My sister and I are so grateful for the staff at Wildpine who consistently prove that they care. The enthusiasm of the staff, the social events, the food, and the beautiful outdoor venue all contribute to making Wildpine a warm and inviting home for our parents. Not to mention their prompt attention to medical issues. These people truly go above and beyond.

Wildpine is amazing! We went for a special event and were offered a tour and the facility is gorgeous! They offer 3 levels of care including assisted living so you can Age in place with support. There are so many services: 24 hour nursing on staff, 2 doctors come one day per week , Home community care available on site Plus weekly housekeeping & laundry, Phone cable, internet included and it is a Pet friendly facility including Sadie (who belongs to the GM) and is a licensed therapy dog In the lovely dining room there is assigned seating with 2 seatings per day of 3 meals with 2 meal choices or a full a la carte menu to order from! Homemade Soup and dessert is included ! There is also a 24 hour open area with a fully stocked fridge There is a Private dining room for family celebrations which can be booked to include catering A large activity room with library and daily chair exercise classes. A movie room, hair salon and bar area. So many places to relax, be social or be active The apartment building backs onto conservation area and they have an Outdoor terrace for bbqs and popsicle parties. There are covered swings! Parking is covered plus there is an underground heated assigned garage Respite care is $85 per night Trial stay is minimum 30 days at the same rate. We saw a large 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette which includes meal plan for $ 6175. The Studio apartments start at $3000 Just off Stittsville Main St, you can walk to Dollar Dtore, Shoppers, restaurants and the grocery store Everyone was so friendly there and you could tell the staff enjoys their jobs! After touring this building with Frances the General Manager I can tell you no expense was spared! From the warm welcoming dining area, the back outdoor patio, and the rooms with beautiful ceilings anyone would be happy to live here! Access the assisted living is also a plus because a transition from independent to assisted would be a breeze! Highly recommend! Staff and service at wildpine is unmatched!

Our loved one moved into Wildpine Residence a few months ago, after moving back to Canada from the United States and where she required an assisted living environment. Wildpine is clean, and bright. The home is able to meet her care needs with support from Home Care. They are very responsive to requests and welcome the involvement of family. Our loved one reports that the food is outstanding. She is involving herself in activities that she used to enjoy and is making friends. We know that we made the right decision in choosing Wildpine as the home away from home for our loved one.

This building is only about 4 years old and is bright and clean. There is a huge outdoor patio and the grounds are nicely kept. We toured with Shari and just when we thought we were done she told us there was more to see. They have so many activities - there is absolutely something for everyone. The rooms are a great size. Mom loved her room and her view. The staff are wonderful and so patient. The one consistent thing my mother always said was how good the food is - she wouldn't change a thing. There are two beautiful dogs who are there most days and they love to be petted. If you are even thinking about moving to an independent or assisted living building you owe it to yourself to check out Wildpine.

After breaking my pelvis I spent a month at Wildpine in order to recover. The staff was engaging and happy and very helpful when needed. The room was accessible and the perfect size to safely and easily move around. I felt at home :). It was lovely being so close to my clinics for treatment, shops and beautiful walking paths to keep my spirits up. My month at Wildpine was truly a saving grace for me and even though I was ready to go home I was sad to leave. I would highly recommend the residence to all.

The one consistent thing my mother said was how good the food was - everything was delicious, she wouldn't change anything. The staff are so patient and absolutely wonderful, from the moment you're greeted at the front desk to the smiles and hellos from everyone you pass. Mom was in the independent living section but sometimes they'd still stop in to see if she wanted to go to an activity. They have 2 beautiful dogs that are there most days and love to be petted. There is so much more to this place that I just can't cover here. If you're even considering an assisted living or independent living building you have to check out Wildpine. You will be very pleasantly surprised.

My mother has been an independent living resident the past couple of years; however, due to her changing healthcare needs we needed to move her to the dependent living floor. While I envisioned that this would have been a negative experience from my mother's perspective, it has been nothing but positive. During my visit with my mom today she expressed how much she loves the service at her new location. It's the right amount of care for her needs. I was thrilled to hear that I and I wanted to share that with you all. Thank you for all you do!!!

