This is a very home like retirement home the residents are what makes this home so great the rooms are beautiful the lounge areas are somewhere the residents enjoy to spend time with family and fellow residents they have activates that spark interest which is great for all who participate the owner is very nice always a smile on his face the only flaw this place has is unprofessional staff the head DOC is very rude she picks on some staff members she doesnt like she should be setting an example for co workers bullying should not be allowed in any work place I do believe that this place with do great in the future when they hire a professional DOC that cares about other rather then there own ego.

My mother tried living in two different seniors residences before we finally found Billings Lodge. Unlike those places (which clearly prioritized profits over care), Billings made my mother feel at home right away. They clearly understood how to tend to her increasing needs, and the staff were simply incredible with her. This is a family run business, and it shows. Thank you all so much for everything.Btw, pay no attention to the Incognito review. It is 100% opposite of our experience, and should be considered slander.

This is a wonderful place. I moved my dad from another facility to Billings secure floor a year ago and he passed away peacefully there last month. Moving in was made very easy by all the staff who ensured that Dad was comfortably settled immediately. His care throughout was superb; having consistent staff makes such a difference. Communication with me from the staff on the floor was reliable and appropriate. Diane and Laurie are always pleasant, helpful and proactive. Even his passing and my tidying up of his room was made easier by the compassion and assistance from the staff. I slept much better for the year he spent there, knowing that he was in good hands. I highly recommend the secure floor at Billings; I have no direct experience with the other areas except to comment on the cleanliness, peaceful home-like environment and friendly staff.

inding a residence that feels like home is a definite requirement. A welcoming atmosphere and staff who interact well with both residents and co-workers is a key factor. BILLINGS LODGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY exudes this current of hominess under the watchful eye of a president, owner who is a visible presence and of caring staff in ALL work areas.My older sister has been a resident here for over three years. She appreciates ALL the staff with whom she has contact. She has told me this is her home. What a recommendation for Billings Lodge!!Everyone contributes to the atmosphere and ambiance of Billings Lodge, whether you are out front or behind the scenes. All of you are GUARDIAN ANGELS. Take a bow and clap yourselves on the back for an excellent ancaring job well done. Billings Lodge is 5 star. My father receives excellent care. I believe that everything that was written in the previous review to be absolute fabrication!My family and I have enjoyed many wonderful meals there , with abundant fresh fruit for dessert, and lots of variety. My two children said it was the best parmigiana they had ever had! The dining room is a wonderful place to eat with your loved ones. They are extremely accommodating to picky eaters which is definitely what my father is! Always offering him things that suit his taste.This New years we had a wonderful celebration which included live entertainment and party hats, blowers and more delicious trays of cheese and cold cuts, wine and fruit juice for a toast, and yummy cake.The staff went out of their way to entertain the residents and everyone in the building had lovely grins on their face. For me, this was a very special memory as it was probably the last Christmas, New years that my dad will remember and I am forever in Billings lodges gratitude for being part of that special memory that my children will have of their grandfather , laughing, singing and truly enjoying himself.The staff are extremely helpful.In November my father had a fall and the staff assisted him in every way possible. In my opinion they go above and beyond what they are required to do.The ladies at the desk are always so polite and smiley as his the head nurse. There are many activities to keep the residents happily engaged and the trivia questions are really hard at times! The entertainment coordinator is a gem and went around and wished each and every resident a happy new year at the party.I would recommend Billings Lodge to any family that is searching for a nurturing caring place to help look after their loved one.Alexandra Smith
