Shelby Gardens Place located in Memphis, Tennessee has proven to be a horrific experience for my mother and my family. Negligence across the board ….. rooms with roaches, patients left in the bed all day in soiled diapers, patients not being fed…. the list is endless….. beyond terrible!!!!

Dangerous place if you are looking for safety and comfort. Not enough staff and the MC side has lots of issues. Third shift might as well stay home. Don’t care about your loved ones. Current management has no idea how to manage. Look across the street at the new place. Harbor Chase.

I truly enjoy serving the elderly! I have been at this community for over 4 years, and I love working with a wonderful team of individuals with the same goal as me. All of the residents are at different levels of care, but I love the idea of personalizing care for each one. Everyone is like family at Brookdale Cordova and that makes the experience and culture all the more rewarding!

We researched and visited several places before choosing Brookdale Cordova. I'm pleased to say we have no regrets. The staff and residents are friendly. The staff seems to genuinely care about the residents - smiling and calling them by name when they see them. Mom is happy here, and I feel confident that help is readily available if and when needed.

My sister and brother-in-law are in Brookdale. The food has recently changed and they are very pleased with that change. I've had a lot of interaction with the staff and found them to be extremely professional and above all care about the well-being of my family. No matter what the circumstance it gets handled properly. We are so thankful they are in a place like Brookdale and highly recommend it to anyone considering a nurturing environment for their loved one.

The staff has been very helpful with all areas of need. The transition has been going well. Everyone is so nice and friendly. If there is a need someone is there to help. Myrna has gone over an above to help with insurance Star (at the front desk) is always pleasant. Baby Lin always looks to see if she cando anything else Jack (Maintenance)is a hard worker and takes time to help with safety of residents by getting wheelchair repaired when needed. Lisa (Nurse) goes above and beyond to make sure medications are done right

The staff at Brookdale , where my 84 and 85 year-old parents reside, are very kind and helpful The really care about my parents! I am very pleased with the care and service my parents receive.