My parents transitioned from their home to a double suite at Wildpine in August of 2021. The assisted living floor was their 1st stop and then after my dad passed my mom moved to an independent living floor and was quite content. Wildpine is the best residential facility in Stittsville. The administration, medical, culinary, recreation and awesome custodial staff are compassionate helpful supportive and wonderfully inclusive. Your elders' needs are met with service excellence at Wildpine. The entire staff provides wrap around care for your loved ones - which is also care for me too

My parents were there. My mom had a bodily function accident and used both bells in her room for help. She did not get help for two hours. My mom ended up in hospital and we lost her. My dad who was in another floor was in lock down to his room more than once because of COVID. He cannot hear or see properly and had dementia. The last time he was confined to his room we had lost my mom and he didn't understand anything. He got a bit violent and was sent to hospital and he never returned. I lost both parents 5 weeks apart. I do believe in both cases they could have been there for them. You cannot leave a elderly person alone like that, the alarms must ALWAYS be answered by staff.

As a former employee of Wildpine Residence, I have nothing but good things to say. The staff here create such an enjoyable environment for everyone involved in the establishment. They take amazing care of the residents, ensuring they feel comfortable and heard. As someone who worked at the reception desk, I soon developed relationships with all the residents, quickly learning their names and having long conversations, learning about their past and how they became who they are. I also developed relationships with visitors, and family members, learning their names and eventually being able to greet them by name as soon as they entered the building. All the staff members know each resident by name, and always stop to have a conversation with them, no matter how busy they are. The activities department always has something fun planned throughout the day, and they plan fun events every now and then that all residents and staff participate in! They ensure that the residents stay active and mobile with activities such as “Fitness Class” and “Walking Club”, and they also have activities directed directly towards the interests of each resident such as, “Bridge Club”, “Euchre Club”, “Sewing Club” and so much more. The dining room staff always work to ensure the residents are happy with each meal, and the kitchen staff work incredibly hard to create enjoyable meals that the residents enjoy. For holidays, they always do a big meal or luncheon for the residents to enjoy with their table mates before going to celebrate with their families. The nursing team does an impeccable job at ensuring the residents are checked on, taken care of, and their needs are met. They assist residents to and from meals when needed, and help them with even the smallest task. The maintenance and housekeeping team ensure the residents rooms are cleaned thoroughly, laundry is done when it’s needed to be done, and broken items get fixed. The team of managers ensure that their employees are supported every day, and they ensure the residents are taken care of all the time, they work hard at making sure everything runs smoothly, and wow do they do a good job at it! As someone who has worked here, if you are looking for a job and want to work somewhere where it feels like you are a part of a family - this is the spot for you. If you are a family member, or someone looking for a place to live - I would highly recommend Wildpine Residence. You won’t be disappointed. To Frances, Lucy, and the rest of the team - thank you for creating such a loving, friendly, and supporting work environment and I hope to be back to work alongside you again soon!

1. Wildpine might be an acceptable facility if the loved one you're thinking of sending there is healthy, energetic and can essentially take care of themselves short of cooking and cleaning. However, if they have any kind of health condition that leaves them weak or with low energy, they won't get adequate support or respectful treatment at Wildpine. 2. Furthermore, complaints from residents/caregivers seem to be regularly met with lip service instead of action, or the bare minimum if they do act, and if you try to advocate on their behalf the staff will disingenuously explain how the problem is always out of their control but they're doing everything they can, when they aren't and just want you to stop bothering them. Even when complaints are brought to the attention of Frances, General manager, she listens with an attentive ear, apologizes profusely but it ends there. It is either hypocrisy or weak management, either one is not acceptable and this attitude/culture seems to affect the whole organization. No one seems to take responsibility for their actions 3. It is a nice building and very clean. There are some good nurses and personal care workers, but they disappear very quickly.

I would say the residents are well protected from covid,its a beautiful home ,I enjoyed interacting with the residents ,we communicated well ,shared stories,fixed any issues they might have,and just being calm and solving their concerns would make things good.Its listening,as in times of covid they need to feel listened to ,its a great place just need to communicate more ,and a few other things Listening and making people aware of changes makes everyone feel they are worth it ,It what keeps a happy home a place people are drawn too ,take care of the ones you have and the rest falls into place.Its a great place ,beautiful area,you are much loved residents stay safe ,the best is yet to come.

Just took a tour of Wildpine with my mother. WOW! I wasnt sure if this was a Retirement Residence or luxury resort! With my work and also with a parent who is looking ahead for the future I have visited many residences and I have to admit this place was terrific. The videos and photos do not do it justice. You need to visit to get the full idea of the expansive size and multitude of spaces available. The movie theater, activities room and the extreme private dining room, and so many other areas to relax and enjoy. Even the laundry area was a treat! I cant comment on the care but the atmosphere is friendly and fresh! So many great ideas of activities and events going on. I wish I could move in!!! Its a refreshing and needed change in the stereotypical retirement residence community.
