The staff is exceptional and very helpful. Everyone has treated my mom with such kindness. For that, I am very grateful. The only thing I wish, is that they would keep her floor cleaner and the toilets cleaned on a regular basis, but apart from that, the staff and the management has been terrific!

Absolutely SUPERB staff, facility, and service. Dawn’s (director for Morningside of Cookeville) amazing leadership is limitless. Her unfailing guidance navigating the continued outstanding care and service through the unchartered challenges of COVID were critical in maintaining optimal care for our mother and her other resident friends. She continued to provide essential communication on all matters related to the uncertainties of this pandemic affecting our love ones and situations. Very thorough in explanation and timeliness of important details. Her inspirational commitment and courage along with the entire staff ensured our loved ones were safe at all times and continued to receive the BEST care, service EVER! We, as family members, are GRATEFUL for the peace of mind they provide at Morningside and the ability for our mother and her friends to adjust seamlessly to the new way of achieving life balance that directly contributes to continued high morale and overall care.

This is a very loving and caring community. My mother recently passed away after a fairly long stay there. The compassion that the staff and the executive director showed our family was so appreciated. The entire staff in this community is exceptional and the care they provide is wonderful. I read the earlier review about the administrator and can honestly say I have always been treated with respect and compassion from Ms. Smith.

I cannot express enough my gratitude (to include my family) to the wonderful staff at Morningside. Dawn, Diane, Gwen and the whole administrative, nursing, housekeeping and dining staff. These exceptional folks provide extraordinary care for our mom, with exceptional skills specialized in elderly care management. They compare to none. There is no lack of love and care, always giving that calming, gentle approach, knowing exactly what our mom needs, when she needs it. It’s that special loving touch that only a mother can give. Our mom is and feels secure, safe and happy and can still be independent, something that is very important to her. She is treated with grace and dignity, care and love. Our peace of mind knows no bounds. Whether it be administrative, medical, dental or pharmaceutical needs, this team manages it flawlessly. Wonderful staff!!! I have personally seen even the maintenance manager take great care to love on and encourage the residents by going above and beyond what his job requires. I have seen him dress up for holidays and take them on field trips.

The apartment is comfortable and roomy, the lawn and porches are beautiful, and Mother loves the lake and fountain.
