication refills. They have had turnovers with staff as most places do but some have been there a long time. I would recommend Sodalis Garden Ridge for your live ones the arent perfect but the do there best.

what can I say about Garden Ridge.. well we have a wonderful team.. the residents are a one of a kind. I love my job as the Wellness Director it keeps me on my toes, but the love & bond not just with each other but with the families I cant say enough about this place, great support.. country living at its best.. We have a great new leader Domingo Medina as the E.D. and Candace Logan LED back doing what she loves.. Mike Odom Head Chef he always makes sure everyone has a great meal.. oh I cant forget Richard Robles our maintenance man we sure keep him busy..I wouldnt change a thing.. the love for the residents by the staff is unconditional.. we work as a team side by side.. thank you Sodalis for giving me a chance to show you what I can do. its going on 3 yrs being here.. & I hope I can do another 3 years.. Sodalis Strong & God Bless

Superb staff! Always helpful, especially during the COVID times. Our mom has been in two assisted living facilities, and Sodalis is by far the better. They have the residents needs in their sight all the time and communicate well with the family. It has been a blessing to us with our mom living at Sodalis.

I have always loved Sodalis Garden Ridge, even when it was Graceland. The rocking chairs on the front porch were always so inviting. When my mom needed a place to stay, this was the first place I came to. Mom loves the deer, squirrels, and many birds to watch. Each room has a bay window with a country view. The fireplace in the living area is very cozy on the cold winter days. The cooks there are great! The meals are tasty, and the meals always smell so good when you come to visit. The staff is happy, courteous, professional. Thank you Sodalis for all that you do. Carolyn Faught

My Grandmother in law is here. Shes 94 and has all her mental faculties. Shes not ambulatory, but gets around pretty good in her scooter and wheel chair. She reported that theres no attendees on grave shift! Like, at all. She pulled the emergency cord in the bathroom, and a Garden Ridge PD showed up to help?! Uhhh...is Sodalis helping pay for the added support of GRPD night shift backup? Taxpayers? Other than that its been good.
