I have an older friend who had been quite independent and was suddenly hospitalized and in need of full time care. We live hundreds of miles and many hours apart. Home Care Assistance was suggested and I am so thankful that we connected. Joy Sanders and her team of health care providers have been there 24X7 to be sure that my friend received the support and care that he needed over the past nearly two years. Being so far away was further complicated by the Corona 19 virus and although we were unable to visit, Joy and her health care providers were in constant contact with us. It was comforting to know that even though we could not be there he was treated like family and being given the care that he needed.

This agency is wonderful! When my dad fell and broke his hip, I needed to find help fast. I called their number at night and immediately got a call back. Kelly was out at our house the next morning to get things set up. My dad loves his caretaker, Kristen. She is so willing, compassionate, and attentive to his needs. She is a perfect fit for my dad. I now have peace of mind when I leave my dad with Kristen. Thank you for all you do!

As a hospice nurse, Home care Assistance came in to care for my patients needs at a most critical time. Their compassionate team went above and beyond to make sure the patients needs were met. Joy Sanders lives and breathes her name. She is truly a joy to be in relationship with. We needed home care for my father 2 weeks ago with absolutely no notice. I luckily received a recommendation for them from a very satisfied client whod used their services for hospice care for her dying husband.I called Home Care Assistance at 8:30 am on a Monday and received a call from Joy 10 minutes later. I let her know my dad was flying back to South Carolina and would be arriving at 1:00 pm that same day. His blood sugar had been all over the map and he was in no condition to drive much less fly and he insisted on both. Joy to the rescue! She offered to rearrange her entire afternoon to go pick him up and get him settled at home. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me at the time. She arranged to have his car picked up at the airport and brought to him the next day. It was an above and beyond customer service experience!She took care of getting him just the right caregiver (he loves Latoya) and even scheduled an appointment 2 days later with another doctor to get his med list straight when his primary care doctor couldnt see him right away. She went on the appointment and took great notes...I felt as if Id been there. His medications were not right and she knew it. Thank you Joy!Being 1200 miles away from him at a time like this was difficult at best, but Joy made it easy. She stayed in contact with me day and night, whenever I needed her. Thank you will never be enough and I cannot recommend Home Care Assistance highly enough!

Whenever there is a need for a great caring home care agency I know that Home Care Assistance will always come through. Ashley cares very much about all of the families that she works with. When they hire staff, they always make sure to hire good caring loving people. They always work to match up the patient with the best staff fit. Ashley from Home Care Assistance has been a godsend to my parents in Pawleys Island. As we (my brother and two sisters) all live in Maryland, when the need was clear that they needed help to keep them in their home, we knew we could rely on Ashley to place a caring person to look after them and provide meals for them. When a situation involving a computer issue came up, Ashley stepped in to help us sort it out. We know that we can rely on her to provide that hands on support when we cant get down to South Carolina and sort things out for them.

Last summer, my mother was fortunate enough to have Home Care Assistance of the Grand Strand step in and help her out while she was recovering from a major medical incident. I live in Colorado and was not able to be there for the assistance that she needed. I have always known that my mother lives in a wonderful community, but the added peace of mind knowing that this organization is able to step in at a moments notice is invaluable. Home Care Assistance is very involved with the Waccamaw Community. Through civic action and generous donations to local charities, they really make a difference in this area. Ashley is such a caring and genuine person. It is obvious that she really cares about the associates providing the in home assistance and those on the receiving end.
