My mother has been at Wingate for about two years. I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives. She is treated kindly and with respect by the staff. Such an amazing community. Their attention to detail is far more superior in today’s guidance and protocols. I feel that safety is their number one goal! This community is a must see, the newly renovated community is state of the art and their specific eye to detail definitely checked off all of our boxes! Lets start with our open classes offered in the fitness center, to the extensive programming with the guest speakers, to the book club and high end entertainers, finished with the elegant open restaurant dining options - this place is like a grounded cruise ship with the bonus of “healthcare” options if and when needed. Wingate on the EAST SIDE Is the only place for Assisted living in Providence!

My friend and client moved into Wingate about 6 months ago and Vincent and Misty have helped him to settle in so beautifully. Very supportive in every way you could need. It was comforting knowing that my client was well cared about. They have gone above and beyond in helping us to work out the details of daily routines and adjusting to the new environment being very patient with him and us as we learned the where’s and how’s of Wingate Residence ran. The staff in nursing and dining are wonderful and caring. Front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful and the maintenance staff always willing to help with issues and room needs. Very pleasant and loving environment and the facility is immaculate as well as very organized. Thank you Wingate for your impeccable care and for making our experience one worthy of high praise.

Vinne has wonderful Staff at Wingate Residences on the East Side, couldn't ask for a better group of people to take care of your loved one.. Valerie and her kitchen staff give you the best service and the food was very good, lots of activities to keep residents happy. The place and residents.we’re very clean. Highly recommend.

My uncle (who has essentially been the only father figure in my life) has been living in Wingate for almost a year. It took two years of searching for the best senior residence for my him, but we're glad we didn't settle for any less. Wingate is a prime example of when beauty, intelligence, respect, friendship and loving-kindness are brought together on behalf of any community -- in this case, a senior residence. The staff of Wingate have come together to provide a level of care that I can't recall ever seeing since my days in private school or university. Each one of the senior residents are integrated into the activities that Wingate offers so that their bodies and minds are well nurtured. My uncle has a group of friends that he was so connected with before COVID. The food at Wingate is excellent, on par with any restaurant in the area. I always enjoy myself when I can join my uncle for a meal. I'm completely confident that my uncle is being cared for by the Wingate staff in every way. It seems hard to believe that a senior residence like Wingate exists. I can only suggest checking it out for your family.

Great staff overall. The renovations while probably a good idea, are cold and uninviting. What was a welcoming 'country kitchen' us now granite counter tops - looks like a kitchen in a new development house. Most residents are in their 90s- new owners should remember that. otherwise, good care, nice people. Especially like the pool table and pool.
