I currently work here at Avenir, in Activities dept...I truly look forward to going to work!! Best job Ive had. I have flexibility in my hours and a lot of room to be Creative! I get to work-out with residents in the a.m., and then plan very meaningful classes and events for the latter part of the day. The residents themselves are all so nice and very interesting to listen to. Its a real joy and I feel Ive made friends for life with the ppl there.

I have been in the field for 20 years and this is by far one of the best facilities Ive worked at! I am a current employee and have been here almost a year. This facility is very resident focused and tailored to meeting the needs of the various levels of cognitive decline. We have a very committed, caring, and unified staff. Everyone enjoys their job and it shows! I definitely recommend this facility as a place for your loved one or to work.

Avenir Memory Care is dedicated to serving those with Dementia and Alzheimers related diseases. The staff are caring, compassionate, and dedicated memory care professionals who have been trained and educated to deal with people who have memory care issues. The building is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with memory care in mind. They have a wide variety of activities to meet the interests and needs of the residents. The residents rave about the food and how tasty it is. The mission and vision of Avenir is truly extraordinary. If your loved one needs memory care services, this is the place to be!

Clarity Pointe provides such a wonderful home to so many who deal with all forms of Dementias. It is a well run and beautiful community filled with a staff who care deeply about their residents and their families. As an owner of a home care agency for seniors, I have the opportunity to experience many of the communities in the area, and I would rate Avenir as one of the best. I wouldnt have any hesitation having this be home to my loved one.

Fortunately, I dont have a loved one or friend that is a resident at Avenir. I do have a very close personal friend that works there. Over the last six months, I have seen her put in countless hours supporting not only the Avenir community, but those communities and organizations associated Alzheimers, like Alzheimers Tennessee, and caring for the elderly. Her efforts have even inspired me to take a more vested interest in supporting these communities and organizations as well. During this same time period, I have had the opportunity to tour (not lately) and meet several of the members of the Avenir staff. During my tour(s), I was extremely impressed by the level of attentiveness and personal interaction by the staff, the community areas and activities for the residents, and overall appearance of the facility. I have also discovered that I have several friends that have or have had loved ones cared for by Avenir. Not once have I ever heard any of them mention a negative word about the care their loved one had received, in fact, more like nothing by praise. While I dont have a loved one there, it is comforting to know that a community like Avenir is available.

Clarity Pointe is such a beautiful community!! As the owner of a Home Care Agency, Ive had the pleasure of spending many hours with the residents in this community, speaking with their loved ones and hearing how much they adore the staff and care providers at Clarity Pointe and hearing how caring they are to their residents. The administrative staff are attentive and pay attention to all the little details. From the time you walk into the lobby, you feel a sense of being home. The community is aesthetically beautiful, smells good, and feels so inviting. This is definitely a Home I would place my dad.

As a University of Tennessee student intern, I have gained the best experience at Clarity Pointe. The activity staff developed and implemented activities that all the residents fully participated in and enjoyed. I highly recommend Clarity Pointe.

STAR has been visiting Clarity Pointe for four years! The staff are so warm and welcoming, and the residents benefit so much from their excellent care. Such a lovely surrounding, it would be my first choice for care of a loved one.

Our family did a great deal of research on memory care facilities in the Knoxville market and found Clarity Pointe to be the right choice for our loved one. To be fair - we had many questions. Some of them very tough. The staff at Clarity Pointe did a great job in explaining the community, services offered, care options, patient expectations, and costs. From our perspective - we have found Clarity Pointe to be professional, compassionate, and quite competent in the care offered by its staff. Management and staff have also always been sensitive and responsive to any concerns or questions we may have. It would be great if this care came at little or no cost. Unfortunately there is a cost to providing the quality care offered at Clarity Pointe. It is also reasonable to expect that there are certain costs for setting up for the intake of a patient. These costs were fairly explained to us. It is important to remember, while one would assume that providing compassionate care is of utmost importance to these types of facilities - facilities such as Clarity Pointe do have an important business aspect to them. And as such must be mindful of the business side of the operation. I think it also important to understand that not all patients may be a great match for a particular care facility. And unfortunately one doesnt necessarily discover this until after their loved one has been admitted. In the big picture, these facilities must look after the well being and safety of its residents as a whole - and unfortunately sometimes it does not work out for a particular patient. This said - since arriving eight months ago we have found our loved one enjoys the facility and its residents. We have also found that the vast majority of other families with loved one at Clarity Pointe feel the same way. Clarity Pointe has also provided a great deal of peace of mind to our family - helping make a very difficult life situation much more manageable. Most importantly, we feel confident that our loved one is in caring. competent hands. And at the end of that day that is what is most important.

I couldnt be happier with my experiences at Clarity Pointe. My mother recently moved in, and during a stressful and emotional time in both our lives, the staff has been outstanding. Everyone took the time prior to moving in to reassure me --Ive had conversations with the head of maintenance, the cleaning crew, the night nurses, the floor staff, the activities director, the head nurse, the receptionists, and many more. It is obvious most of those working at Clarity are called to this type of care taking and they genuinely care about the residents. They continue to take the time to reassure me, keep an eye out for my Mom, and respond very quickly to my questions. My Mom has had only nice things to say, and she was the one who was NOT on board with the move originally. My daughter and I joined her for the art class last week, and afterwards my daughter said that she had not seen my Mom smiling so much in a very long time. 5 stars

I have worked here almost a year now! I love my residents so much, they are what make my job so wonderful! I make them smile and they make me smile! This is the only place Ive worked where I have been able to have such a close relationship with the residents and their family! They are all like family to me!
