Cumberland Crossings a CCRC – Reviews
Great care . Good food. Caring people. Thanks again.
Have had 2 parents in Personal Care in the past year and a half. Never heard a raised voice (except when limited hearing makes it necessary). Never see a resident rushed. Care staff is attentive, responsive, cooperative.
I would recommend this nursing facility for both rehab and long term care. Friendly staff who really seem invested in the residents wants and needs. Even small details are taken care of. Thank you all for everything!!
girls in personal care are awesome
I couldnt ask for a better community to send my family. I have seen such grace and class from the nursing staff. building is exceptionally clean. Management is in view frequently and know their staff and residents . Thank you to everyone there. Kudos!!
Amazing. What else can I say. Amazing care for my father in his critical time of need. Happy and caring staff. my dad appreciated hearing the laughter and comradery between the staff and patients. Whatever he needed or wanted they provided. Thank you so much!!
Beautiful campus within couple miles from downtown Carlisle. Welcoming, friendly and caring community. Very comfortable cottages. Perfect size facility, it feels very personable.
The community and all the people we have met are wonderful, staff and residents!
Beautiful community, wonderful residents and staff. Proud to be a part of this family.
Cumberland Crossings is in the Carlisle area so I like that it's close to my local physicians and medical people. They have a flexible meal plan where you don't have to have every meal in the dining room, but you get 20 meals a month. It has nice cottages, but everything is expensive. They have a pool and they have a program where you can sign up for bus trips to go to meals and things like that.
Thankyou to all the staff for caring for my father.
The people there are very friendly and easy to talk to
Best retirement community in the region!
Cumberland Crossings has been very good so far. Mom is sharing a room and she is in the nursing care. The food is decent. The staff is very good overall. Maybe they can improve on their communication with the family members of their residents.
I really liked Cumberland Crossings. It was one of the three that we ended up thinking that could be a good place for mother in law. They gave us a nice tour of the place. It was very nice, clean, and pleasant. One gentleman told us hed been to many nursing homes and this was the best. The staff was nice.
Cumberland Crossings was very nice, but they didn?t have any occupancies nor a memory care unit. They have skilled nursing and regular assisted living or personal care. It was the most expensive of all the place I saw, and it was closer to where my parents live in Carlisle. It was very clean and very bright. The lady that I spoke with was very nice, very helpful, and answered my questions.
Beautiful place where the people make the difference
It was a community with separate homes. They had a nursing home and health assistance to people to needed something less than a nursing home. The staff was helpful. It was not crowded. It had lots of spaces between the facilities. They also had different activities.
My Aunt gets her care there, but I do wish she got more exercise, but I do understand its hard when someone is not only wheelchair bound, but mentally handicapped. She has access to vending machines where she over-indulges, but I guess for someone her age they should let them be happy. She's always clean, and the staff personally engages with her and know all about her.
This facility seems to be a good one. My great aunt is happy. The staff I have met are friendly and helpful. They are usually able to tell me able my aunt's likes and dislikes as well as what her days are like. There are activities for the residents to participate in. The ALF portion of the building is clean, quiet and well cared for. I personally don't care for the cats that they have but some people probably really love them. The skilled side is more hospital like and while it seems clean, it is often smelly. The staff on both sides are very accommodating and as long as you are specific about needs or requests they seem to be willing to honor them. Overall, this is a great place for your loved one. My aunt has been here nearly 20 years. There have been very few incidents over this time. She has made friends with the staff and residents and Cumberland Crossings seems to have been the right choice for her.
