They treat my grandma so well, the environment is a place where I wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else. They take care of her properly. The staff is very nice and courteous and very attentive with all the residents at the Birches. Never had a bad experience once!

The Birches at Newtown is an amazing place! I work for a home care company doing Marketing, Recruiting and Ive had the privilege of visiting The Birches quite a few times. I always love going there and seeing how the staff interacts with the residents. They are loving, compassionate, and genuine people who really care about the residents. The food is excellent, they have a movie theater with an old school pop corn stand, art, music classes, a hip hair salon, a beautiful banquet hall, private dining area for fancy parties, family dinners, and their activities director is truly dedicated to providing the best entertainment possible for the residents. This place is one of a kind, and I hope its still there when I can no longer age in place. Would 100% recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to call home!

The Birches of Newtown is a great facility. Ive had a few relatives who have stayed in for personal care. The facility is clean, the food is good and most of all the workers who help and assist those staying in the facility are wonderful. I give Birches a FIVE star rating. Thank you for your kindness. My colleagues and I have performed about six antiques roadshows over the past few years there and it never ceases to amaze me how clean the inside of the building is, how nice and hospitable the staff is, and how happy the residents are. This place is like staying at a posh hotel with all the amenities. When we perform our roadshow, we have it in the spacious A, V room where normally residents would watch movies, etc. Every room, hallway, and bathroom are all kept so immaculate. This place is an excellent example of Senior Living. We enjoyed our few hours there and we will again down the road.

In the past month I have recently had the opportunity to begin working at the Birches for Fox Rehab, which provides Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. Its a refreshing feeling to come to a place every morning where the administration is excited about what they do and care about their residents. I am lucky to be part of such an awesome place!

I visited the Birches of Newtown for a tour of the facility yesterday. The building had a welcoming feeling from the entry way through-out the whole facility. Everyone I meet was friendly, cordial and seemed to care very much about their residents. I was especially impressed by the large, bright dining hall and how inviting it looked. A real plus at the Birches is that they have an in-house therapy room for Fox Rehab with the necessary equipment, and a therapist available for their residents. The Birches of Newtown will be a loved ones home and the facility gives the distinct impression that it wants their resident to feel their home.

I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. When I came to the Birches I was awed by the facility, it is so nice and state of the art. Being here for several months and working with the team I see such care and love for the residents. From menu planning to activities it is always about what is good for the residents that live here. This is their home and that is how it is treated. I invite anyone to come visit and see if this is some place you or your loved one would want to live.

The Birches is a wonderful organization that not only cares for the individuals in their facility, but about the community around them. The employees and staff have opened their doors to allow students with disabilities to assist in volunteering around the facility. Their openness and willingness to provide our learners with the ability to gain real job experience is incredibly valuable. As a student at a middle school near by an assignment was given to us. We were to do 5 hours of community service this was a way to help out the community. I decided to go to the Birches. I went twice and saw the residents. The first time we did some arts and crafts, I got to know some of the residents and was having a great time. The residents looked so happy and excited to make something new that they could put outside of there rooms and show other people. The second time was for a pie social. I gave residents and there families pie. The residents were so delighted to share some pie and spend time with there families:) Im so grateful that I got to see the residents and make them very happy !!
