Management seems very poor, most servers hate their job as with most employees at Willow. But this has been going on for well over a decade which means they do not care about them or their customers just Appearances. Good luck with that. Great maintenance though! You guys rock! Keep it up!

Great retirement community where there are so many activities going on if you choose to participate in them. Very clean and security is tight. No one can just enter without checking in the main building getting a visitor pass before your able to access there many amenities. With Swimming pools and bowling alley to a full service gym and spa where you can make appointment to have your hair and nails done or relax and get a facial and more. This retirement community very much cares for there patrons. They create different charitable events to attend solely to help those residents who are unable to fund living there. Quiet and peaceful with excellent outdoor areas with stunning views. Everyone from management to maintenance is very friendly and helpful at all times. I enjoy my time there very much.

We are "freshmen" at Willow Valley, having just moved here in October, 2017. Though it has been difficult to leave behind our home of over thirty years, it was time to find a final residence, one that provides bountiful opportunities for continued intellectual growth, delicious meals if we choose to partake, friendly people, a beautiful park-like setting, and nurturing care when we need it. Willow Valley provides all of the above and more. We couldn't have chosen better!

We hosted a retirement banquet at Willow Valley yesterday. It is one of the nicest facilities that I have been in in a long time. The staff went above and beyond to help us and we were very grateful for that.

The first year we were at Willows Valley, our grandchildren called it Nana and Pops hotel. The next year they called it Nana and Pops resort. Now that theyre teenagers, they call it paradise. I agree. How blessed we are to be here.

Making the decision to move a loved one out of their home is difficult. The staff at Elmcroft helped me all along the way. My husband was well taken care of which is the most important thing. They really took the time to get to know not only him but myself. I never had to worry at night anymore they gave me a great sense of comfort knowing that they loved him and took good care of him. They offer many activities to do there and encourage independence but help in the areas a resident needs help. The care adjusted with him so as he started to decline and needed more the care changed along with him. How many assisted livings can say that they take the time to truly care about a person ? When he passed at the funeral I looked up to see staff coming in one by one to pay tribute to him including the administrator Donna, the head nurse Jean , the sales girl Benna, Connie the activities director, Linda the secretary, and even the Maintenance man Marcus came. These people became our family. I find myself missing them and visiting with them. I would recommend Elmcroft in Sherwood to anyone that needs help. There truly are good assisted living places out there and this is one. Good people

We moved here in February of 2004 at the ages of 63 and 61. We have never regretted it and are so glad we made our move "early" to enjoy living life at Willow Valley. The amenities are excellent and so is the staff. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to relax and enjoy a secure and supportive environment in our retirement years. It is a terrific place. We have made many great friends, enjoy many activities and are grateful every day that we are here while we are healthy and able to take advantage of all Willow Valley has to offer.

We moved here in August of 2013 and since Joyce has become an artist with taking classes and we both have learned to play pool and so much to do and see and take part in we just love it here the best choice one could ever make as far as we are concerned. Really keeps us busy we are never ever bored.
