I take care of my mother, who is 92 years old, and I work as full time as I can. Up until recently, I have been limited to a government approved list of companies to help with her care. Now that they have opened things up, and I can self-manage using one of the companies on their list, instead of having only one option I have many to choose from. I interviewed a few companies on the list to find out what sorts of things they could offer for us and seemed to connect best with RIGHT AT HOME CANADA. I appreciate that they can start earlier in the morning than others which has been important to my employer and that works best for me, too. At my mom’s age it is all about quality. The ladies do so much more with mom adding to that quality of her life and, much to my surprise, they add a lot to mine, too! Doing things to make my life easier gives me the ability to spend more time doing more fun things with my mom. The care givers are amazing, I can tell Mom really enjoys them. Dementia is really challenging, sometimes more than others. I would not be able to do this without their help. They make our lives so much better. Not just the great care but the reliability takes huge stress off me. The best thing I ever did was go with RIGHT AT HOME CANADA

Right at Home in Burlington provided me with test kits for COVID testing. I do not have a driver’s license and couldn’t go out to get tested. They were kind of enough to provide me home kits. Dani who is the Chief Operating Officer was great and was very kind and answered all my questions. We need more businesses like this in our community that help others and are good and kind people. I have had experineces with other agengies but right at home by far has been the most trusting psw service we have recieved for our sons. My sister Lyse needed assistance for bathing. She also needed an exercise program to help her develop strength in her legs. Right at Home Care Canada sent us a PSW the next day we asked for there help. Elly was very professional and very good with my sister. She talked with her, assisted her in her bathing and exercised with her every time she came to our home. I highly recommend Right at Home. Very professional and attentive to your needs.

My family had Right At Home provide RPN and PSW services for our elderly family member in our home who has Alzheimers disease. The level of care was exceptional and we felt supported and confident in the care being provided. We knew that we could always count on this company to fill in shifts when care was needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful to us. Their staff are trained in proper levels of care for dementia and Alzheimers disease which helped us feel at ease. We learned that not every company out there has staff properly trained in dementia and Alzheimers disease (which was shocking to find out). Do your research! This company is dependable and an excellent resource for providing care to seniors. We highly recommend you try their services.

Right At Home has been coming to look after both my parents for a number of years. The Personal Support Workers who have been in attendance have been punctual, professional and very reliable . Mellissa Adams has ensured that there is excellent communication for any concerns and changes to schedules. Right at Home was a Godsend for our family and I highly recommend them. They helped to care for my ailing father at the end of his life, and his entire care team were kind, compassionate, and dedicated people that treated him as they would their own parent. Whether it was dispensing medicine, personal care, engaging in conversation, meal preparation, or housekeeping, they were all terrific and took their responsibilities seriously. Everyone was prompt for shifts and shared notes and precise daily records with the following shift caregiver. My father enjoyed their company and assistance in all areas, and we felt relieved and grateful that he had such a lovely group of people to aid him when we could not. Right at Home was a pleasure to deal with, and their administrative personnel were professional, courteous and detail-oriented. A huge thank you from the Rosart Family.

Susan from Right at Home Canada Burlington location helped me navigate the sometimes murky waters of aftercare for my Dad after surgery. He wasnt able to go home on his own immediately after surgery, he needed more help than what my family or I could provide. Susan put me in touch with a short term care stay facility that we were thrilled with. My Dad loved the accommodations and the staff were wonderful and hes well on his way to recovery. 4 months ago We have been receiving PSW support from Right At Home in the Niagara Region for a year now; in that time, devoted caregivers have followed and attended to my Mother at Anchor Pointe in Port Dalhousie, at 2 hospitals in seven weeks, and at River Road Retirement in Niagara Falls. The service and care, under the direction of Trish, is exceptional; her caregivers are genuinely caring. Whether they are helping my Mother transfer, walk, bathe, or taking her outside or to the cafe for a change of scene and cup of tea, each one is a gem. One of them brings her homemade baking! What peace of mind, to have this kind of support when I am unable to see my Mother every day. We are so very grateful to the staff and caregivers of Right At Home and give them our highest recommendation.

