BrightStar Care of Friendswood has been providing excellent care for my mother in the comfort of her own home for about 18 months now. The office staff is always prompt to respond to any questions or change of care needs we may have.My mother has had several excellent caregivers during her time with BrightStar, and her current caregiver, Sherry, is absolutely wonderful!! She has gotten to know my mothers likes and dislikes and looks out for her welfare in so many ways. I know that Mom is very happy to have someone so caring come in to help her with her day-to-day needs and this gives our family peace of mind.

BrightStar Care Friendswood offers excellent service to clients. From its professional administrators to my husbands caring caregiver, Darleen, theyve proven to be a lifeline to me. When talking to Bright Star about providing a caregiver for my husband who has Alzheimer, I wanted the person to be patient, kind, friendly and fun. The fun and friendly personality was desirable to match my husbands own personality during his periods of mental clarity. Darlene met those qualifications perfectly. Their 1st meeting was filled with laughter and talking as if they were old friends. Darlene also provides the help he needs with such a pleasant attitude. BrightStar listened to my needs and supplied just what I wanted.

What a great company! Brightstar Care of Friendswood stepped in when my family needed it the most. We were lost and didnt even know where to begin in choosing a home health agency. BrightStar provided us information on what to look for in different companies and how to pick the right one. BrightStar Care of Friendswood is a wonderful company that has gone above and beyond for my family. After my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimers, we struggled to find a caregiver that understood the disease and how to take care of someone with this diagnosis. After doing some research, we found that BrightStars caregivers are specifically trained on Alzheimers and Dementia. We have been very happy with the services provided and would highly recommend this company!

The most knowledgeable and caring staff around! I have a very complicated wound and the nurses change the vac very efficiently. Thanks to Nurses McKenzie, Jordan, and Emmilie for their flexibility in scheduling and promptness in arriving to my appointments. Brightstar is the best!

My experience with BrightStar could not have been better. They were incredibly responsive to our tight time frame for getting started, continued to stay in contact throughout the transition process, and dealt well with my mom (who can be a pain to manage). If you are looking for home care for a loved one I cant say enough good things about this company! The care they have provided for my parents has allowed them to stay in their home of 47 years and allowed me to return to work with peace of mind knowing that they are well looked after and that all their needs are met. I am comforted in the fact that I can call anytime of day and someone will answer the phone and that BrightStar will call me if any changes were to arise with either of my parents.

Our experience with BrightStar has been very, very good. My mother is 94 and we have used their services for 3 to 4 years now. My mom had one consistent care provider under the prior owners and one consistent provider under the current owners. In both cases —- the caretakers have been outstanding. Extremely pleasant and extremely professional. We have no complaints —- and, we hope these employees are compensated well for all the hard work that they do. As a caretaker myself of a Dad that had Alzheimers for 21 years and of my mom that is now 94 —- I can tell you that it is the hardest job ever ... and, a thankless job. I believe it important for family members to communicate with the caregivers and build a report with them. Communication, before criticism, is paramount. It is a HARD job. I believe strongly that if you work with the caregivers and collaborate ... you will find that you are helping them to help you and your loved one. The caregivers that we had and now have are very receptive —- they want to help! In my moms case right now —- she is resisting the additional help because she wants to keep her independence. The dynamics of caretaking is COMPLEX. Every patient is different, every caregiver is different, family dynamics of the patient can be complex, every illness is different —- it is complicated. Communication is PARAMOUNT. Give BrightStar a chance. Our caregivers have been beyond stellar ... and, I will keep voting for ours to get The Employee of the Year until she gets it!!! The office staff has always readily taken my calls and assisted with scheduling. But ... again, communication is PARAMOUNT. These are my words as a 20+ year caretaker of a Dad with Alzheimers and a mom that is now 94. It is HARD. Your caretaker may do things a little differently than you ... but, they may get the same results as you —- let them. BRIGHTSTAR provides me a much needed daily respite from a very prolonged job of caregiving. I am grateful to them. They have been instrumental in restoring quality of life to me and my family. Work with them ... be kind to them —- after all ... they are taking care of your loved one. KARMA can be good
