Do not move your loved one into this facility unless you want to spend a great deal of time cleaning and caring for them. You will also have to repeat instructions over and over again because they do not seem to document anything. If you don't pay attention to details, they will not change bedsheets for several weeks. You will need to make sure you inspect the room before moving in to insure cleanliness and no odors. Many mistakes were made during the time my loved one stayed at Heritage.

I would definitely not recommend this assisted living facility because of the horrible treatment, the inhumane treatment and the mental, emotional, and physical abuse caused by management to staff and residents. Employees are put through Unsafe work conditions and has broken so many state laws and regulations, such as; quite a few times not having no medication aide overnight and allowing the cnas to handle medication without certification, which has resulted in many pills being taken by a cna which has never been reported, treating residents poorly and not being cared for correctly, some staff and management have stolen and taken supplies and residents belongings, and management has been known to have long lunch breaks and have come back hours later being drunk from margaritas from the restaurants, and have had to sleep in the empty rooms, and that’s just a few problems that occur. I just want to make sure that people are warned about the dangers and situations that are being caused here and I don’t want anyone to be put in a situation where they are not cared about.

I am a Chaplain with Emerald Hospice, I would like to say that this community does a fantastic job of taking care of their residents. Everytime I am there, I get all kinds of feedback about how the residents love it there. They also host great events. I would like to encourage anyone needing assisted living for their loved one to pay them a visit!

Exceptional place. Having worked and served in the healthcare community in Tahlequah over 4 years I can say with confidence this is the BEST assisted living in Tahlequah. It's charming and unique how well cared for and loved the residents are at Brookdale and they have the biggest hearted activities director in the world! Will absolutely use them when I can in the future!!

I love the atmosphere when I walk in the building, the associate are very nice and work very hard. The management staff is wonderful and very helpful, I would move my love ones into Brookdale in a heartbeat. Thanks for being so awesome

I loved working there it was a blessing everyday. Wonderful caring employees. Thought when I left I was bettering my future, but instead when I drive by I think what in the heck was I thinking.
