After a serious leg injury requiring surgery I was admitted to this Marquis Care Facility so that I could advance my recovery to the point I could return home. I was reluctant to enter any care facility, but it was clear that my very limited mobility required additional treatment such as physical therapy. I quickly learned how valuable the care I received from Marquis staff was, as they tracked my day to day improvement working through the various physical exercises. All the staff I encountered were polite, kind and encouraging from the people that cleaned my room to the facility managers and everyone in between. I have no regrets and would gladly return if I found myself in similar circumstances.

I have been to the Marquis twice. The first time there was a lot of confusion the first couple days. But once settled in I found most of the staff was very attentive to my needs, the food was very good. I give a 5 star to the therapists they were all great and good at their jobs. If I need to go to a facility again I hope it is the Marquis.

I was treated with respect and dignity by all the staff I came in contact with. Certainly, a pleasant experience after an unfortunate mishap. I couldn't have been treated any better. A little noisy at night though. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

I completed an internship a few years ago that was a rotation between all the departments. I can honestly say that the building is full of employees who truly care about the residents and the community. I had such a good experience that I jumped at the opportunity to come back when a position became available. When I returned to the facility years later I saw so many familiar faces, showing how much the company and administration value their employees. I appreciate the opportunity the company has given me to help residents and work with such amazing people!

In the past year after leaving a long term staff position I worked as an agency nurse at different SNFs in Oregon. While I appreciated some facilities more than others I chose to become a permanent staff/charge nurse at Marquis Springfield. My co-workers are wonderful, such team players and fun people. They truly care about our residents and patients. Several have worked at the facility for 8-10 or more years, that really says a lot. I appreciate the organization and work flow. The administration cares, especially during the 2020 Covid pandemic, keeping staff and residents updated, tested, and safe as possible, updating policies and procedures often as they obtain up to date information. I'm thankful to be a part of the Marquis Springfield family and look forward to many happy years.

I have worked at Marquis in Springfield for 8 years now and in my 35 years as a CNA I have never loved a facility more. The staff and administration work very hard to always be there to meet our needs as employees and go above and beyond for our residents. I am so happy to be able to come into such a wonderful place every day and spend my time with some of the most incredible people I have ever met.

My experience at Marquis has been life saving. My therapists have really worked with me to get me on my feet,encouraged me to get up & going on my own. The nursing staff is excellant I've teased them they teased back, I shed a year they wiped my eyes. The food is ok but home cooked is always better.the room is clean & tired up daily.the beds are very comfortable. If you need care for yourself or family member I feel you can't pick a better place Thank you Priscilla Cook

I have worked at Marquis Springfield for about a month now. As a new CNA, I was nervous to be working in a care facility for the first time. It didn't take long for me to realize that Marquis is a great facility. Every CNA, Nurse, and member of the support staff truly cares for each patient in the facility. They work SO hard to meet patients needs, even when meeting all of those needs seems impossible. I'm proud to work there, and from what I hear from the patients and residents, they are happy to be here too. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a care facility for their loved one, as well as any new CNAs looking to advance their career.

I am a CNA student with LCC & my clinical experience with Marquis Springfield was phenomenal! The staff is great, everyone works together as a team, and not once did I witness any angst or arguing among the staff, definitely a positive, up beat environment. The residents were very sweet and fun to be around, you can tell between the nurses and residents that it feels like one big family. I would recommend Marquis to anyone & I look forward to advancing my career through them!

After a bad experience with another local care facility we were apprehensive at a new place. One thing that was important to me and my family was good communication. Within a week, a meeting with all essential staff was done, the level of communication just in that meeting was more than we had the whole time our family member had been there. This was a hard move for my Dad but this staff was attentive and his care manager went above and beyond along with his social worker to ensure his comfort. After arriving my mom passed within a couple of months and this left him feeling alone and vulnerable. I can tell you that the staff stepped up and gave him a warm feeling, like family. I have seen nurses and CNA's stop by after their shift to make sure he is OK, the care he receives from everyone there is so superior and we could not be happier. He has now started joining in with activities, he plays Bingo, Cards, Yahtzee, attends concerts and most recently has started doing on monthly outings. My family and I could not be happier. I know this sounds like it is sugar coated, but it is true. you may ask if anything ever went wrong there with us, yes it has. There was one incident, but it was quickly taken care of, not only did they make things right with my Dad, they revisited their policy on that particular situation to ensure it did not happen to anyone else. I can also say it is not just one person that gives this superior care, but many. I want to name a few; up front Nadine and Lacey, Nurses and CNA's - Graham, Jessie and Hector- Activities Director Jim, Therapists - James, Director - Derrick and most of all my angels that give me a piece of mind - Linda - Care Coordinator and Lynn - Social Worker. If you have a loved one that needs to go into a care facility, do yourself a favor and check out Marquis. If you want to talk to me face to face, the facility can take a message and I will be happy to call you. Again I rate them the highest you can rate.

I am so impressed with this facility. My aunt has been there for 2 days and they have exceeded my expectations. Friendly faces when you walk in the door. So helpful. Going the extra mile to make her comfortable. At dinner time a nurse brought her food, it wasn't something she liked so she offered two other choices. My aunt was very pleased. I am impressed with the upbeat attitudes and happy faces I see. It is very clean and doesn't smell. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I've changed my review since the thing happened. They have stepped up to the plate and have taken good care of my mom. There was a few days of confusion and things happened. But I have to say that they were very concerned and since then things have more than improved. She has water, she was clean and her room was very clean. So as this care continues, I am giving them more stars. I am very pleased right now.

My Great Aunt Pauline was admitted to Marquis Care Springfield from MWH and was put on Hospice services. Aunt Pauline was at Marquis Springfield for a total of 10 days before passing. I have to shout out to all the nurse's and CNA's that took care of my Aunt during her last days. Everyone including the RCM's and Social Services did an excellent job. Aunt Pauline had wonderful care from the start to finish. My husband & her granddaughter were at Marquis almost 24 hours a day with our Aunt. The kitchen sent a food cart with fruit/snacks/coffee/ice water etc to the room for us family and Auntie had a private room to accommodate privacy for her and our family. Everyone was so loving to my Aunt and all of us family members. What a blessing it was for her to have such amazing care givers and nurse's in her final days. Marquis is # 1 in my book. Thank you so much!

I don't know why I'm even giving this place two stars. I think because I have met some nice people who promised us nice things. But, we have yet to see this. If your parent can't feed themselves. They will go hungry. They don't even bring the bare necessities, such as water. The bed they put my mother in was broken and they had no other beds to offer. So they put her almost on the floor. I am appalled at this place. The things I saw were awful. Old people sitting out in the waiting area, exposed and nobody doing anything to help them. I am taking a hidden camera with me and plan on getting pictures and videos of this horrid place and turning them in. The good part of being an established author is I will blog, send to newspapers and make sure they are turned in. I will wait until Monday to see if things improve. If not, not only will my mother be out of there, I am going to shout to the higher ups about this place.
