Highland Estates has been an excellent place for my parents. Staff and neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. Apartments are nice, safe, and clean. They have enjoyed the activities, library, Exercise room and many new friends. It’s nice for them to keep their independence but have their meals and housekeeping taken care of.

We have lived at Highland since August 2022, and have met so many nice people. That includes management, staff and residents. We are very pleased and happy to live here.

Our mother moved into Highland Estates right before Thanksgiving, so about 3 months ago. We fell in love with the staff and the place on our first visit, so the next weekend we brought mom. She also loved her tour and the people here. She's in a studio on the 1st floor and is close to dining, laundry, mailroom, activity room and the outdoors. It's a great place and we love that there's 3 meals prepared daily. We ate Thanksgiving dinner there the following week of her move in. Delicious food!!!! Mom really likes the food too! The staff is very good with the residents and very helpful no matter what your or the resident's needs are. We highly recommend Holiday Highland Estates (Senior Living Apartments) if you have a loved-one looking for a new home. The amenities are endless! The residents are friendly and helpful too! You can rely on the staff for help anytime. They will get back to you quickly if you call, text, or email them. We are extremely happy our mom moved here! A special thanks to Rena' and Kevin in the office for their never ending support!

HIGHLAND ESTATES IS GREAT INDEPENDANT LIVING FACILITY FOR MOSTLY OVER 65 RESIDENTS, THE FOOD IS PREPARED BY CHEFS AND IS DELICIOUS, THE STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL AND ACCOMMODATING. THE BUILDING IS CLEAN AND STAFF KEEPS YOU BUSY AND OUT OF YOUR ROOM TO BE WITH OTHERS. The staff was friendly, the tour was thorough, the exterior was well maintained. The inside was a bit dated, but well maintained. The pricing and amenities were well above expectations and the residents appeared happy. Trisha did a great job in presenting and answering all my questions.

My father in maw had been at a Holiday facility in Indiana, so we had high expectations- which were met. Facility was pleasant, open and airy. Landscaping was trimmed (a good sign). Halls were free of clutter. Programs have been curtailed with spacing due to covid. The dining area was opened on a rotating basis w proper spacing. Guests seemed happy. Staff were friendly and informative. Many different room layouts. Was quite impressed.

The dining hall has plenty of room for the residents and their guests, the staff are very friendly and the restrooms are clean.

My father is now a resident at Highland Estates. He is in a lovely apartment with new flooring and carpeting. He was aided in getting a fence and having it installed by the office managers there. They helped him install a shower extension, a land line phone and are even finding him a taller chair to be comfortable in the dining room. They even placed phone calls for him until his phone was installed. When he first arrived they introduced him to other residents that they felt he had things in common with and even found him a dog walker. My dad is so happy there and it is because of how everyone (especially Trish) go above and beyond to make sure there resident are happy in their new homes.

I love this community! Every time I walk in there is always a group of residents sitting on the couches laughing and having a good time. This place has so many fun events planned for the residents (fashion shows, bingo, Wii bowling tournaments, ect.) The building is beautiful and the staff is always extremely helpful.

This is from my wife, Mary Ann Shatwell. This facility, the management, the staff and even all the residents are first class! We moved our parents here in Oct. of 2012 and loved every minute we spent there! We lost our Dad in 2016 and moved Mom to a smaller apartment down the hall and only recently had to move Mom because she now needs 24, 7 care. We miss Highlands so much! It may sound cliché, but we always thought of all the folks at Highlands as Family. From day one, they welcomed us, treated our parents and all our family members with respect and dignity, were always kind, caring, understanding, helpful, compassionate, and accommodating. The facility is always super clean, the landscaping is really pretty and well kept, and they put up fabulous decorations for every holiday. Their meals are always delicious and varied with lots of choices, and the chef and wait staff always greet each resident by name. Our family often booked the activity room for our large family gatherings and there was always plenty of space and the kitchenette made having family parties really easy to manage. We all enjoyed playing pool on the second floor with our Dad, watching movies in the movie room, doing puzzles or reading in the library, and always enjoyed sitting outside in the rockers and enjoying a cup of free coffee and fresh cookies at 3:00 every day! The apartments are all really nice and are well maintained, and having laundry rooms on each floor was super convenient. Even the maintenance man was a super guy! And they have activities and, or great entertainment every day, and especially around the holidays. My parents especially loved all the musical entertainment they always provided! My parents always felt safe and special while they lived there and loved interacting with the managers, staff, and residents. They would always say….This is such a great place. We love it here! The managers, especially, were just super people who gave us a lot of guidance and were instantly available to assist with any health or medical issues. Unfortunately, the new place we moved Mom to just does not compare in any way to Highlands, and we hate that we had to leave there. We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the management and the staff for all the wonderful memories we have from our time at Highlands. They made our parents last years super enjoyable and comfortable and happy, and our family rested easy knowing they were at such a great place. My brothers and sisters and I all hope to move into Highlands when we get a little older! Id give it 10 stars if I could!

Highland Estates is an Awesome place for your mom and dad to call home. The price is a huge value for what you are getting! Ive met many many sales managers and Tricia stands out from the rest. You can tell she loves her residents because of the way she helps them. She makes Highland Estates a very special place to be. Claudia the Activities Director always has a full calendar for the residents to do fun activities and build relatioships with the other residents. You can tell Bryan takes a big interest in the residents to make their stay a happy one. Curtis in the maintenance dept is very on top of any issues in the building.
