Everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and helped to introduce me to activities and services. Check out my new haircut and my old style. I came in broken in a wheelchair and thanks to physical therapy I am walking today

My dad loves it here. There are lots of great activities. He likes to play pool, and listen to historians and music. The food is decent- we go over and eat with him sometimes. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean.

Often visit my great aunt here, she always remarks about how pleasant and enriching living at Arbour Square is! The buildings and grounds are very tastefully kept and its always beautiful no matter what season! They do a wonderful job there and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it for themselves or a loved one as a place to settle down without the excess distractions of living outside of a community as such.

Dad had been there for 3 years and has loved it. As a nurse myself I have very high standards. The staff are energetic, kind and supper supportive. My dad has mild dementia and they are supper supportive offering cues and repeatedly answering the same questions over and over with respect and kindness. They have made it possible for my dad to maintain his dignity and socialize with others while he ages. We could not be happier with all the staff and services at Arbour Square Harleysville. They have also done a great job keeping the residents very safe during the Covid pandemic.

Mom & dad have been living at Arbour Square @ Harleysville, for about a year and a half now. The genuine care and concern shown to my parents, by the staff, continues to amaze me. They all know every resident by name. Even during this very difficult time of COVID-19, the staff continue to find innovative ways to care for and entertain the residents, while maintaining a safe environment for all. During our initial visit to Arbor Square when we were evaluating several facilities as options for my father, I was impressed with the facility but also with the people. We were looking for a facility that would facilitate an easier transition from complete independence to a retirement community. What we found was a team that worked to integrate my father into the community by getting to know him and introduce him to others in the community to make him feel more at home. This attention to the residents starts at the top with the Administrator (Mimi Kehan) and flows down to all of the staff. Their efforts are directed to making the residents comfortable and happy, and this is done in a proactive manner. This cannot be done unless they know their residents. During this pandemic period there was tremendous effort to keep everyone safe - and the response from facility management was timely, transparent, and caring. This made a difference... I highly recommend Arbor Square to everyone looking for a retirement facility.

Many, many wonderful friends to spend my days with, fun protects dot my week and a ticket to ride to stores, medical locations for Dr. Apps, and SOUDERTON HIGH SCHOOL WINTER CONCERT which lit up my holiday spirit! My parents have been at Arbour Square of Harleysville for a little over a year and are very happy there. Some of the items they have been consistently pleased with are: the food, activities available, the staff, environment inside and outside, shopping very close, and the friendliness of other residents. The director there is amazing. She is very accommodating to the residents and families. The age and heath range of the people there is a bit diversified which in my opinion is good. My mother is 79 but in very good health and very active. My father is a bit slower paced. They have both been able to make friends that match their pace. When we were looking for a place for my parents this place stood out because of: how nice the inside common areas were, we talked to other residents and all were very happy, the place was very clean, the mood was upbeat, and when we called and e-mailed with follow-up questions we always got prompt responses. My parents recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. The staff there went out of their way to help us celebrate it. I cant emphasize enough that the management and staff there put a lot of effort to provide a very nice and safe place for their residents.

In these last number of weeks during all of this uncertainty, Mimi and her staff and employees have done an amazing job keeping the residents informed and safe. Working tirelessly. My mother stayed for 2 weeks for respite care after a serious injury. The staff was very nice, attentive, accommodating, and communicated well. Special shout out to the chef who made delicious soups for my mother every day (she had her jaw wired shut). The facility was clean and nice, and they had daily activities for the residents.

My mother was a resident of Arbour Square. The facility is beautiful and kept very clean. Upon moving in, the maintenance staff helped hang her pictures, curtains, and shelves that she wanted on the wall. They were always attentive and friendly. The dining room is lovely and options for meals were always available. I cannot say enough about the staff. They go above and beyond when it comes to their residents. You come to understand that they really do care about, not only the resident, but about your family members also. Physical therapy works with each resident to get the best possible outcome and try to accommodate when it comes to scheduling appointments. When my mom wanted to leave the hospital and return to her home at Arbour Square for end of life, Mimi and her staff opened up their hearts to us, to hospice, and to the caregivers. Thank you to all of those folks there who touched my moms life in such a positive way.

My parents love the polite and professional staff at Arbour Square, and have made plenty of new friends there. They love the beautiful well kept facility. The servers treat my parents like their own grandparents. They even know what kind of hot and cold beverage they like. I and my siblings sometimes eat with our parents, and my parents and my siblings are so pleased with the quality of the food, and service. The head chef always has an excellent well balanced meal planned with the freshest and most excellently prepared foods. Preparing meals for a large crowd is no easy task but he and his staff do it with perfection time and time again. My brothers and sisters couldnt ask for a better place for my parents. We are at complete ease knowing they are so pampered and well cared for.

My Dad lived at Arbour Square and independent living was a wonderful experience for him when it was time to sell his home and not live alone after my Mother died. Being able to test the water and pay month to month instead of having to buy into a senior living experience, was appealing! The staff was extremely caring and the residence were very engaging. The dining room was warm and welcoming and the food was always wonderful with an array of choices everyday, not to mention how great the dining staff was! The wonderful staff were always very helpful and were so kind and caring to my Dad. The many planned activities, whether it was a bus trip to Mass on Sunday, a wonderfully planned social with live entertainment, a Christmas party, a trip on the bus to play golf, a 7 pm movie night - there was encouragement to become involved and plenty to do to stay active! Arbour Square was a fabulous place for my Dad to live!

Arbour Square is a gorgeous facility with wonderful employees. I cant say enough positive things about it. Two people in particular stand out to me: Greg in maintenance and Val in Physical Therapy. Greg was always willing to help my Mom with anything she needed and he always has a smile and a positive attitude. I felt such relief knowing he was on staff to help my Mom if she had any issues in her apartment and I couldnt get there that day. Val in PT is truly an angel. I honestly believe she is an angel from God. Her ability to interact and connect with Mom in such a positive way was something like which I had never seen. Her knowledge and skill in PT was exceptional. My Mom got so much better after working with Val. But the biggest thing I noticed about Val was her heart. She was so kind to me and my family. She would stay late beyond her hours to check on my Mom, even without me asking her. She had my cell phone number and would call me whenever I had a question and sometimes just to tell me her observations of my Mom. In fact, Val was the person who called me to tell me to come check on my Mom a few months ago. That night I took her to the hospital and she ended up being in the hospital for several days. Val went above and beyond her professional duties with my Mom. She really took her under her wing. She acted as my daily eyes and my ears since I could not see my Mom every day. I will always be grateful to her.

Extended family moved to Arbour Square Harleysville several months ago. We have been very pleased with the attentiveness of staff towards residents. I visit with my Aunt every Sunday and enjoy lunch in the dinning room. The meals have been delicious! Todays Chicken Orzo and Spinach Soup tasted homemade as my mother would have made it. I have dined in many fine restaurants over the years. The food provided is nutritionally robust and the menu offers a nice variety from day to day.