Right at Home have been there to help me every step of the way- Approximately 31-2 years ago I had my Aunt and Uncle go into a Retirement Residence and they where there to provide 24 hour a day care 7 days a week. A young lady coordinated staff for the prescribed period and made my life bearable and my Aunt and Uncle had the service they required. I had to still maintain my job and if there was a concern RAH communicated the situation to me and everything was looked after in a rather timely manner. I cant say enough about the quality of the people they had working the home for them and where able to get my Aunt and Uncle to do everything Thanks RAH for doing such an outstanding

We found Right Home during a very challenging time of COVID, My Mom was in a Retirement Home isolated in her room by these tough times . My Mom struggles with Dementia and needed assistance with personal care and a friendly face. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant in finding the right assistance for her needs , they called and arrange alternative care-days if there was a gap in scheduling and never left us hanging when it was most needed. My moms progressive disease made it challenging for the staff to do the job they were hired to do as she was refusing their help ( having dementia, my mom would not be able to tell me this) and it was Melissa who was the one who reached out to me to advise they we were not able to give my Mom the service-care we had hired them to do. All the staff that I dealt with were extremely friendly and kind and they never made me feel like I was a burden ( which I have had with other agencies), they were helpful , responsive and I appreciated their open and honest integrity with me about feeling like I was not getting the services I hired them to do for my Mom. Although we received our care through your Durham Region office, I felt that I should also give a review here on your corporate site. Thank you for all of the consideration that you took, the safety and precautionary measures and the screening calls. It is evident that Right at Home was on top of its game with the COVID pandemic. My family has other care providers that come into the home, but none were as thorough as your organization. The care that goes into planning a Care Team is precise and the follow through is impeccable. Our person, Ashley (Care Manager), was an immense help throughout this whole process. She was able to find us programs to help and her knowledge of what is available to who is top notch. Thank you Right at Home for our excellent service!

I would highly recommend Right at Home Mississauga Office to anyone who needs the services that they offer. My husband had surgery last week. He was sent home from the hospital with a catheter after one night in the hospital. I expect that we were somewhat typical of anyone in this situation....worried and afraid of doing something wrong and making matters worse. I decided that I would try (unfortunately at the last minute) to find someone who could provide in-home help. Fortunately for us I found Right at Home Mississauga. I called Julie who helped to reassure me that it is normal to worry and who committed to find a nurse who could come to us before the end of the day. What was especially comforting to me and to my husband was that Julie continued to call me during the day to report on progress. By the end of the afternoon Julie called me to confirm that she had a nurse who would be coming to us in the early evening. The nurse (Louis) was amazing. The care and compassion shown by Right at Home was the highlight of what was a very long and stressful day. Thanks to that help both my husband and i were able to get some much needed sleep that night. Thank you Julie and team.

This company is by far the best in the industry! I have to say thank you again a million times over!!! how far they went to help our family when no other company was able to help was extraordinary beyond belief. Their clients are their priority and that absolutely shows! they truly care and dont stop until they can help!!!! They communicate constantly to let you know what is happening which is so important when you need someone urgently. We used Right at Home from August 2017 until June 2018, when a change in my fathers condition meant that the care he required was beyond the scope and mandate of RaH. During their months of service, RaH caregivers were very reliable, efficient, competent and kind. I do not hesitate to recommend this company.

I would definitely recommend Right at Home Halton for anyone who is looking for in home support for themselves or loved ones. Having a PSW from Right at Home come in to help my mom who has Alzheimer made it possible for her to remain in her home for approximately a year longer than would have been possible. Cheryl spent the longest caring for her and was wonderful. My mom enjoyed her visits and she kept us well informed of what was needed and what she noticed with my mom. Everyone we dealt with at Right at Home Halton were fantastic. My mom is now moving to a retirement residence in the Hamilton area but we cant express how grateful we are for the services of Right at Home Halton.

I work with Right at Home Canada , Hamilton branch as a personal support worker . They have provided me with lots of hours to work within my availability. I find the office staff very supportive and helpful and understanding when it comes to my personal life ( when I it comes to me booking off ) and family emergencies . I have had wonderful clients and safe environment to work in. Whenever I need to speak to someone is always available . I find most of my co-workers work as a team . My coordinator matches me with clients iam comfortable with . I have a feeling that Right at Home staff really care about their employees and clients very much , so far I am very satisfied as an employee . After my Mother fell and broke her hip we needed to find a company that provided Personal Care Workers in the Burlington area. Three such companies were researched and Right at Home (RAH) Canada received the best review score of the three, due to being accredited with the BBB, to certification with CANSA-OPSWA, and having their PSWs insured and bonded. I want to thank Melissa Adams for ensuring all the necessary details were in place, the RAH Service Agreement reflected the required services and for selecting Lori to provide the PSW services. I would strongly recommend RAH to provide PSW services in the Burlington Ontario areas

The ladies from Right At Home have been sent from heaven and provide wonderful loving care to my 93 year old mother. Our family have used their services for over 2 years and they exceed all expectations and more. I personally consider these ladies as my sisters-friends and my mother has adopted them as daughters. My mother loves her girls and often can be found waiting for them to arrive. On several occasions we needed extra help with Mom, and Right At Home stepped up to the plate. Tracey Schlosser, owner operator of Right At Home, always manages to lifts my spirits too! She is a bright star. I couldnt navigate this journey without her and Moms companion worker Cathy.
