Both my parents moved in in January 2022. My Mom loves it and my Dad did initially. Unfortunately, after 6 months Dad wasn't happy and his mood affected Mom and others. The staff did everything to help, but Dad's mind has been deteriorating and nothing will change that. Plus, Dad refused help or to ask for help, only making things worse. Dad has since moved out and Mom continues to enjoy the camaraderie of the other residents and staff. This is a small retirement home, but it offers more than many much larger homes. Andrew and the staff are approachable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. If you're willing to ask for assistance, interested in interacting with others, and like home style cooking, this is an awesome place!

My father was there a short time just before and after Christmas. He came in the middle of a month so he paid up for that month. We came to find out that he had fallen 3 times in that period, He was badly mark up. Finally we took him to hospital. We drove him. They asked if he felt safe there. We were told he needed more care than they could give him. They dont have night staff. They just wear alert buttons. To me that is not acceptable. What if some resident fell and couldnt alert the owner who lives next door. We took him from there back home. He was only 3 days into the new year . No contact signed or anything about giving months notice . Now they say they are not giving his money back. That is alot of money for a senior on limited income . They were not long taking his money for first part month. Should be entitled to his part month on the other side once he left. He was encourged to leave by Drs. We feel he is owned a reinbursment . Nothing in writting
