everyone there treats you like family. my husband when the virus just started. we could only visit through the window. when DEHEC allied we would visit in the courtyard. They do so much for the residents. ice cream socials. happy hour. the staff there are really wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone, and I do.

Truly the most beautiful assisted living in Murrells Inlet. This community is built and managed by local Horry County residents. The not for profit status allows them to offer great care to seniors at an affordable price.

My sister-in-law has been here 4 months & we are very happy with our choice. At Hope Arbor everyone treats you with respect. The staff all seem to be very caring people with the residents best interest at heart. They make a real effort to encourage all residents to have fun & join in the activities. Shes happy so Im happy!

There isnt enough words to express how amazing Hope Arbor truly is - it is something you just have to experience for yourself! The staff is so warm, friendly and patient! They work tirelessly day and night to make sure that everyone there is well taken care of, that they keep busy with great activities every day, and most importantly, that they are happy! The facility is beautiful, extremely clean, bright and fun. You always feel like youre home. Thank you Hope Arbor for all that you do!

My MIL has been at Hope Arbor about 7 weeks and already see some major improvements in her health. The staff feel like family members. They remember who you are visiting and have some positive comment about the resident. We go almost every day and feel we have friends there from staff to residents. Great environment. Only negative Id have was related to me by several residents... the food one weekend was really bad. Chicken wasnt cooked enough & the potatoes were hard to cut into. According to one resident, the potatoes tasted like they put them in a pan, immediately flipped them over and served them. Lol But really, except for food preferences, the meals are good. The other complaint Ive heard from a lot of residents was that the meals are too close together. They said supper is too early. Theyd prefer a small snack around 3 pm & supper around 530 pm. Most everybody likes living there. Clean environment, helpful, & cheerful staff, and decent food.
