Kelly Prevost and her caring team from Qualicare have been looking after my 89 year old Dad for several months now. i called Qualicare in a panic. My husband had emergency surgery and i wanted an RPN to be with him, when he came out of ICU into the ward. Kelly Provost was super in getting things set up and organized for me. She was efficient, professional and a Great help in my time of need. Everything went smoothly, at such a short notice. i will recommend Qualicare to my family and friends should they need support. The RPNs they sent to us were compassionate and an advocate to my husband when i was not able to be there. Thank you to all the folks who gave us the great support we needed .

As someone who used to work for Qualicare through nursing school, I knew I could trust them to care for my own family. I called at the last minute the night before when there was nobody available to be with my niece, who has special needs, because my mom was in the hospital and we had to be there. We had to make a choice between being there for my mom before a life saving surgery, or caring for my niece. Qualicare let us be with our mom and really made a difference for us because we felt safe with their caregivers who I know are well vetted. Fidele, a really competent and caring person, stepped forward to help for a shift after doing back to back 12 hour shifts. I was so impressed and grateful, and trusted her completely. It was such a relief, and I know I can call them when I need help that is safe, competent, and compassionate. Special thanks to Adolfo and Ashleigh for making it happen! Update: My mother passed away February 1st after a month of needing 24 hour care which Qualicare provided beautifully. We were all supported and cared for by their caregivers in the most unbelievable way. We had a team of caregivers who I could fault for skill or knowledge, and besides their competence, I thanked them for their kindness. I cannot say the deep peace I felt knowing they were there with her when I could not be, and how they lifted up her spirits and ours before she slept into eternity. This was thanks to Maxies tireless work of making a regular schedule that really spoke to each persons strengths. What an unforgettable debt of gratitude we owe to Qualicare. Thank you!

Kelly and the Ottawa Qualicare team deliver the care in Home Care. Right from the first panicked point of contact for next day home care services Qualicare calmly stepped up to swiftly make arrangements. The compassion and patience of our assigned care-giver, Susan, were in a word outstanding. Qualicare Home Care were our bridge while finding and securing the right Retirement Home. Being worry free about our loved ones care at home allowed us to do so. The almost daily fine tuning of care hours by Qualicare to accommodate our needs showed tremendous flexibility and an eagerness to help. A BIG THANK YOU for coming to our rescue! Qualicare is a fantastic agency. I had the experience of two of the most wonderful girls coming in to take care of my husband overnight. They were caring in their approach to him and managed to get him into bed at night which is sometimes quite a feat! I had a good nights sleep because I knew he was so well taken care of. Our Mom lives alone and is able to manage most of the time. However, during the past year, it was felt that it would be beneficial to enlist some outside help to do errands, attend doctors visits, accommpaniment for senior social activites, etc. The goal was to provide us with more quality time with Mom and not just chores and errands. We hired Qualicare and were about to start the service when the pandemic arrived and an order to stay home was issued. At first we were hesitant to start the companion service because of the possibility of Mom who is 80 plus years old being infected inadvertently. Qualicares Kelly and Eileen explained their procedures to ensure the safety of our Mom and their staff so we decided to proceed with the service. It has been a few weeks now and Mom is very pleased with the companionship from Eileen and Christiane at this very trying time. During the twice weekly visits she has had some much needed walks in the fresh air, short trips for the necessities, lively conversation and help for other everyday tasks. As well, Eileens nursing experience has been extremely helpful when Mom had doctors appointments via telephone. Having that extra help from Qualicare has been very comforting for us and we look forward to a long and happy relationship.

Lauren and Kelly were extremely responsive in setting up care on short notice and were able to adapt to our changing needs during a difficult transition. The Qualicare team were recommended by my Occupational Therapist as I recover from my accident and engaging them really was the best decision I could have made... Kelly met with me and my OT to really understand my needs and then matched me with an amazing PSW (Kathy) who helps me so much and is always empathetic and so friendly and caring. Lauren worked with my awkward and busy schedule and makes sure that my visits are coordinated at the best time for me and that I am never stranded with no help... all in all I cant say enough good things about Qualicare - they are really making a positive difference in my struggle to normalize my life and maximize my recovery.

Qualicare has played such an important part in my live since my accident I cannot thank them enough. I have dealt with many people there and am so pleased with all the support they have given me during my time of crisis. They help me in so many different ways I cannot begin to express my gratitude to them all. I was isolating and depressed and they encouraged me to get out more.
