Hi I've bin looking at retirement homes and Stamford estates to me is the best one to choose, I'm thinking of going and hoping that they have a spot under ground parking for me, plus I,love to eat great food and they have that there.

Chelsea did an amazing job giving me a tour of the facility. She answered all my questions and followed up immediately with an email to summarize my fact finding visit to this facility. She took the time to answer all my questions regarding the care my aunt would receive at Stamford retirement estates. This is a top notch facility and Chelsea was an amazing host. She put my mind at ease in order to make a very difficult decision to care for a family member. Thanks Chelsea

A little out of my price range

I visited with a friend and had a lovely lunch served in their dining area. Stamford Estates is most definitely the nicest retirement home I have ever seen. I got a tour and its perfectly laid out, immaculate and has lots to offer. Washing machines and dryers in multiple spots on each floor, lovely common rooms on each floor and countless activities planned daily. The menu offers a wide choice of items and to top it off, the food was exquisite. The servers at lunch were friendly and professionally attired. I was truly blown away.

Beautiful home for seniors. Rooms are large and the place is kept in very good condition. I have had the chance to eat here several times and the food is quite good with a lot of variety over the week. The best part is great staff and an activity list that would exhaust even me. Definitely a place to consider and visit should your loved one need care.

My mother moved in here 3 months ago. She loves it. The apartment is large. The food is great. There is a beautiful outdoor patio. The best part is there is always something to do.

My wifes grandmother is here and WOW. This place is beautiful, and the staff seems to really love working there. It is always clean and looks like there is alot for the seniors to do there. This place is worth checking out for your parents, grandparents.

87 year old Dad has been loving living at Stamford Estates for almost a year now. His health, weight, strength and all around well being have improved since moving there from his home, where he was widowed a year previously. Many thanks to the staff who know all the residents by name, offer to help them whenever needed, pay attention to their personal preferences during daily meals in the lovely, bright and cheerful dining room, and remember birthdays and special occasions with gifts and special notice. Special thanks to Steve Wetmore who made the transition process from considering leaving home to living at Stamford a smooth, patient and easy one, paying special attention to Dads needs, budget, desires and original reluctance to move from his home of 60 years. Dad felt at home very shortly after moving in, loves his suite, and enjoys the friendly social atmosphere with all of the other residents. Thank you Stamford Estates for being there at the time of life when Dad needed a safe place to live, in an uplifting, positive and friendly environment, and for always making me (his daughter) feel so welcome when I come from across Canada to visit for awhile. it is a very nice clean place to live...very friendly staff , my dad loved it there...the only thing is be aware when you decide to move out that you might have a hard time getting your last months rent back....you pay for first and last when you sign the contract but they still double dip and take it out again the last month you are there that you have ALREADY paid....l am still trying to get it back for my dad.....and this is the second time it happened to him as he lived there and moved out and back in again.....but the staff is great and the food is great and all in all a great place to live except getting your last months rent returned to you...so they got the last months rent when he signed the contract, but they also took it out again after he gave his notice of moving......which is unacceptable.....so they they have double dipped..so if you are considering this place l would make sure you clairify that issue before you sign the contract...

Not what I previously assumed. This is an old folks home. Went out for some Asian Cuisine and maybe a pitcher of their finest but was distraught to discover they would not serve me due to the fact it wasnt a restaurant! Uphauld.
